Hey guys, Friendship shows us who we really are.

A peace conference between Separatists and Republic delegates is interrupted by Lux Bonteri, the son of a late Separatist Senator, who involves Ahsoka in his dangerous search to find justice for his mother's death.

Check out this hilarious quote for Dooku: Lux Bonteri longs for vengeance against Count Dooku, who callously had Mina Bonteri murdered to advance his agenda of warfare against the Republic. But the Count, however, is hard to find, often communicating to his lackeys only by hologram from a distance.

 

Discussion Thread is up a bit early this week, it seems. Isn't it normally posted up on Wednesday-ish?

EDIT: Wow, even the Episode Guide acknowledges the "Dooku Hologram" cliche

All in all, I'm dissapointed. I had hoped it was Palpatine under the guise of the Supreme Chancellor who had Mina killed. But nope, it's them rotten evil Separatists. So much for there being good Separatists, what with them ether dead or betrayed.

 

Hey, Kersh Kuchi is still alive.

Considering where the peace talks are being held, this episode was a missed opportunity for Kuchi...

 

So Katee Sackhoff's character is named "Bo-Katan"? Sounds like Bo-Katana or something.

....although maybe it's a subtle nod to Starbuck in the "Bo-k" part.

 

Such a lousy name for a character, and a female name. But it's TCW and it's not known for acceptable character names.

 

It's a ridiculous name, but it can't touch Morallo Eval.

Compare those names to TCW's, and I'd take the former names any day.

 

That conference looks awkward without a table between the Republic and CIS senators.

 

What's really weird is that they've got the "evil aliens" on the dark half of the room and the "benevolent humans" on the bright half.

It's just... bah. Politics at its worst.

 

I actually think 'Skywalker' is a genius name.

Apart from Darth Vader, I think the Sith have really lame names. Sidious, Tyranus, Bane, Maul, Plagueis.... uggggh

 

Seriously wouldn't it be funny if one of those senators got up and tripped over the edge of that recessed thing in the middle of the floor and busted his or her ass?

 

OOooo yeah, followed by a nice little rimshot. I see it before me now.

I do hope they don't spend too much time in the episode on these peace talks (I'm assuming?) because everyone knows exactly how they're gonna turn out.

What is the point of including them? It's not like there's going to be any tension or suspense. If they're trying to write new canon for the timeline I guarantee they'll give it a crap name that looks out of place next to everything else around it. Seriously just give us 22 minutes of Mandos vs Jedi, at least that can keep people in their seats instead of reaching for the eye gougers or sickbuckets.

I hope Katee Sackhoff's character says the word "frak" once.

Not only would it be a nice nod to her previous work, but it would also have a place in the star wars universe, because the word "frak" does in fact exist as a swear word in the GFFA.

Of course we all know what "frak" is a substite for....but if they can show murder in this show....then i hope the word can be used once.

 

Frak would be great, but we all know we'll get poodoo.
