Drazen Petrovic -- hate the answer

    abstain -- who?

Antawn Jamison - based on his college career and the fact that Luc flat out sucked.

Magic Johnson - made the NBA fun to watch more than anyone but Jordan. Showtime was basketball at it's most beautiful, and best. And Magic was showtime, and so much more.

    Drazen Petrovic
    - I'm not a big Iverson fan at all, and the fact is, Drazen was a special player. Yes, I've only seen clips, but those clips were all that was needed to realize how special Drazen was. He probably never would've gotten as good as AI, but he gets my vote nonetheless.

    Daniel Gibson
    - Couple months ago it would've been abstain, just because I didn't care enough about Gibson to give him a vote. All I knew about him was he was a solid, albeit young, point guard who should be above Eric Snow in the rotation. And let's be honest, who the hell didn't know that? Mike Brown is the apparent answer to that question.

    Antawn Jamison
    - Yes, he shoots way too many jumpers for a PF. Yes, he has the most annoying array of floaters you'll ever see in your life. And yes, the last time he played defense was ________ (insert infinite amount of time here). Yet still, Antawn Jamison is the leader of the Wizards. He's the presence in the locker room and he's the leader on the court. It may not seem like it to most people, but this Wiz team would crash and burn without Jamison.

    Magic Johnson
    - Avery's cool and all, but that first round was an absolute nightmare of a coaching job, and c'mon, this is Magic we're talking about.

    Luc Longley

    Allen Iverson
    vs.
    Drazen Petrovic

I love AI, but man...Drazen Petrovic once dropped 112 points in a Euro-league game! That's a lot of shots! AI is great, but man this is tough...I've gotta go with Drazen here...RIP.

    Lauren Jackson
    vs.
    Daniel Gibson

Ever seen the Lauren Jackson nude photos? How abotu Daniel Gibson's? I'm going with LJ here.

    Luc Longley
    vs,
    Antawn Jamison

Luc Longley was a victim of circumstance...and bad hair. He played at New Mexico and was the 7th or 8th overall pick in the draft by Minnesota. He was a staple in the center for many solid, and great teams. He has a championship ring, too. How many does Antawn Jamison have? Who was more important to their teams? I'm going with the big stiff, Luc Longley, here.

    Avery Johnson
    vs.
    Magic Johnson

Magic and Avery don't belong in the same sentence together...Magic wins easily.

Funny, because Luc pretty much defines the word stiff. Although he happened to be one of the best ever. :p

He was a very solid center.

I watched him a lot in college whenever he'd play the Air Force Academy (I live in Colorado Springs), and he was dominant in college. In the pros, he was always a starter. Didn't matter who he was brought in to fight with for the C position, he always came out on top.

A fierce defender, he didn't get a TON of blocks, but his positioning and footwork was amazing. He was a pro who would have played more years if his back didn't fall apart.

    viva Luc Longley!

He was a very solid center.

No doubt there. You can't win a championship with someone in your starting lineup who absolutely sucks. Still, he is a stiff. The very definition of one. Yes, his defense was good -- or even great. Yes, he could finish when he got the ball in the right position. Yes, he was a very smart player. Yet even with all that, he was still a stiff. A great stiff, but a stiff nonethelss.

Oh yeah, stiff, stiff, stiff, stiff, stiff. :p

Yes he has 3 rings, unless they were lost when his mansion burned down! :)

He knew how to pass really well, too. He'll never be a hall of famer, but he's better than guys like Adonal Foyle!

Adonal Foyle...the recipient of the second most undeserved contract in NBA history...the first being Jim McIlvaine's huge contract of the early 90's with the Sonics.

You'd think the fact that he couldn't hit the front backboard from 8 feet away would be proof enough.

Allen Iverson - not a game, not a game, not a game, we're talking about practice. 'nuff said.

Daniel Gibson - not a huge Gibson fan, but I'll give him the nod here.

RE Longley: he was an adequate center who filled his role on a great team fairly well. The same is true of Bill Wennington. Who was definitely not "great".
