Full Series The Bad Batch 3.14 - Flash Strike - Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

Wow, that side trip to Canto Blight was unexpected.

 

I had a bad feeling when TBB showed up wearing nothing but trench coats.

 

I'm finally caught up, so this will be the first episode I'll see as it airs this season. I don't know what it was like week-to-week, but it flowed really well as a binge watch.

 

Hopefully a Flash Gordon homage.

 

A strike on a base goes wrong

 

Super Powers intermixed with the Bad Batch? Say it ain't so until we see Flash go in to save the clones since no one else could get there in 14 episodes!

 

Who knew the long anticipated Clone Rebellion would amount to a minor labor strike.

 

"Flash Strike" sounds like the cheesy name of a Six Flags coaster.

 

Well yeah, the science vessel was going to Six Flags and not Tantiss. The whole episode is at Six Flags where Rampart helps Wrecker cut through the ride lines and Crosshair gains 50 pounds after getting a crippling funnel cake addiction.

 

The basset hound from Dukes of Hazzard went bowling?

 

There's...always...a...monster.

But I have to say, Rampart's scream was absolutely hilarious.

Nice to see Echo finally received a hand from someone.

Crosshair is totally going to save Rampart and I like it.

And the Zillobeast is so coming to their rescue.

It was always going to be an episode to get everyone into their starting positions for the finale. Everything is set to go bang next week.

 

Wow, it took them 46 episodes to give Echo a hand. This is honestly hilarious. Action figures, like the one from Hot Toys, did it all the way back when S1 was airing. They sure took their time.
Omega returning that fast when it took her half the episode to climb all that way was BS.

God, this show is predictable. I audibly groaned.

Rampart's scream was hilarious, indeed.

Otherwise whatever. Just get this over with already. Can't wait for Tales of the Empire.

 

I love the tension of this show so much - every week I’m biting my nails. Like I know they’re not going to show child murder on Bad Batch but also it’s not completely impossible for Star Wars. I remember a movie, something like Revenge of the —anyway

Excited to see how it wraps up next week, though I’ll miss this show dearly

Sorry if this a double post but…it’s hilarious to me that not only do you spend a ton of time moaning (and groaning) about this show but you also watch it the absolute second it drops. I mean I do too but I happen to love this show. Make it make sense

Sunk cost fallacy, man. I tune in to see that maybe something good will finally happen, since we are at the very end of the entire series. But alas. I used to like this show in S2. S3 killed that. I don't have to justify me having opinions to you, sorry. And not all opinions have to be just gushing.

 

That was fun with all the action pieces were great. Fun to see Rampart screaming. And who finds The Zillobeast help them escape, cringe i feel bad for you. Thats the fun of Bad Batch, serious and silly momments like Clone Wars and Rebels. All the rantings here i think you might not like Certain animation shows. Good to have Echo Doing the Rebels gag of being a storm trooper in hiding. Echo gets a hand. And yes i think Hunter or Crosshair are the dead clones in the Finale. In Finale we could get both the Zillobeast and Rex's clones to the rescue.

 

Gushing is a point of view, I guess. You certainly gush your disdain for this show in great walls of text that make me question if the sunk cost fallacy extends to additional time spent in a forum. But if the math checks out to you, then it does to me.

Medicore, lol. Watch more cartoons. This is one of the better and more adult cartoons.

 

I liked it, it got me on the edge of my seat again... will the kids use the Force to befriend the Zillobeast?
What if Grogu is there and is also saved?
For a moment I thought Rampart was going to be shredded to pieces live and I would have enjoyed it! Sorry not sorry!
I really don't want to loose anyone and I fear we will....
... what about everybody survives we hop on a ship (get Batcher and Phee back) try to flee, ship is damaged entering hyperspace, risks to blow up, at the last second...
... a purrgil appears in hyperspace and "docks" the ship then goes on to superhyperspace!
Aaaaand scene!

And then see you all in live action in Peridea in Ahsoka Season 2 all ready to...stay there safe and hop back to our galaxy in the new Rey movie (please be good ...)?

P.S. I agree Omega going back seemingly so quick after taking so much time to go was kinda weird/nonsense unless there is something behind that...
