That's OK, HS29 - have a fun trip!
Rocie loves the cool pictures she makes in IS and creates them for cool computer backgrounds for disktops.
Well, it's less than 4 hours til New Year's Day here in the UK - so I will wish all of you a Happy New Years before I head off for the evening...
It officially turned 2005 here about an hour ago, so...Happy New Year!
Btw, the beach is really nice right now. We've had excellent weather all week so far.
Happy New Year from Texas!
I finally did make a good planet!
That's a cool planet. The link needs work, though. The 'command' for it should be [image = http://www.mustangmods.com/data/6441/planet.jpg ] without the spaces. Like this:
Or, [link = http://www.mustangmods.com/data/6441/planet.jpg] The planet[ /link ]
to make it [link=http://www.mustangmods.com/data/6441/planet.jpg]The Planet[/link]
Of course, clicking on the url in blue at this point would do the same thing.
That looks great, SkyWook! There's some great looking planet renderings around here lately. I really should give that tutorial a try. One of these days anyway...
There we go. A new monthly Fan Art Challenge. I hope to see some great pieces of art coming through it.
Thanks for the heads up, jace!
Now let's get to work!
Now let's get to work!
Waaaay ahead of you.
Uh well something to that effect, yea.
The second planet's even better!
I'm making a new layout for my [link=http://skywookiee.fateback.com]site[/link]. I'd like some advice on how can I improve it, especially the displaying art and icons part.
Navigation along the left side.
Oooo, Sky, that second planet is nice.
Happy new year to everyone! I've been out of the loop for the past week, so I'm looking forward to catching up on everyone's art.
Ok i just finnished that saruman/dooku picture went and clicked 'Save As' in photoshop and it dissapears, no crashing, just dissapears, the whole program gone, including all the work on it.
Sky: Wonderful planet you made there. I just can't get over how real they all turn out. Nice job!
Ehh...sorry to hear that, odj. It was really coming along nicely too.
And just on a sidenote - I'm finally back from the Outer Banks. So, I should be back up to my normal posting habits.
I've got PS 7.
Great second planet. It looks real.
I just want to make a note that I will be starting to make changes in here - including creating new threads for discussion, art exercises etc. This also includes creating the two sticky threads which I think would benefit this forum - the welcome thread and the spoiler policy.
Now, to get things rolling, would you guys like to see the Fan Art Class and Fan Artists Interview threads back and running? I was also going to restart the official request thread in the near future.
I would love to have a Fan Art Class thread.
I thought you would say that, Rocie.
Anyway, I think a thread like this could really benefit our artists here, so I think I'll start it up and give it a trial run and see how it does.
You're getting to know me well.
