@harpua they're I guess the kids who represent the millennial future of the site. If we'd been born in an era where our cognitive growth was destroyed by too much "screen time" in our formative years, we'd post the same way.

 

If you think we’re bad, just wait for the 2000’s kids to grow up... Oh god...

 

Well the only way is up then for them, isn't it?

 

A 2000’s kid who was born at the start of the decade is 18 now. So they have already started to grow up.

 

We’re barely scratching the surface. The high school kids are already down in the sewers.

 

Damn 18-year-olds. When I was 18, we had MySpace and Facebook, not Instagram and Snapchat! And we had to go on the internet without smartphones!

When I was 18 we had this

I didn’t get my first phone until I was in high school I believe. It was a Motorola flip phone. Now I’m seeing kids in primary school walking around with the latest iPhones. It’s crazy. I don’t know why they need them. I don’t know what they use them for. But I certainly won’t be letting my kids spend all day with their screens shoved into their faces.

 

I had dial up internet at 18.

Some nights, I wake up in a cold sweat and can still hear the tortuous sound of a modem.

 

When I was 18, I thought Assassins Creed II was spectacular.

Nothing has changed.
