Karson strolled into the Cantina. He looked around and took a seat at the bar, waiting for something to happen.

 

Slade spent his time cleaning up and readying the cantina, He sees the fellow Mandalorian and nods sliding him Tihaar( a Mandalorian equivelent to vodka) and taps his beskar'gam, showing he was part of Clan Morningstar, a clan who Fought in deathwatch and was killed down to the man...he was the last man standing from his clan, he had his Amban Disrupter rifle nearby, always wore his customized suit of Beskar'gam,

Karson happily accepted and Tihaar and removed his helmet to take a sip.

''A fellow Death Watch member I see. My name Karson Wren, and yours?''

 

The man smiles under his helmet "They call me Slade, last of the clan Morningstar" he smiles as he had been marked for death by saxton, his clan being all force-sensitives, sadly all but he and a ancestor of his Used really embraced the force, others used it sparingly, but he embraced it" tell me, how is clan wren, still killing saxtons?"

 

IC: Lord (Lady) Hekate

Hekate had heard the new Sith peon ran a bar in his spare time, she wasn't expecting a lively joint about an hour's commute from the Sith Temple. She could hear the music blaring from the speakers as she entered. The decibel level was a bit too high for her comfort, so she used the Force to dampen it by about 40 points, to the much more acceptable level of 75 decibel units. She was wearing her Sith training suit, as today she had been sparring with the fifth and sixth graders from the Sith Creche.

Making her way into the foyer, she began wondering what the menu was like.

 

Karson smiled and sipped.

''Well, The Empire's been putting their Dank Ferriked boot on the neck of mandalore, but we've been starting to fight back. Tiber Saxon is the new viceroy but that will hopefully change soon.''

 

Hekate was perusing the menu, and right now she could use a drink. A (virgin) strawberry daquiri would taste fantastic right about now. Not to mention, chips with queso and frijoles negros. YUM! Managing to wave down a waitstaff droid, she requested the order. As the droid rolled away to fill her order, she finally took notice of the Mandalorian speaking with the proprietor. Not a fan of Tiber Saxon, it appeared.

 

The beskar'gam Cland Owner looks at @Nehru_Amidala "welcome lady hekate, come enjoy some tihaar and settle in, i have a few droids I rewired playing music and i currently am bartending" he has the chief droid make the meal and servers take it to you, all the droids here would have been scrap but he repaired them and turned them into his workers, security is made up of Custom droids looking to blend the magnaguard, and other droids, the Owner smiles and says " enjoy, we will have a contest in a bit, a fighter may enter the arena in the center of the Cantina and fight to earn fame and credits" he smiles as the current creatures on the docket include a nexu, a acklay and a rancor, he turns to his fellow mando and says " Soon the winds of change shall come and blow those too stubborn to flow with it away" he says cleaning a blood stain from a previously rowdy patron who learned why he keeps a shotgun

 

OOC: What is tihaar? Is that like tahini?

The droid arrived a few minutes later, laden with a blue glass with a handle shaped like a cactus. The corn chips were spread out generously over the preheated blue Fiesta-ware plate, and served along side the queso and black beans. Using the Force, Hekate mixed the beans into the melted Velveeta and Rotel concoction, and soon the dip was complete.

Scooping the chip into the dip, she took a bite. "Okay, now that's comfort food."

 

The owner comes and see lady hekate, and goes to see if she needs anything" need anything ma'am? He says hoping she enjoys the cantina and becomes a regular, the beskar'gam clad owner was armed, it was hidden but they were there, he keeps a eye on his other patrons, most seem to be having fun, one rowdy group is dealt with by a custom security Droid, via The old Shock and toss

Ooc: Each security droid is about 7ft, equipped with their Custom Staves and other weapons and equipment, they have a. Pseudo-Neo Crusader look, but are a bit larger, imagine fighting a droid Built out of Cortosis and Specially treated Durasteel

Are equipped very much similar to that of a Mandalorian, wristmounted weapons, tactical and effective gear, but bear the weakness of their A.I are as Psycho as their creator, with tendencies to "subdue" foes until unconscious

 

The appetizer was delicious! It was a real shame the cooking slaves back at the Sith Temple couldn't cook decent Tex-Mex. Glancing at the menu, she was disappointed to see there was no chili rellenos on the menu. How could there not be chili rellenos casserole on a menu? Did they at least have brisket tacos? No. Burritos? Forget it. Tapas? No way.

"Hey Skorge! What's with the menu? There's no chili rellenos!"

 

He claps his hands and a droid brings out Chile rellenos " I apologize my lady, these are on the house" he says bowing to her slightly before turning and gesturing for the security droids to get rid of that rowdy group in the corner who broke a table, within 5 seconds all of them are either unconscious or fleeing out the door

Ooc: here in texas there is this one place with the best rellenos ever, they scorch your mouth tho

 

Karson started to feel hungry.

''Hey Slade, you got any Yobshrimp Noodles?''

 

OOC: I lived in Dallas when I was a little girl, and the food! Oh, the food! Mia's was the BEST! All away around the best, and Mi Cocina will be a close second. As far as chains go, Uncle Julio's has the best tacos, and On the Border has the best rellenos. Up where I am now, it's more Central American food. Pretty good, but not the same.

The smell of the food hit Hekate's nose, and did it smell delicious! The beef marinated with onions, bell peppers and tomatillos, the bite of the chilli peppers, the crema sauce. Mouthwatering! It took a bit of self-control to go all in, so Hekate used her fork and knife to dissect the delicacy. "This is delicious."

 

He nod " i can have the chief custom make them for you" he Has a waiterdroid come take your order as he handles business in the cantina, he walks over and pats karson @clone commander bossk, "Hey would you happen to be looking for work, I need someone to manage the place when i am out, sith stuff, I pay 20 creds a hour, and you get free room and board" he say hoping to have help that isn't one of his droids...they get to killy for his liking

OOC: imagine that his own droids tend to get to murder-happy sometimes and so he has to keep a close eye on them, the pay off for that is they are very skilled programmed to operate very Effectively

 

Karson considered the offer.

''I'll take it for now but I won't always be available. You know fighting the oppresive rule of the empire and that.''

 

Hekate turned around to look at the Mando. "Noodles? Seriously? It's called either paella or fidello." Mandalorians- what idiots!

 

The owner stops and has to stop himself from getting defensive, he walks over and says " ma'am is there a problem?" He says being certain that if he does something stupid he won't make Apprentice, he must deal with this... Diplomatically
