Nice avatar change! My Tales of the Jedi avatars are amongst my favorites. The early-90s were good for Star Wars. I also think someone was on-board a little bit more than most people think when the license shifted to Dark Horse.

 

Thanks. Ulic Qel Droma remains my favorite Jedi from The Tales of the Jedi. His story has tragic elements, but the best stories do. Indeed, the 90’s were good to us. I remeber that I knew about Double-Bladed Lightsabers/ Staffsabers before Darth Maul emerged in TPM. My first encounter with them was Exar-Kun’s Staffsaber.

 

Yeah, same here on the double-bladed sabers. The first art panels that introduced the double-bladed saber were quite dramatic.

Best waffles are the homemade variety. Even figured out how to mix and match types of flour to get good 'safe' waffles without that whatcha'ma'call'it? Gluten? Anyways, my nieces agreed, so case closed. My homemade sugar minimalist waffles with mostly organic ingredients are the best, the very best, huge hit, absolutely. Huge.

Speaking of which I need to make sure to restock so that I can make it for them again. Weather is a little off kilter here, it was freezing for a good while and now it's getting to nearly not freezing so we are forming super icicles everywhere. Never heard of the tire socks, that looks cool. Chains are a rare thing and more for larger vehicles here.

It's good when you can be competent enough at a recipe to adjust and customize it. I'm that way with pizza these days. Don't know if I'll ever be able to enjoy take-out pizza again!

 

I hear you there, but I am a lazy cook. I could do healthy pizza but the fridge is small for the ingredients and there are a couple of award winning pizzas a short drive away.

Although to be fair Darth IshyZ, if I cook something twice I start to change things. The first time is always 'What is this recipe supposed to taste like?' Any time after that while I still remember tasting it from last time is 'Now how can I make this either taste better or taste as good but be healthier?'

 

Or, just experiment. This weekend I'm going to do just cheese for one of the pizzas, but going to experiment with a fourth cheese. I already do mozzarella and cheddar. I'm going to try fontina and/or provolone. I'm really looking forward to it. Maybe too much!

 

I love five-way cheese sandwhiches and pizzas.
