    major confusion

Meanwhile the English batsmen have decided they don't want to get out.

EDIT: Bell gone for 87, let the collapse begin. NB collapse will either consist of the English batting order or Warne will collapse from exahustion from bowling for so long.

Well, now that Collingwood is in, expect the run rate to pick up extremely.

    :p

Edit: Collingwood is out. [face_dancing] 3/187

What a nice way to finish the days play. :D

Two wickets by McGrath, one of which was the century maker. So the score at the end of the day is 5/265 with England needing 292 runs to win.

England did really well today, I must say. Most people probably assumed that they would be all out by the end of it - but it was far from that. They nearly survived the whole day with only the loss of two wickets. Oh so close. Cook did well for his 116 just to simply stay in there. I still can't see them winning, but at least they put up a fight.

    :)

With Pieterson and Flintoff at the Wicket, they'll either win or lose - there won't be a draw (unless it rains)

And The Ashes are back in Australia's hands.

    [face_dancing]

    Jazzy!

I just saw a reply of that bowl, Kypt. Clean bowled. Nice. I caught most of the interview Mark Taylor did in Australia's locker room afterwards as well - now that's something new! I thought it was awesome to see... and hilarious.

    :D

That was great in the dressing room Tyi. I sort of got the feeling that the didn't really want the camera's in there though...

Jchef, that'd be just like England to pull it together after the series is decided (like the last three Ashes series)

lol indeed. Already this match doesn't appear to pose much in the battle department.

England: all out for 159. o_O

Warne got five wickets. We're now at 2/48 at the close of play. Why did they put a night watchmen in? I thought they were against that these days.

I thought the no nightwatchmen thing was a Steve Waugh edict.

It's useful, because the batsmen can't gain anything in that small period, but they can lose a lot. Although Australia really doesn't have a great option for it since they dropped Gillespie...

    lol at Bangladesh [face_laugh]

Ponting has nothing against nightwatchmen, as Gillespie showed. I doubt anyone is going to top that effort though. :p
