Sigourney just single-handedly made the chances of seeing Pedro on set rise enormously :D
Homeboy is a big fan if I am not mistaken ;)

Yeah the addition of a veteran actress like Weaver definitely adds more credibility (for lack of a better term) to the film.

Mando’s biological ma? Before he can learn to be a father, first he has to learn to be a son.

    Right in the feels.

She would fit the character but technically Mando’s mum has been slaughtered by separatist droids during the battle of Aq Vetina right? When he was then saved by the mandalorians?
Of course they could maybe not be their biological parents but in the flashaback they really looked like it
I really see her as a bounty hunter though, really happy about this casting that’s a great potential for a terrific character!

Plus, his mother from the flashback is not a white lady.

Yep that also does not really fit it…
    … a long lost aunt?
And if she was a Mandalorian and he was her apprentice but then she left the mandos because she did not agree with the rules?
I know it is almost implied that the armorer was the Mando who had Din has an apprentice but it could fit… a lost mother figure who comes back and makes home reflect on the “cult” he is in?
They told him she was dead only she was not and so on?
I am just doing improv here eh :D

I know it might seem too expected, but I'm going to guess that she's an Imperial remnant.

Actually, if she were a whole imperial remnant, that would be quite strange and innovative. I like it.

She could be like a living Death Star.

Maybe she’s the only human Imperial commander on a planet populated entirely by Dark Troopers.

Something weird like that would interest me much more than the usual Imperial scenario.

Plus, you can carve droids up. Although Din no longer has the darksaber (lame). Maybe he can get a new weapon, some other time of sword.

As for Sigourney being the only woman on a planet of droids, the erotic subtext alone would captivate my attention.

I have to say that’s one of the creepier things I’ve read on these forums.

I've seen strange enough things that it barely even caught my attention that it was a little... different... until you replied to it. Ha.

Then again, canonically, I think Lando would like to be the only male on a planet of female coded droids. So. There's... that. I guess.

So, Pedro Pascal was spotted checking out of his hotel in NY and rumored to be finished whit the shooting of Celine Song’s “The Materialists”…
… speculations are that he is either headed north on the set of The Last of Us to shoot some more probably
some flashback set post golfing scene or some more of that
    or either…
… headed to the Mandalorian and Grogu set!
    [face_thinking]
    what do you think?
Dumb question where are the sets located assuming they are shooting mostly in the volume? Or maybe not? Just to see if he pops up on my feed in a coherent airport [face_thinking]
Ps. Or he is just going home to chill but I doubt has time to

He has already filmed quite some and there was speculation whether he was finished… this postmeans the show is in production and these are pictures of them in it if I understand correctly not that he went back on set to film… when he left for materialists they denied he was already done but I mean
if they stick to the source materials and don’t stretch it out there is not a lot for him to film after the golfing scene maybe some flashbacks? Rumors are he is in only few episodes and that they deny he is done to not spoil the plot to the masses… the show is in production and Bella is on set but they possibly don’t need him anymore?
So unless it says Pedro Pascal currently on set filming or he is seen there there is a chance he is headed for Grogu right?

Ahaha yeah but I think they start filming in late July in London not earlier right? Or I am mistaken?
Edit: realized that as he cut his hair it is improbable he is going back to TLOU… but Eddington started filming again in Albuquerque I think so maybe he went there… I keep my fingers crossed for Mando & Grogu though! Until late July we have some room to fit some scenes!

Yeah I don’t think Pedro will be on set much, due to F4. I think we will only see his face for one scene in this movie, maybe two.

I mean F4 starts in late July the Mando movie now so maybe there is room for some More? Wishful thinking from someone who wants character development for Din Djarin…

Filming for Mando&Grogu officially starts in the beginning of June, right? So now exactly “now,” but soon, yeah.

Also there can still be character development without too much face reveal, me thinks, but I guess it depends on exactly what story they plan to tell here.

I was convinced I had heard they were starting earlier in May instead of in June and I had thought maybe it was due to Pedro being free? But I have no source!
I agree about the character development but IMO it would be needed for Din to realize and address that Children of the watch are basically a cult and that some of his friends have a questionable past in Death Watch and that even if it makes perfect sense for mandalorians to hide their identity when they are strolling around unknown people and wearing a helmet also contributes to leave the rest of the world in doubt about your numbers (if you see a helmeted Mando at the time you will never know how many of them are there, is it always the same are they more, are they 1 or 100? This is pretty effective in protecting your covert) and lets you always have a secure runaway because nobody knows your face so if you are cornered/desperate you ditch helmet and armor and just mix in to the masses and nobody will recognize you…
… it does not make any sense to keep an helmet on in front of your kid or your spouse when you are alone and child rearing with a beskar steel mask on could probably cause severe psychological trauma in kids (there are old psychological researches about tending to kids with horrible masks on, did not end well for the kids and of course these kind of resarch are not allowed anymore in the field because they were deeply damaging).
Therefore imo Din needs to realize that even if there are positive traits in the social group he comes from that prevented them from being slaughtered like the others and make sense from a battle/war/strategy point of view, their views are extreme and their way of enforcing them are those of a cult and it needs to change or be addressed.
This kind of developments would need Mando to take his helmet off when he is alone with Grogu at least and I would rather say also with a restrict group of people around him like Bo, Boba and Ahsoka?
But it is my view on that nothing more!

So Pedro Pascal spotted in Los Angeles in full “green juice” mode (therefore probably not relaxing but working) fingers crossed he is there for Mando and Grogu? Or where are the studios? I am ignorant on the matter

You also have to keep in mind that Mando and Grogu will likely film for at least four months. Pedro wont be needed in every scene, nor will he be needed in every scene for Fantastic Four. He can easily bounce between productions at a moment's notice without us ever knowing, unless airport stalkers keep good enough tabs. They're both disney productions. If the story wants Din's face, it'll have it.
