Any Jedi Master (and/or Knight?) is welcome to give me a Guardians task. I have a lot of free time lately, and my character's just kinda... sitting there.

How do you get rid of that lump in your chest when a dear friend passes away? I cried, then I was quiet, I had a wine but the sick feeling and the lump won't go. I am going to miss my friend.

Been thinking about all the laughs we had over the few years I knew him. Such a funny man with a wicked sense of humour. He'd flirt with all the 'ladies of a certain age' and with class and made us all feel special. Tall and very English and proper but a bit naughty. How his dear wife will be without him I cannot imagine. She is very precious to me. They are older, and at 72 this lady is at Medieval Fairs in costume shooting archery with me! She attended a Drag Show last year with me and we laughed so much. She comes to parties and she is such a hard worker at our Archery Club. I want to be her in 20 years, I so want to be her. She's my idol. Still hate Cancer.

Short point of view's better than no point of view.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Adalia. They sound like wonderful people, and it's great you have good memories of your friend.

Thank you. I strive to live like them as I age, being old doesn't mean you stop living. I want to attend medieval fairs at 70, I want to see live shows, and dance and sing and continue living and not start dying.

My father just turned 73 and I feel like that's "too young" for me to wrap my head around. You SHOULD be able to have fun at the age of 70.

I dont want to start dying yet!! Mum was telling me the other day that the lifestyle village they live in let's people in at 55...........WTH!!? that's 2.5 years away and I am SO NOT going to go to a village to start my dying process there! Dad calls the village 'Gods Waiting Room'. Thankfully mum and dad are moving out this year, mums tired of all the people around her dying just as she makes friends with them!

I received confirmation yesterday that I am on the Rural Crew Leader course next month; I am over the moon about it, but now I am in two minds whether to tell the trainer who is taking the course about my learning disability.

I am worried that if I do, they will doubt my ability to do the course and not let me complete it *sighs* I guess I have always had these feelings because plenty of people in the past have told me "You can't do it,"

    Yay!
I say let them know cause if you need more time to process info or something, then they know beforehand and can procide options/modifications they otherwise wouldn’t.

    I say this as a teacher :)
