    Consensus, indeed.

Since all three of us agree on none, none will be added.

    Next 10:

    11. ?Big Bottom?
    12. ?Blame Canada?
    13. ?Bohemian Rapsody?
    14. ?(See What) The Boys in the Back Room (Will Have)?
    15. "Born to Be Wild"
    16. ?Buffalo Gal (Won?t You Come Out Tonight)?
    17. "Cabaret"
    18. ?Call Me Irresponsible?
    19. ?Camelot? (the Monty Python version)
    20. ?Circle of Life?

Of this lot, I'd like to keep only 19.

    I'm going with 15, 19, 20

By the way, I'm only choosing from ones I've heard. If I don't pick it, I'm not saying it's bad, I just can't judge its quality.

EDIT: Maybe we should say if the majority agree?

So, looks like Camelot stays anyway! We have achieved something here! :p

Okay, I altered the voting. If a majority votes to keep the song, it stays--for now.

So from the first ten the following songs stay:

    1. ?Ain't Too Proud to Beg"
    5. "America"
    6. ?Anything Goes?
    7. ?Baby, It?s Cold Outside?
    9. ?Be Our Guest?

From the second ten, only "Camelot" from "Monty Python & the Holy Grail" stays.

    And the third ten:

    21. "Coal Miner's Daughter"
    22. "Come What May"
    23. ?Comedy Tonight?
    24. ?Crazy?
    25. ?Day-O?
    26. ?Dear Mr. Gable (You Made Me Love You)?
    27. ?Deep in the Heart of Texas?
    28. "Do You Love Me (Now That I Can Dance?)"
    29. ?Don?t Fence Me In?
    30. "(Don't You) Forget About Me"

    Of these, I would keep 23. 24. 25. and 28.

Wait, so you aren't keeping "Goldfinger"? Or "I am a Man of Constant Sorrow"? Bah! :p

I agree with your assessment for this 10, though, Zaz.

Okay, "I Say a Little Prayer" and "I'm A Believer" make the list.

    Next ten possibles:

    61. "In Dreams"
    62. "In Your Eyes"
    63. "Into the Groove"
    64. "It Might As Well Be Spring"
    65. "It's Magic"
    66. "I've Got You Under My Skin"
    67. "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face"
    68. "Jeepers Creepers"
    69. ?La Mamma Morta"
    70. "The Last Time I Saw Paris"

    61, 64, 65 & 70

"In Dreams" is Roy Orbison being brilliant. I like 64 because it's one of the few standards Rogers and Hammerstein wrote directly for the screen (from "State Fair"). I've hear several good versions of "It's Magic" and "The Last Time I Saw Paris" is frankly a maybe.

I just saw My Fair Lady last week because I wanted to see how "I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face" fit into it. It's a beautiful song. A version of it was also used on the first TV appearance of Jim Henson's muppets IIRC.

61, definitely. Orbison's performance is one of the best in all music and the usage in the film was brilliant as well.

And I say 69, a great scene from Philadelphia with Hanks explaining the opera to Washington.
