Mini Series Official "The Book of Boba Fett" Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

Yeah, hoping "Hammerhead" was a nickname they gave him on set, and that he is in fact an Ithorian. Not Momaw Nadan, though. I've been waiting for an Ithorian to make an appearance in the new era forever. They've always been my favourite species. Here's hoping.

Makes sense, it's a spinoff series after all. Having the main protagonist of the primordial series isnt surprising.

It says Din is gonna appear in TBoBF.

 

I think boba and Din' s story will connect and maybe boba helps Din as new crime boss' finding mandalorians still in hiding underground.

 

That would be more a Boba helping Din plot. but since its a Boba show. it actually should be the other way round.

 

I doubt this is true, but who knows?

 

I think it is likley as Pedro has said he might appear in new shows.

It seems we will have Cobb Vanth, Greef Karga and Miggs Mayfeld in this show and i can see them crossover to this. Either they meet on Tatooine or he goes and meet noe of them on another planet. I think this is safe and likley leak.

 

I think that the Ahsoka show will be the more self contained spin off with it being more of a Rebels 2 while BOBF from the sounds of it sounds more like Mando Season 2.5.

 

I think we might see Din in Ahsoka too with only small cameo, but yeah it is asid that book of boba fett leads right into mandalorian season 3 and makes sense why mandalorian characaters appear in this munis Cobb Vanth as he just make sense.

I really hope the rumour of Cobb vanth, greef and mayfield appearing in the series is true.

Cobb Vanth seems likely given location but I’d rather no Karga or Mayfeld. Karga has gone legit as Administrator of Nevarro and while I love Mayfeld I’d rather new side characters over his inclusion.

 

I have a quick question in case anyone has kept track of this: What are Boba Fett’s motivations at this point in his life?

They were pretty straightforward in the Mandalorian. But more broadly speaking, what is Boba Fett’s relationship to the galaxy? Would it make sense for him to still hold a grudge against the Republic for what happened in his past? I really don’t see him as the type to just use power for the sake of hedonism.

 

We don’t know his motivations because this stage of his life post-Mando S2 hasn’t been written yet...
