We all know how pessimistic you are GG and yes I understand everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that with most people but constantly saying how much you dislike it and stuff like that gets really old after a while. I'm not trying to bait you or start anything I just wanted to get that off my chest.

It's ok, I got use to it. :p

After seeing Brothers, I just don't care for where they're going with Maul.

Guys, look at that picture of Maul. Check out his horns. They're not like they were in Brothers, a lot longer than in Ep. I and with some of them cut off. In that picture, his horns are short like in Ep. I. I think this goes well with my prediction that Darth Maul is going to give Savage Opress some back-story. That planet also doesn't look like the junk planet. There's a fire pit in the background, but check out that huge temple and what looks like weird vegetation on the side, and there's no reddish dust-haze. Is this Darth Sidious giving Darth Maul his first lightsaber?

If you're referring to the lightsaber, that's Obi-Wan's lightsaber.

After last week's trainwreck, the only reason I'm gonna watch this is to give another play by play analysis rant.

Not to seem rude or anything but can't you tell that that's Obi-wan's lightsaber?

[face_worried] Didn't look that closely. Okay, so definitely a flashback then. This is looking good.

Probably not a flashback. All previews point to Maul wielding a lightsabre on a planet where he torches a village to draw out Obi-Wan.

So did his horns shrink (and the cut-off ones regrow) or what?

Haha, you guys know me too well. Truth is, I didn't have the will-power to change the channel after Brothers and skip the trailer for this. That's why I'm allowing myself to read and post in this thread before the episode comes out. I don't remember them saying anything about Darth Maul's horns in the trailer, I just remember it being mostly action shots and seeing an alternate biped robo-legs Maul. They talked about his horns in the trailer?!?!

That's not a flashback per the clip. Maul and Randy beating Obi-Wan up.

Heh. Going by the trailer, it looks like a couple of thuggish Zabrak kids beating up a human kid with a beard. :p

No, it's not a flashback since it isn't even Obi-Wan's lightsaber from TPM or AotC. Maul will probably be healed a bit by Talzin. At least that's what I always assumed ever since we saw footage of Maul in the series.

You know, regardless of how different Ventress and Obiwan are from each other.....they do share something in common. The fact that they both experienced the death of their masters.

And because the writers seem to be making Ventress more of an anti-villan (look up the def. if you don't know what it means)....i wouldn't be surprised if Ventress finds out that Maul killed Obiwan's master, and then she has a little sympathy for Obiwan (kinda like she had with the girl in "bounty").
