Hey folks, the update is posted, and early thanks to you all posting so quickly. I had Addie's character (now an NPC) decide to stay back so we don't have to use her much here. Figured that was the easiest way to deal with the character without mischaracterizing what was a wonderfully crafted character sheet by Addie. Might even keep her around for a bit as our primary animal minder, watching after the mounts, while we do our acts of derring-do..

 

We'll miss Addie, but life happens. Smart to focus on doing what she's already doing well. If that makes sense. Me, I just read a memoir of a Jewish Partisan in Lithuania... all kinds of interesting things coming out of that!

 

@galactic-vagabond422 and I are working on one, but things are a little busy for both of us, so you'll have to be patient...

 

No worries, I figure this for a "slow burn" RPG.

 

Our three lookouts are getting some monkey wrenches ready.

@Bardan_Jusik, can you describe the sensor net spikes in relation to the pylons? How big are they? Where are they positioned? Are they like a cactus or just at the base? Are they like pigeon spikes?

 

More like a cactus, arrayed all over the pylon. Very much like the pigeon spikes there that you linked to, though not so closely packed as that, but similar in size. There may also be larger sensor "spikes" on the pylons as well, though these would be fewer in number. Really leaving it up to the player's imagination so you two can best describe them and how your characters work their way through them.

It's nice when something is beautiful as well as useful.

 

Okay, sorry, I still owe an update. I'm almost recovered from my long holiday, so I'll try to come up with something.

Meanwhile, I bumped into a very interesting TV series on my local PBS station, Resistance. It's based on the true story of a resistance cell operating out of the Musee des Hommes in Paris. Entirely in French, with subtitles (except for the Germans, who speak German), it was really interesting, and so far, the actions taken are small and fairly simple: passing out fliers, helping downed British airmen to safety, and leaving flowers on WWI memorials. Will be interesting to see where it goes.
