    Ah, a teapot, china I hope LOL! You don't know what a scone is? :eek: It's a not overly sweet cake with currants in. They don't even have to be sweet at all - some of them are cheesy with cheese instead of currants. My favs are actually cherry scones, with glazer cherries in :D You eat them with jam and cream - unless they are the cheesy ones of course, which would be pretty bad with jam and cream 8-}

    English, US? LOL! Is Canadian English different than American? Seem to remember seeing theatre being spelt as theatre when I was in Toronto.

    Yeah, Canadian English is slightly different. Like back in Tammy's post, the ways she spells honor, we spell it honour[/]. And color, we spell it colour. Well, I don't, I always spell it the American way. Just different spellings.

    Well, sometimes. My ancestry is so mixed up, I'm just plain Canadian. It includes but is not limited to: English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish, Italian, German and Native American.

    I also got a bit of Scot and some more Irish from my mom's side, but she's 50% french, and dad's 100% french.

    I consider myself an Acadien, even though I can't speak it (but I can understand it :D )

    I was born in Quebec and almost wound up being names Marguerite but then my parents realized it wouldn't sound right with an English last name.
