Vader is really scary, you are doing a great job portraying him. I'm so afraid for your OC; I hope there's going to be some kind of happy ending for her. I can't believe Bail and Obi-Wan are gone. I hope that they somehow got out of there at the last minute.

 

Normally I wouldn't say this, since Obi-Wan and Bail were killed, but that was sort of cool...from a dark side perspective.

Poor Aria... Vader had gone quite sadistic there. The scene was so disturbing, Vader's good looks making it even more sick and disurbing than it was. Translation: disturbing means that your descriptions were beyond amazing!

I wonder what her mother is thinking about it, and her father for that matter.

Obi-Wan and Bail disappearing? Oh my, that couldn't mean anything good! I refuse to believe that they're dead. I shall bask hope for them. And nothing will stop me.

Though, I do hope that somehow they are saved...

And if not, that's not sooo tragic either, on the other hand.

Vader is so creepy, so sadistic and full of himself. That's why I love him, of course. And your portrayal of him is flawless.

Chapter Six: Aria?s Ultimatum

Aria did not recall having screamed or bursting into tears, but her cheeks were soaked with the salty liquid when Vader furiously whirled her around to face him.

?And don?t you forget it, my pet,? he sneered.

The Sith then turned his attention towards a stern-looking officer waiting a few steps away for further orders. ?Escort Lady Jy?tari to my quarters so she can ready herself.?

The tears rolling from her eyes quickly turned to ones of shame.

As the captain led her away, Aria looked back over her shoulder to find that the Dark Lord was smiling with perverse pleasure at her.

Out of sure fear, the escort seemed unwilling to even do so much as lift his eyes from the ground to look at her, for he was startled when she actually spoke.

?And what is your name??

Surprised, he fairly gaped at her. ?Captain Piett at your service, my Lady.? That said, he dropped her a swift bow though it seemed that he wasn?t comfortable with doing so.

?I know what everyone thinks of me- and believe me, I feel the same way about myself and? and my station here,? she confessed nervously, wondering just how much of this conversation would be repeated to him. When they reached what were to be her new quarters, the young woman gazed dully at the large canopy bed. For a minute, it seemed that she wished to speak but was incapable of doing so. ?Do you have any children, Captain??

Though the man had realized that he was in grave danger by merely speaking to his leader?s mistress, Piett looked her in the eyes and said in a restricted voice, ?Yes? a son.?

Trying to dry her tears, Aria turned her back to him and walked over to the bed, sadly trailing a finger along the pattern of the soft sheets. ?How would you feel if you had a daughter- and she was forced to go through what I am??

Arms tight at his sides, Piett was obviously not liking the direction their conversation was taking. ?I?d much rather die than her be put to shame.?

?And would you blame your daughter for trying to flee said circumstances??

He thought carefully before answering. ?I would do everything in my power to assist her. My Lady, we might be Im

 

Gulping, she could only nod her head. ?I will not give you leave to do so until you?ve made me your wife.?

She certainly is brave, but I fear that she's going to pay for this rebellion. I like that you included Piett in this; I hope that he will become an ally of hers. Great chapter!

 

Wow! Aria's move was a brave one. I wonder how Vader will react...He won't be happy, I'm sure, but yet - Aria has her right to demand integrity until marriage. How could Vader know her customs? He just seems to wait until he gets hurting her, that's what I'm afraid of.

Great chapter, I'm looking forward to read more. And I'm fine with Obi's and Bail's death - it's sad, but a cool twist to this story. I won't be here so soon next week - I guess you know where I am...But I'll come here as soon as I have returned. Take care!

I can't blame her for losing her temper. She's had quite an unfortunate day - and I have to say, she's faring much better than I would be under the same circumstances.

Nice cliffie - can't wait to see how Vader is going to react to THAT. Oooooh boy...

This brings up a lot of questions on both sides. It's an honorable idea of Aria's but I wonder about Vader's feelings as he has already been married and it obviously didn't work out well in this AU.

OMG! She has a lot of guts. Unfortunately, I have a feeling this burst of confidence and bravery will come back to haunt her.

 

*shakes her head sadly* Aria's flight of temper, her discussion with Piett - I keep thinking she's going to throw something at Vader about being a slave - and it'll make him crack. And then she gives an ultimatum.

Brave, but foolish at the same time. I don't think she realizes just how much trouble she's in... *sighs*

I do like her as a character though - and I hope she and Piett can become friends

Hmmm... I'm not sure that was such a good ultimatum given the way Vader's last marriage ended. Even if that is not part of this story, his temperment alone might make me think twice about that one. Of course, I'm glad she had the guts to speak up for herself.

Vader is deliciously bad here, though. I don't know whether to love him or hate him. I think I'll just drool from a distance.

I think Aria is trying to make the best out of a horrible situation.

As Vader's wife she'll have the protection of his name and "Lady Vader" sounds a lot better than "Vader's Whore".


(That last line made me think of that song by Meatloaf. I forgot the song title but I know the word paradise was in it...)

 

Yikes! I was sweating through that (meybe it's 'cos Melbourne's like tatooine right now). Makes me think what Vader's next move will be

 

If my younger sister told me she wanted to marry someone like Darth Vader, I'd faint first, and then drag her by her ears to... wherever she'd least wanted to be. Unfortunately, I can't do the same to Aria. Though, I have to admit, that considering Vader's intentions, she'd better be Lady Vader than his... pet. The girl has bravery!
