I've actually never had anchovies. Are they as bad as advertised?

 

I've never had an electoral choice this difficult before. I mean, anchovies have charisma, attitude and strength to be what they are. Mushrooms are unpopular but steadfast. They rarely disappoint or fail to be exactly what you expect.

Sorry, we are using the Georgia laws regarding write-in candidates. Any candidate that wanted to be written in had to have published a notice in a general circulation newspaper prior to the beginning of balloting.

Mushrooms are unpopular? Aren't they like on half of all pizzas? By contrast I've always heard of anchovies as a pizza topping, but I've never seen it happen.

 

I don't eat pizza, but voted for mushrooms, as I eat them with other things.

 

Anchovies. Superb, Digs, with this thread you've helped me recapture how I felt a few hours ago when I forced myself to make a binary choice and finally experienced for myself what voters mean when they say they want to take a shower afterwards.

Coincidentally, all my family members who went the opposite way love mushrooms on their pizza.

 

Good anchovies are good. Not-good anchovies are terrible.

Mushrooms are disgusting fungi. You're basically eating a disease.

Okay well, I voted for anchovies...just because I'm curious to see what they taste like on a pizza. Just like that one episode of Futurama.

I am a mushroom girl, but I like them crispy not spongy chewy. Not sure if I have ever had anchovies either but I understand they lend a very briny hit of saltiness to the mix.
