This is only tangentially related, but I’ve been reading Lawrence Wright’s book on Scientology alongside The Silmarillion and I am kicking myself for not thinking of Elrond Hubbard as a username.

Not as classic as Narnia and Middle Earth, but I don’t know it Netflix is still doing the Avatar: The Last Airbender live action adaptation.

I’d be interested in the other two as well, but I’m hugely hyped for the Percy Jackson series.


I still think a Silver Chair/Last Battle movie could happen with Liam Neeson as Aslan. Eustace would probably be recast.

Silver Chair is my second favorote Chronicle of Narnia. I would love to see it, especially the Lady of the Green Kirtle who should be played by Eva Green.

Vesper was a memorable character in the Bond franchise for sure.

Director’s Cut is vastly different from the Theatrical Cut, and not just on the runtime:

Theatrical: 2hrs and 24mins
Director’s: 3hrs and 14mins

 

I'm assuming you want me to watch the Director's.

i feel like Eva should be bigger than she is, although i guess she does get a lot of parts.

 

That’s up to you, I prefer the Theatrical Cut myself. The only scene I wish was added from director’s cut is Balian de Ibelin versus Guy of Lusignan in the streets of Jerusalem; it is one of the best realistic sword fights in cinema.
