I did kinda like Riley, for the same reason. He was a chance for something closer to normal - someone who could eventually know and understand who she was, and support her in it, but still almost a normal guy himself. Someone able to be in both worlds, I guess. And I appreciated the fact that as someone who did originally come from the normal world, he was able to accept the ways that Buffy was different. Of course, at the time all of this was set against knowing that Buffy was probably still in love with Angel, so I wasn't 100% for Riley.

Every time I see the series, I like Riley a little more and feel a little more badly for him. Ultimately, though, he was Rebound Guy.

It really was hilarious, though. Some things are worth it.

 

I have had a small vial of scented oil that I purchased at Faire when I was pregnant with Bean sitting on my bathroom counter for years. Last night, my evil offspring decided to pour it all over herself, the candles in my bathroom, the toilet and my toothbrush. I slept like crap. Most of you know I am super sensitive to smell, and I kid you not the smell is EVERYWHERE!

I tried bathing said monster, and now her side of the apartment smells like Faire as well.
