EDIT: For the record, I was offered Bob, Doc and Hamilton for Kersh and Kersh alone. I'M the one who added the pick swaps in to make it even remotely fair.

Not that anyone aside from Hamilton turned out to be worth half a damn in that trade, so....

If they are not on your roster, that will require buying a scouting report

If they are on your roster, I'll provide that information, but nothing further

 

Just brainstorming here because 40 rounds seems like a whole heck of a lot, but suppose after the 25 active roster rounds we moved to something like package deals. Like 5 players from the same franchise each round, or something similar? We’re talking about guys outside of the top 250 players, at that point. Taking a few at a time can’t be that big a deal, and if you’re waiting to steal a gem maybe now you have to prioritize them to an active draft pick so someone doesn’t grab bag them. Just a thought.

This but unironically. I am totally on board with extending this thing to 240 rounds and drafting players for a full minor league organization.
