Zam Wesell should've won that fight.

 

What is puzzling is they go on and on about her being Changeling, but she never does change. I mean it would have been neat if she snuck up on Obi as a Twi’lek or was the Death Stick guy.

 

The brief glimpse of Zam changing back into a Clawdite in the speeder is pretty cool. And she changes when she dies. RIP.

But yeah, Zam was underutilized imo. Such a cool character. Same with Aurra Sing; even more underutilized. And then we hear she was killed offscreen in SOLO. What a waste of a cool character.

 

Or, just changed and walked out.

 

Sadly, Jango assassinated Zam after she was caught and wounded by the Jedi.

 

That is.. a better idea.

I know you're a fan of SW lore. One interesting fact about Clawdite changelings is that it can be very stressful and painful to change into certain body shapes; and several are out of reach for many weaker Clawdites. Zam was already using her energy to stay hidden as Zam and it might have been too difficult to change into another creature while under that severe stress of being hunted by Kenobi and Skywalker.

Just my theory. Notice she did change back into her normal Clawdite appearance while under stress in her speeder.

 

Jango is a lady killer, no wonder he had to get a clone son.

 

There is a cool Zam comic in which she visits Jango and Boba on Kamino.

 

Ah good catch Dags! Her real form is green skinned, so she already is in changeling state.

She is a character in The Jango Fett Video Game too. The game flushes our how Jango and her met and end up working together.

 

Clawdites are an interesting species.
It takes lots of training to change and many are unable to perform other than minor changes in appearance.

But it doesn't work like in a lot of sci fy shows/universes with changelings who can zip in and out of other forms at will no problem.

Clawdites don't behave this way as it takes them much more effort and practice to shape shift.

 

I had no idea. It explains then why Zam doesn’t just change in the Night Club.

My favorite are the Miraluka. Having to rely on the Force to see is Bombad.
