Full Series The Bad Batch 1.02 - Cut and Run - Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

"Cut and Run" is an absolute gem of an episode in my mind. The first two episodes have been incredible and I am keeping my fingers crossed for a perfect season.

 

There was a lot of tension, especially regarding Cut, but it wasn't "in your face;" it was sort of an underlying tension, just beneath the surface, and it worked, I think.

 

7/10. Was very good but felt a bit convoluted at times with how they had to put Omega on the ship, Tech not consult hunter before getting it impounded, and how they got away so easily even after the port was supposed to have been locked down.

Also, glad to be back, and this time I hope to stay.

 

Indeed. I was worrying about Cut during the entire episode. I think it is the setting. This part of the "Star Wars" timeline loves to be dark and depressing. Nothing from "The Clone Wars" or the PT era is left unscarred or ruined in some way by the reign of the Galactic Empire.

 

Frankly, I prefered TCW when it wasn't "dark" or what not, though I don't mind, per se.

Well, same with The Bad Batch; make it dark, but let's not make it depressingly so.
