The Bad Batch The Bad Batch Season 1 Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)

The real question is whether they'll let the run of Bad Batch overlap with Marvel's What If...?

Seems to me less likely, but if Bad Batch runs for so many weeks / months, it's hard to see where they'll fit 'What If?'.

Loki premiers June 11, so as long as Bad Batch is more than 6 episodes, it'll be running concurrently with a Marvel series. Unless Bad Batch is only running 6 episodes then taking a break.

 

Marvel’s What?

 

Marvel has an upcoming animated series titled 'What If...?' dated for 2021; Loki is a 6 episode series premiering on June 11th. Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel are also scheduled for fall 2021. They have Black Widow opening on July 9th and premiering same day on Disney+. Shang-Chi in September, Eternals in November, and Spider-Man in December.

I just wonder if they would have a Star Wars show and a Marvel show releasing new episodes on the same day. Loki is taking the Friday spot starting June 11th (through July 16th). Assuming Ms. Marvel and Hawkeye are both at least 6 episodes, that's 12 weeks of MCU shows later in the year. They've gotta fit the first season of What If..? somewhere. I wonder if that means Bad Batch and Loki both premiering on Fridays in June or Bad Batch taking a break to make room for the MCU.

The runtime for both first episodes, there average bad batch episode might be longer then clone wars, was. Second episode might be when we see Rex and Cut, based on episode is named cut and run.

Time-line wise, do we know where exactly Bad Batch fits in? Any word on how long after TCW it is?

 

immediately. Order 66 is in the trailer. If not, then we should find out in a few days.

 

It is going to be interesting to see how Order 66 portrayed in Bad Batch will fit concurrently with events in both ROTS and SOM. 70 is awesome which makes me wonder how they will use that time. We're only 33 minutes shy of SOM with all episodes combined.

 

So yea seems like these won’t be the same length as TCW but shorter than the average Mando episode

 

Well, I'm officially overhyped, took May 4th off as I did with the premier for TCW season 7. I'm guilty of seeing this as a continuation which is dangerous. Maybe I really did it spiteful of my company deciding to celebrate Smoothy Day instead.

 

We are getting basically a full on movie

 

I think all new animations shows should now start and end like movies.
