Z is for Zerkan, a temperate, forrested world within the far Southwest of the Galaxy, Zerkan came under the rule of the Empire when they expanded into these territories. Mostly covered in forrests and woodland the world brought in a decent but not too high number of colonists. When the Imperial Colonial Rule collapsed after the battle of Endor Zerkan was one of the few worlds to remain under Imperial control, in large parts due to the efforts of its governor, Adaric Kor. Kor, a cruel and corrupt man was however a skilled military commander and able to beat many pirate and rebel attacks on his world. His reign of terror lasted for nearly four decades until he was killed following the betrayal by his adjutant Cassandra Weir, who had become utterly disgusted by his cruelties. Immediatley following his death the battle of Zerkan became a turning point in the history of the Southwest as it was the first time Eriaduans and Imperials fought side by side against the Iron Alliance, laying the groundwork for what would later become the Coalition...

I know a planet isn't a character in the strictest sense of the word but it is one of my Own Creations. And it could be intresting to broaden this topic a bit. ;)

A is for Geridan Ames, a Jedi Knight and former crew member of the Daybreak who fought alongside Ben Skywalker during the war against the Sith Empire and played an important role in the rescue operations at Vjun and Bakura in Enter the Foreign. Adventurous and headstrong and stubborn, Ames is most often found alongside his best friend since childhood, Tredo Kohr. He was in a relationship with Allana Djo Solo for a time, and though there was an awkward period following their breakup, they continue to be good friends. Ames also appears in Forces of Gravity and All These Broken Pieces, with a brief cameo in Beneath the Gods of the Bright Sky and the happy AU vig I Still Fall For You Like Suns Do for Skies.

C is for Cozine, Ben. Captain Ben Cozine is an Intelligence operative in the New Republic, age 40 as of 12 ABY. He's a former Imperial Army EOD operative and combat engineer who defected around 0 BBY following the battle of Toprawa. At present his mentor and boss, Crix Madine, pulled him off frontline duty after too many close calls left him feeling as though he expended all his chances. He's currently working on an archaeological expedition in the Calamari sector on the planet Sanctuary.

D is for Darek Halcion, being adopted into the Jedi Order at a young age Darek never very sucessfull in trying to become a Jedi Knight. While he was very intelligent with a particular talent for memorizing the Orders history he was also quite lazy, especially when it came to the physical training. This eventually saw him transfered to the Agri Corps, which he considered a horrible fate. Seeking to escape it he sadly just turned to the wrong person, Chancelor Palpatine. Not knowing he was a Sith Darek delivered numerous crutial pieces of information about the Jedi Service crops to Palpatine, which greatly helped the Empire in destroying them after Order 66. When the Republican Army arrived Darek tried his best to convince his fellow Jedi to surrender, believing that Palpatine would give them a fair trial, when they refused he alone fled to join the Empire. For his services with a huge sum of money in the New Order which he now served as an Inquisitor, mostly just to stay alive. But only after the battle of Endor did he find the courage to finally desert the Empire. Since then he has traveled the Southwestern parts of the Outer Rim, getting by, by working as a healer and teacher for the people. The fact he never touched a single credit of the blood money paid to him by the Empire possibly hinting that there is still a shred of decency left in him...

E is for Eleri Skywalker, the middle child and younger daughter of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade Skywalker, who exists in a happier reality where Anakin Skywalker didn’t turn to the dark side. Eleri is an unconventional and formidable lightsaber duelist, and like her siblings, she inherited her mother’s more reserved nature. The beginnings of her intense but friendly rivalry with talented Jedi apprentice Korbin Bron are shown in The Great Temple Lightsaber Tournament. Eleri also appears briefly in Week Six of Enter the Drabble.

F is for Fengor Ng’xvi-Ta’al-Lhúd, father of Zuckuss and his older brother Gorruss. Proud, greedy, and ruthless, Fengor is one of the highest ranking of the Findsmen Elders of Gand due in part to his hereditary position as the Guardian of Trynfor’s Vault, which contains the last, secret treasured possession left behind by one of Gand’s most legendary Findsmen. The position of Guardian is a inherited by each direct eldest male descendant in the ancient family of Ng’xvi-Ta’al-Lhúd—and, according to prophecy, this succession will only be broken once a younger son of prodigious talent appears in the line and reveals the secret of Trynfor’s Treasure. Thus, when Zuckuss shows of signs of being this Uncanny One, Fengor doesn’t like it at all—and stops at nothing to neutralize his son while continuing his own obsessive quest to fully possess the mysterious Treasure. You may, of course, read all about it in The Book of Gand (parts 1–3, part 4).

With the X-wing he joined Blade squadron on the Hands Down where he had meetings with Talon Intelligence squadron members like Kevin Ski, Floreverus Bullwinkle and Marl before joining another squadron, the Spider squadron on the Taranak. He had a meeting with Leia Skywalker, rescuing a guard, was in the battle of Kuat and returned to Lingala when Daala rose to power. He went with his friends to Moniron where he settled in Noranan and met Lanika

H is for Grand Jedi Master Henri Blagg, dyadric partner of Jedi Master Daisy Tico, famous for leading the ten thousand Gungan montersaurus cavalry attack upon Castle Sassandrassa on Naboo to defeat the Darth Kylos III and the Reformed New First Order.

Brave and serious and permanently psychically linked to Daisy Tico so that it is sometimes confusing which thought is his and which is hers.

(From the eternally partially written, having hit a brick wall many months ago, "Bactus Suisideous")

I is for Idio Ektrom. In the early days of the Republic, Idio Ektrom was a mysterious crime lord who appeared out of nowhere to take over the underworld, and while his fortune was known to be immense and his power virtually limitless, no one could really claim to have seen him or know who he was. Many doubted his very existence, and were it not for the many reported sightings of his chief enforcer, the bounty hunter Homion Teras, the galactic authorities may have believed that he was actually a myth. His true identity was only ever revealed to Jedi Knight Mon Adik, who chose not to share it with anyone. You can read about Idio Ektrom in If This Is a Man.

J is for Jatu Besh, Shield Technician.

In a era that is perhaps vaguely High Republic, the Jedi have captured a mass murderer with Dark Force abilities, and imprisoned him in a high security facility. For some reason the shields around his cell are fluctuating erratically, and so Jatu has been hired to repair them.

As he is escorted to the cell, he feels the gentle condescension of the Jedi at his utter lack of any Force awareness, as if he is blind.

And then he meets the Creature in the Cell...

(Someday, when the twin stories feel right, I'll publish "Tiger" and "Lamb")

K is for Mick and Jim Kerebuy. Mick and Jim were Dunai orphans raised on New Holstice after their parents - both firefighters - died. They studied to become doctors in the great New Holstice hospital. During the clone wars Mick got injured and was the founder of Hospital Squadron, getting doctors and technicians from the hospital under his command in the eta-actis interceptors. They helped Jedi to escape order 66 when they moved to Lingala. On Lingala they worked in Ingal hospital before moving to Moniron where they began to work in Noranan General Hospital. They appear in many of my stories and Mick has published a diary. Both are now married.

L is for Lisette Ragnarsdottar. She is a fourteen year old Taanabi girl, the daughter of a wealthy farmlord and patron and his second wife. After her mother died from complications from childbirth, she was raised by her maternal aunt in the capital city of Pandath. Her aunt was overly protective of her (or just controlling) and after so many sheltered years, she is rather immature for her age. When she was twelve, her aunt died after a long illness--one she had hidden from Lisette until almost the very end--and she went to live with her stepmother, her father's first wife, on her farm in the countryside.

Lisette not only took this in stride, but adapted well to her new life--especially as it gave her the chance to finally know her two elder half-siblings: her brother Augustus--and most especially, for a girl who once had an imaginary sister as her imaginary friend--her sister Antares.

    She appears in Heroes.

M is for Makh Vrill, the nightmare Nautolan ex-boyfriend of my protagonist OC Ayesha Eskari. Okay, Makh isn't an entirely bad guy, he's an intelligent man, he's an excellent writer and philosopher, and he's genuinely in love with her – but he's also rather full of himself, he doesn't tolerate well the fact that, being an alien on Coruscant during the rule of the Empire, he's a second-class citizen, and he tends to behave in a chauvinistic, domineering and patronising way towards her. Of course, it does not end well for him, and she soon kicks him out. He made his first appearance in part I, chapters 3-5 of Ἀνάγκη – Necessity beyond Sway, and I wasn't really planning on bringing him back, but the Kessel Run gave me an opportunity to elaborate on what happened next for him in ‘Discarded’, Throwing Down the Gauntlet, 35:07:01 GrS and Defeat.

    (Happy New Year!)

    N is for Natalizja Piett.
    Wife of Admiral Firmus Piett.

Glamorous and gracious. Probably a social competitor with Mon Mothma.

As her husband was often away on Military Actions to suppress the Rebellion, she took the duty of maintaining their dual political presence by hosting grand garden parties on their immaculately maintained estate.

The idle partners of military officers stuck on Coruscant, other senators, celebrities and so forth mixing as her grateful guests on the Piett family moon.

Then at one lovely garden soiree, guests suddenly began pulling out their communicators to see holograms of panicked people ranting about a disaster over Endor...

Over the next weeks Natalizja sinks into madness, dressing up her servant droid in her husband's uniforms, making the droid talk and act like him. Become him.

Anyway, another half written response to a competition prompt. "Memories of Firmus"

Will it ever be finished? *shrug*

    O Is for Ortatious Aski

A Jedi Youngling Assigned to Clawmouse Clan c.61 BBY, this red headed boy was born on Corulag but the Temple is all he's ever known.

Usually just going by Ort in his youth, he's humorous, friendly, ever so slightly mischievous, but eager to learn and is the kind of person who always stands up for others. Though he can be a little bit nervous at times, and lacks confidence in himself as a Jedi he can go far if he sets his mind to it. He does have some mild trust issue's stemming from an incident where he got a pie in the back, but he doesn't want to disappoint anyone and won't even talk bad about his "enemies" when they aren't looking (for what little that word means to a child). He's one of only two people in his clan to choose to continue studying Shii Cho after his class receives permission to begin branching out to the other forms, and his commitment to it manages to impress all of his teachers as well as many of his peers.

You will get a chance to meet Ort, as well as the rest of Clawmouse clan in the one of the upcoming chapters of A Shattered Minds Eye.
    Phase Two Releasing very soon.

P is for Benno Perion, a Jediknight and master of sports. He never had a padawan but instructed many younglings, padawans and knights during his life. That came to an end when he was defending initiates when Anakin Skywalker turned and became Darth Vader. He was killed during a lightsaber-duel with Anakin. He appears in many of my stories. In one of them Tetrahedron he finds an abandoned baby and brings that to the Jedi-temple.

Q is for Qamara Vos. Qamara is a well-respected member of Clan Vos on Kiffu, and more specifically a member of the Kunisu subclan. She's absolutely tiny, but as everyone says, what she lacks in height she makes up for in personality. It amuses many of the Vos that her only son, Fanees, turned out to be a giant of a man, although no one would dare say so to her face for fear of having her staring them down with those black eyes of hers. And that's all I'm going to tell you, because the story where she appears isn't posted yet, but it's coming soon in my Outcast thread.

R is for R2-J0 (pronounced 'Artoo-Jay-Zero' in longform), a purple and chrome R-Series astromech droid built on Naboo and nicknamed 'Jayo' by his assigned Bravo Squadron pilot and friend, Lt. Mylo Lloyd. Like all good astromechs, his programming was supportive yet snarky, and loyal to a fault. In 32 BBY, R2-J0 was involved in Queen Amidala's effort to liberate her planet from the Trade Federation, and ended up saving Lt. Lloyd's life after their N-1 Starfighter was shot down during the attack on the Droid Control Ship.

R2-J0 is an original character in Star Wars: Episode I - The Steadfast Wreckage.

S is for Darth Satrus, a member of the One Sith and one of Darth Krayt’s top lieutenants. Unlike many of his comrades, Satrus rarely speaks and is known for his unnerving stoicism and his unmatched talent with a lightsaber. He is the only one of Krayt’s followers to ever best the Master in a duel, which in turn earned him his position. Despite being injured, Satrus survived the Battle of Bakura in Enter the Foreign and remains at large. He may or may not appear in other stories… but that would be telling, wouldn't it? T is for Tizar Nan, a fellow Padawan of Anakin Skywalker who impressed him by not actually being impressed by the Chosen One. She originally appeared pre-AOTC in All the Wrong Places, where she was the apprentice of Adren Schilian and died in the Clone Wars. Post-PT release, she appeared in To Cast Away Stones as a former Jedi and current money-changer still working on Coruscant who divorced herself from the Order during the Clone Wars. She has two missing fingers due to her service in the Grand Army of the Republic and a scar on her neck due to a mishap at the time of her Knighting. (Master Schilian miscalculated where to sever the padawan braid and burned her a bit.). At the time of the attack on the temple, she decided to return and help defend the Jedi, but found her old friend leading the attack. Anakin killed her as he did many other Jedi. Her saber was then taken by a Force sensitive volunteer named Luke Lars, who was seriously injured, but not killed. He still kept the saber when he left Coruscant for Alderaan and its whereabouts are unknown, as Luke and his younger sister Leia left Alderaan in the first month of the Empire. In 3 ABY, Leia used Ti’s saber to hold off Imperial troops before her capture in To Gather Stones Together.

    U is for Uluğ Beg
Emir of the ancient and long extinct Samarqand Empire.

A brilliant mystic, scientist and astronomer who attempted to use his knowledge to free his people from the destructive encroachment of the Humans who came from the Stars.
Sadly he failed, and he and his squidlike people disappeared.

Until one day, his Palace/Observatory is visited by a young Explorer/Drug Addict and his servant Torture Droid (S is for ST-4B, "Stabbie". Damnit. Too slow) , and ghosts are awakened.

Oh, are we stuck on V again? I've got us covered (and I also have OCs to propose for X and Z :D )

V is for Volokoss, who appears in The Book of Gand (parts 1–3, part 4) by @Findswoman. Volokoss is a Gand Findsman and Findsmaster of the Lhúdanswani temple, where he mentors Zuckuss throughout his studies, as well as Zuckuss's subapprentice Telfien. He comes across as a kind, principled Gand and an understanding teacher who only wants the best for this students (as opposed to grumpy Okkfel, who mentored Zuckuss's brother), and, as the story goes on, he becomes an increasingly positive influence on his mentees, both on an educational and a personal level.

    -----------------------

@GregMcP That story concept sounds positively epic, and I can't wait to read it!

X is for Xanté Vos. As an adolescent, Xanté participated in one of the early protests against the Galactic Empire, an act for which she was arrested. After her release, she joined the Kiffu underground and rose through the ranks until she became the leader of the Resistance, and after Endor she was selected for the position of sheyf of sheyfs. And again, that's all I'm going to tell you, because the story where she appears isn't posted yet, but it's coming soon in my Outcast thread.
