Well, gee. Now I won't be happy until I've seen this.

 

I wonder if Gungi perhaps bites it defending Kashyyyk? Maybe this feeds in to the Rebels opener and that Wookie kid Ezra saves is actually somehow connected to Gungi and so Ezra had a special connection to him which he wasn't aware of at the time?

 

Lumanari must be dead by this point right?

 

I suspect… this is why we need the new timelines book.

I like the idea, but it may be a bit of a stretch to connect it to rebels like that. If that is the case though, Gungi could be in the Asoka show too. ( or even the Bad Batch in general)

 

Yeah it seems Filoni has either forgot all about Rotta or is planning something for him. It was very dumb he was not even mentioned in BoBF, but seriously that show had so many stupid things anyway. Still disappointed in it.

 

But Filoni is all knowing!

Is this Ians first time voicing the character in animation or did he do it in Rebels

I'll be curious if this season is also 16 episodes. No mention was made during the Celebration panel. The first season felt too long to me, and it could have easily been condensed down to 10-12 episodes. If season 2 is the same length and that September 28th release date holds, we'd possibly be looking at it stretching into early January.

 

I hope it stretches into January. Then we’d get a short break before Mando Season 3.

The Clone Wars had what? 20 and 24 episode seasons? That series jumped around so much you never knew who was going to be on it from week to week. That breaks it up.

 

Right, The Clone Wars had the freedom to hop to different characters and arcs every 3-4 weeks, whereas The Bad Batch largely follows a single group of characters in one continuous narrative. While the subplots can have some value, they often feel like diversions that hinder overall narrative momentum. I had a similar issues with the pacing of the second and third seasons of Rebels.

 

The clone wars also had its filler episodes.

 

I'm glad we are still getting Imp clones as baddies. Shots of the Clone Commandos and Phase 2 armored clone troopers in the trailer. I'm sure the first regular human stormtroopers in TK trooper armor will shows up again. Maybe in the end of this season or in the next we see the classic stormtrooper armor appear.

 

The Clone Wars also used to split and run some episodes in the fall and in the spring. I think ultimately unpopular episodes such as Infested will be more important later. Much like Gunslinger in Mando has turned out to be important.

I wonder with Crosshair appearing to go back to the Empire in the Trailer, if we'll get see some issues with the enlisted bodies integrating with the clones.
