Yes and he's very easy to bring back without feeling to big, like Maul would, he would indirectly involved with Dryden as his underling.

 

Yeah, I'd say leave out Maul, but Dryden yes please!

 

If this show goes for say 4-5 seasons, i can see them going for like last villain like Palpatine in Rebels.

 

I do think the Pykes will return

 

I'm guessing there are no nerves in their horns, so it would be like cutting hair or fingernails.

 

It’s probably more of a statue thing

 

I think pykes will maybe try to go out of their deal with Maul and out of the shadow collective.

 

They still worked together slightly during Solo

 

They have a fragile relationship with Crimson Dawn, so sometihng must have happenned, we know Crimson Dawn is the most btrual of the crimes syndicates, they put black sun to shame with how brutal they are, cutting tungs of women and children.

 

Still not enough to break things for good. There is definitely a story there

 

I think a good story can be made but they still there.

 

I do think this episode won’t be looked at as filler down the road

 

I think this one will be more important in the future just like "The Gunslinger" has turned out to be in The Mandalorian. Roland is similar to Lux, yeah obviously he's no one's love interest. But he seems to be on the dumber side and it gets him in over his head. He's probably as much a plot device as a character to get the Bad Batch places in the future. Just because Roland was told to stay clear of the Pykes doesn't mean he won't go get himself into a deal with someone even worse later. I could see serving a role similar to Hondo in Rebels.

 

Some of these characters will have big roles to play

 

I gave this 8/10.

I did like this but felt it seemed very self-contained like their previous operations for Sid. I didn't feel it added much to the current story, BUT like I've seen mentioned here it could be more important in season 2. The action was good and new characters as well. I do like the prospects it opens up.

 

The Pykes make effective villains, I think.
