You may, although I would highly recommend that you don't.

Because if you are hit by somebody who is also from your same group, you will still be alive - they are the one who is then eliminated.

 

That's correct. Although, it just dawned on me... everyone else would still know that somebody was under that number... and then whoever was up next would probably take that person out the next turn, aye...?

 

No, no number is ever to be chosen again.

But I did just think of a solution. If it ever occurs, than the player who was chosen exchanges their holocron number with whoever picked them and was part of their group. Example: if //1\\ picked //2\\ and they were both Jedi, than the Jedi in //2\\ can simply replace the #1 holocron. (As everybody else would not know what number the choosing player had.)

I hope that makes sense.
