Clyde Drexler - Exciting player and was always very classy about their loss to Jimmy V and the Wolfpack in the NCAA championship game.

Steve Kerr - I just love guys that know their role and play it well.

Tim Duncan - I'm always amazed at how dominant Duncan has been in pros because even though he was always a tremendous player in college, he seemed to play soft. So his success in the pros is unreal, plus it shows what staying in college four years can do for you.

Julius Erving - From the free throw line . . .

    Andrea Bargnani
    - Probably not going to be dominant or anything, but that stroke is just so smooth.

    Walt Frazier
    - Damn, this was tough. Two very comparable players here. Both pass first players with a good scoring ability and reputations as top notch defenders. Gotta go with Clyde.

    George Gervin
    - Don't know who the other guy is, but c'mon, nobody's voting against this...

    Penny Hardaway
    - Why don't I know any of these players? :p Anyways, I've always been a big fan of Penny's game. Actually, I have a thing for all of Shaq's sidekicks...

Phil Ford - The man who perfected the execution of the "Four Corners."

Kevin Johnson - Just because I'll never forget that dunk of Hakeem.

George Gervin - Gaze does not ring a bell.

    Tyler Hansbrough - "Psycho T"

    Abstain.

    Kevin Johnson.

    George Gervin.

Penny Hardaway. And though Dal probably won't believe this, I actually had to think about this one. Almost went the other way, too.

Clyde Drexler - More for his Phi Slamma Jamma days. THe most entertaining basketball team ever, how they lost to NC State is the worst coaching job ever.

Abstain -- who on earth cares about either of them

    Tim Duncan

Dr J. Still the best dunker ever.

Out of curiosity, how many votes do we have to throw to get Hardaway-Amechi as a match-up?

    Tim Hardaway
    - This was tough. Haven't seen Havlicek a whole lot, but the videos I have seen have been ridiculously impressive. 2nd or 3rd best SF ever to play the game. But I just have too much... love (was going to say respect, but...) for Timmy to vote against him this early. That crossover was a thing of beauty, and for some reason, I always loved hi shooting form.

    Grant Hill
    - Who the hell is Shane Heal? Doesn't matter, I'm wouldn't vote many over Grant Hill. Remember when Duncan and Hill sort of, almost got paired together? Talk about nice guy galore. That combo would have more manners than the Royal family. He's seriously underrated as a player too. So smooth with everything he did. It really was one of the biggest tragedies in basketball. Man I'd love to see him join the Raps this off-season. MLE might just be enough.

    Kirk Hinrich
    - Yeah, Bob pretty much gave my team a bunch of their titles, but Kirk really is one of my favourite players in the league. Mainly because he would be absolutely PERFECT on the Lakers. He really just doesn't fit very well with the Bulls right now. Forced to create too much as a main offensive option, as opposed to settling into a supporting role like he should, That defense though, man. SO glad he finally got some recognition this year for it, although Kobe and Kidd over him on the first team All-Defense? Please.

    Zydrunas Ilgauskas
    - Neither are favourites of mine, but something about Big Z has always intrigued me. I still maintain the belief that he could be WAY more effective (even at this age) on a different team. The Cavs should be playing more up-tempo, and Big Z is a big thing holding them back whenever he's on the floor. He's a great bigman on the block, and his rebounding and shotblocking isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Nor is he soft, which is another misconception I hear often. I'd love to have him on the Wiz or the Lakers. Desperately need a low post option, and it doesn't seem like Cleveland wants (or needs) him that much.
