Is a blue groundhog's shadow blue? What if it were... red!? Would that mean eating pig lard in another state would result in the total anihilation of Turky? AHHHHHHH!

    Happy Groundhog's Day!

I have never really got this whole "Groundhog" business.

Could someone explain this to me? :p

While sports fishing off the Florida coast, a tourist capsized his boat. He could swim, but his fear of alligators kept him clinging to the overturned craft. Spotting an old beachcomber standing on the shore, the tourist shouted, "Are there any gators around here?"
"Naw," the man hollered back, "they ain't been around for years!"
Feeling safe, the tourist started swimming leisurely toward the shore.
About halfway there he asked the guy, "How'd you get rid of the gators?"
"We didn't do nothing,'" the beachcomber said.
    "Wow," said the tourist.
The beachcomber added, "The sharks got 'em."

    ;)

the time of judgment is fast approaching. the fate of the JC hangs in the balance. there are many advaseries to face....advocates of oppression, minions of evil. their seige shall be short lived though, my friends. the BYS will sweep these boards clean of their fowl presence. they shall be driven before us like a tattered cloud before the onslaught of a gale.

    it shall be so.

or we could just get drunk.

i will return, after dinner. it tastes like burning.

    Howdy all...

    Wenley asks....

I have never really got this whole "Groundhog" business.

Could someone explain this to me?

Ah...... let me explain yet another American sub-holiday to you....

You see, my freind, Every February 2nd... The Mayor of Puxhatany (Sp), PA gather's the townsfolk down on Courthouse Square. He stands on a big stage with the city council...... and they produce for the townsfolk a burlap sack with a rather angry groundhog in it..... They affectionately call this critter "Phil".... Even though it's a girl groundhog. Anyways, the mayor, who is all dressed up like Belloch in the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, releases the angry critter into the crowd. "Phil" rears up and bears his teeth to the townsfolk and grunts and hisses at them. The first person bitten by "Phil" is automatically disqualified from the festivities and is banished to live in West Virgina for the rest of their life....... But the first person to be able to catch "Phil" with nothing but a hula-hoop and a three-ring binder gets the honor of declaring when the first day of Spring is.

Just ask Padawan915...... he's from Pennsylvania. He can tell you all about it. :)

Friends, I return. San Antonio was not entirely fun, maybe because one of my roomates for the trip was a completely annoying shaak that I wanted to throw out of our 11th floor window. I tried to access the boards through the television but the system would not let me log in. So I was saddened. I actually found my best times during rehersals when I wood goof off with other immature teenage boys, making lewd remarks and rating the size of the choir girls' breasts.

I also almost was arrested this morning, in part due to *her. You see, she threw a knife at me last wednesday and I held onto it for some reason. I put it in my bag. Lo and behold I took this same backpack to San Antonio. Oddly enough, it was not detected on the way there, so I had absolutely no recollection of its existence until this morning. I was brought over to the side, forced to wait for thirty minutes, interrogated for twenty minutes, and then released. And they gave me the knife back. They gave it back. My knife. On the plane. Am I the only one who finds this slightly disturbing? Not only was I unknowingly defeating our 'national security' in the first place, but they also aided me in doing it a second time. Is anyone else scared? I know I was. I read good books though.

And then I come home to found our social situation here in life exploding once again. I never knew I played such an important role in the balance of my high school society. I guess my lack of anything at all was very much missed. So tomorrow I must once again bring balance, and must do most of this by being beaten by several females, yelled at by several females, and utterly hated by several females, even though most of this is for advice I will give them, which after many hours of whining and moaning they will eventually accept, and prosper under, thus claiming full responsibility for the ideas, blaming me for those that were their own, which would have failed miserably. Thus gaining me more beating. I hope I'm sick tomorrow.

To top it all off, my mother threw away half of the things in my room including several books, a piece of a take home test that I have to turn in tomorrow, a story for creative writing, two journals for english, an essay for english and a dagger. And she has forbidden me from watching television for this night, because it is a school night. Even though just a half an hour ago she made me watch a bit of Dragonheart with her. That sickens me. I have to watch Dragonheart but can't watch Sopranos. Good god.

You may be wondering, did anything good happen to this child during his abscence? Well, the answer to that is yes. But not really. I found my pleasure in reading and... reading. So this is what my life has become. Oh how much I missed the Blue Yoda Society whilst I was away with those thick-skulled idiots of my room.

Edit: Wow, the last post was 2 hours ago. The world must have sensed my coming and fled. Excellent.
