    Oh yeah... the road trips can be a lot of fun!

    We do the trek every year from the Philly area down to Orlando, about 17-18 hours nonstop. We occasionally pull over at a rest area or to grab a bite to eat (and for gas, obviously), but we tend to go straight through without an overnight stay. We rotate between three drivers, and that works very well for us. Of course, I always get the graveyard shift through the Carolinas, which can be tedious, but we make it through! :p

    We had three drivers this time, it helps if the other will drive more than an hour or two.

    Oh, there are places I would love to take road trips on.

    Monument Valley in the west is one of those places. Just beautiful.

    Last road trip I took we covered 2,000 miles in 5 days there and back again; crazy thing is my friend did all the driving by choice and refused every time I offered. So I bought most of our meals to pay him back.

    Worked out well for me as I'm not much of a driving fan.

    Checks the setting on the aftermarket tuning system, switches from Slot 5 (Economy) to Slot 1 (Max Performance)

    I never use Slot 2, 3, or 4. What's the point?
