I have a question. Why isn't this person a VIP?

After all, if ex-mods are allowed VIP status, then shouldn't he. Matt was a very good Lit. forum mod - always friendly and always helpful.

And if it's his choice to not be anything special, then at least he should be recognized for being an ex-mod like the others are recognzied. A non-VIP VIP or something. Maybe start up a new section on this list at the bottom to recognize him and those like him.

 

He specifically requested not to be a VIP, I believe. I could be wrong, though.

As far as I know, the only ex-mods that aren't VIPs are Kadue and Son of the Suns (two of our best, I might add!), both of whom want to be "regular users" again. I suppose we could give them a little mention at the bottom of the list but I believe that neither of them want any special treatment. Talk about humility!

I'll be in charge of updating these lists in the future. I plan on replacing all the scattered versions we have (in Communications, Announcements, and Info Threads) with one universal list that I'll be maintaining.

You'd be suprised at how many mistakes there were, there are at least 6 that I found, mostly of people not being vips. But that's in addition to those that have already been corrected. Who makes these things?

Actually, Mark CK (the former Collecting mod) and Paul/Chewbacco don't have VIP colours. Mark CK didn't want the colours either, and Paul got unceremoniously demoted after demoting a load of the moderators and promoting several Slackers.

 

NathanDahlin: There is one more. Lord Chewy is the other ex-mod who's not a VIP.

EDIT: I now have 100 Admins/Mods/Managers/FF Reps/VIP's on my Watched User List.

 

I was also a JC Manager. I'd appreciate that being added to my name.
