An ear-splitting whistle broke the silence that soon followed after the other 2 entered the cave. A dim light shone from a small entrance, this was it. His crystal was somewhere inside of that small crack. What he would have to go through he did not know, his master Semajj told him that what ever was in there would challenge him and test him like no other. As Diric edged closer to the cave he could see the his first challenge, He hated tight spaces and the entrance was 30 odd centimetres wide "great I love tiny spaces" Diric bent down and crawled into the crack his arms outstretched in order to prevent him from getting stuck. His hands breached the crack and he just about managed to pull himself out. He pulled himself out halfway but something stopped him. "Great! why didnt I chose the ones with big doors?" He pulled and pulled but it was no use. He had to get back out and try again.

He clawed at the ice but nothing happened. He placed his hand on the frigid ice and he closed his eyes. 'Crack!' The ice fractured and broke into a million pieces. "Hope I dont have to pay for damage!" Diric said with a smile. :p He crawled through the gap and stood in awe at the caves. It stood 10 meters tall and 5 meters wide. It was beautiful to think such a beautiful formation was formed by nature. This was it.

As the Masters followed Goulden and the others into the caverns, Semajj reached out with the force and felt the shining beacon that was the Crystals deep in the depths of the planet. As that was brought into focus, a new thought came into his mind: this cavern connected to the depths of the Cystal Caves the Jedi used to collect their Cystals. The realization intrigued the Ongree, they had effectively bypassed the Temple and gone straight to the last part of their journey. While that hadn't been his intention, it made sense that the Force was guiding their actions, and that test was pushing them along now.
Eventually they came out into a small cavern that was divided into three paths', the apprentices did not hesitate, using their connection to trudge along to find the lost and delirious Jedi they all sensed deep in the labyrinth.

The Masters maintained a cautious distance, observing their pupils with a curiousity and determination to let them learn on their own. Not long after the Padawan's disappeared around a corner a rumble was heard, and the ceiling above them collapsed. Semajj dashed forward on instinct, but sensed the young Jedi were fine. "I guess the force decided it was in our interest to go separate ways." He turned back to the other master's to realize Mira had vanished as well. "Keep an eye out for the Paddies." He asked the only remaining Jedi with him, Adalia. "When they return direct them to the Jedi Temple. There we can find food, water and the parts to build their lightsaber. I'm going to go ahead and get things prepared." With that said he passed through a crack in the wall on the right, and trusting his instincts he followed the rocky path that would take him to the Temple.

Still concerned about the injured woman, she wondered if others were focused on this or elsewhere. This was not part of the original plan to have someone, a Jedi at that, injured on this world. Standing in the entrance of the cave, confident that her Padawan and at least one of the others were on the right path. Closing her eyes she focused, listening to the Force and the Padawans. "Keep going." she whispered.

OOC: Oops sorry about that master my bad!

    IC: Diric

The floor of the caverns was paved with a thick layer of slushy snow that submerged his boots. Smoke poured out of his mouth as he exhaled and breathed in gazing in awe at the ice structures. He ran towards one of the closest walls and placed his hand on it. As he walked forwards his hand lightly brushed the wall feeling each imperfection, each fracture each tiny crack. A smile lit up on Dirics face, Possibly this could have been the exact place where many great Jedi once started their journeys. He could be standing in the exact space where his Master Semajj once stood when he was completing his training. A feeling of warmth engulfed him like a hug, although he was alone in this cave he was not alone; he had Adalia, Mira, Hawke all of his fellow Padawans but most importantly He had his master, Semajj. The feeling of not being alone comforted him, He was going to need it for the challenges the caves would provide.

Diric continued to walk for several miles climbing and clambering over small walls and pieces of broken ice however suddenly he came to a stop. A junction. Which side should he go, should he go left or should he go right? There was only one way to solve the problem. Eeny miney miney mo! Just kidding :p He stretched out his hand and closed his eyes as he knelt on his knees. "I'm one with the force and the force is with me, I'm one with the force and the force is with me" His mind darkened until all he could see was a shining blue light emitting from one of the tunnels. "Bingo!" He stumbled forwards as he got up, coating his Jedi robes is a thin dusting of snow. He looked around glad to see no one was there to witness his clumsiness then he walked forwards into the second tunnel. The sides of the tunnel broke away as he ventured deeper into the cave until the path was just a singular thin beam elevated high up in the sky. Diric didn't know what was down there nor did he want to go find out.

With shaking feet Diric stepped onto the beam, one foot in front of the other, He was afraid of heights. As he got past the halfway mark, the faint sounds of cracking emerged. Diric cursed his luck. The cracks were getting louder, and his pace quickened. His heart was pounding; striking the rib cage with every breath. The cracks were visible now. The only thing left to do was jump. The ice bridge shattered into a million pieces with a loud crack. His body slammed against the ledge breaking some of his ribs, Diric screamed out in agony. He clawed at the surface to help him climb up. There was no grip. He fell almost in slow motion. 'Thud!' Diric landed on a small ledge 5 meters down from the ledge. 5 meters from his crystal. A faint whisper came from the base of the cave "Keep going" someone said. Her voice sounded almost sinister in the cave as it bounced off the walls echoing. "Kinda hard to do that at the moment"

Standing quietly and allowing the Force to flow around here she got a feeling this wasn't a mission for the young ones, something told her if the wounded Jedi were to be found, it was up to her. Opening her eyes she drew a deep calming breath and reached out in the Force before entering the cave. "Hold on, I'm coming." She muttered.

As Semajj progressed further into the caverns, and the distance between himself and his companions grew, he felt a greater weight on his consciousness. The number of crystals in the caves were beyond uncountable, each waiting for a Jedi to connect with, each influenced by the force to challenge that Jedi in ways that define their future in the Force. The Jedi Master had not come here to find a crystal of his own, he already had a lightsaber and the memories of creating it still influenced his actions to this day. Even so, the mystical nature of Illums beating heart, a presence in the force like few others, tempted him to search deeper. He would not abandon the path he was on, he had a purpose here, one that did not necessitate the collection of another crystal he had no use for at this time. Yet, for every corner he turned the thick air that surrounded him seemed to be playing tricks on his mind: an echoing moan from a creature that did not exist, a cracked ledge that seemed far more fragile than it truly was, an unnatural gust of wind coming from just behind him, and even stampeding series of footsteps at the edge of his hearing.

The Jedi Master was able to use his years of training to maintain focus.
He leaped over a large gap with far greater ease than he had descended the cliff earlier that day.
He slid across an icy patch without so much as wobbling on his feet.
He climbed over a large rocky outcrop, each finger a fishhook that would not let him fall.
He Delicately worked his way across a large icy beam overlooking a bottomless drop that would surely spell doom even for a Jedi of his rank if he had been any less careful.

Finally, as the Ongree passed under a pair of arches, he noticed the jagged edges of the cave began to look more ornate, more unnatural, more man made. He was approaching the Temple. He passed a pair of murals that depicted a small group of younglings constructing their lightsaber under the watchful eye of a master, he saw a large series of support pillars holding the roof up over his head, and lastly, he saw the gaping opening that was the entrance to the temple. Once blocked by an icy waterfall, that feature had been removed by the Empire when it pillaged this world after the Second Jedi Purge. More recent generations had performed repairs to the structure, though something told Semajj its current glory paled in comparison to how it looked during the Height of the Old Order.

Quickly he moved over to the various supply crates they stored at the edge of the chamber. Rummaging through them he located various dry food rations, and a heat generator they could use to melt ice and purify water. He set those items on a bench nearby for the Padwans to grab when they arrived. He also tore open one cream flavored packet for himself. Next, he pulled out a pair of drawers containing parts, he took a seat and began to sort through the various components: Pairing emitter matrixes, power cells, hand grips and others as he found them.

While there were hundreds of different devices and metals stored in these boxes, and at least millions of unique lightsaber variations, Semajj started with the most common choices and figured if their Padawan's wanted something more varied they could find what they wanted in one of the other crates. After finishing a grouping of power field conductors the Master took a moment to snack, but as he swallowed the dry powder a noise was heard in the distance.
He wasn't expecting either his fellow Master's or the Padawan's to arrive so soon, but it wasn't the unusualness of the timing the put Semajj on edge. Curiously, he didn't sense any life signs in the immediate area.

Could it be another trick of the mind?
No, he was above ground, away from the vision inducing vergence that was the caverns below. If someone else was here, they were masking their presence in the force.
Standing up, the Ongree pulled his lightsaber hilt off his belt and searched more closely. The large chamber in front of him was empty, except for himself and the supplies scattered around his immediate area. In the force, the light burned brightly, and nothing seemed out of place.
    Footsteps again.
    Coming from?

The Master turned to the cave entrance.
Whatever was here, it was no Jedi.

Mira gave her companions a nod. Something was ahead, but the force was telling her it wasn´t for her to interfere, at least not yet. It wasn´t that she always listened to the force. Quite on the contrary would her stubborn mind somethimes overwrite her feelings and lead her on its course. But now and here she knew that the force was guiding her towards her goal, her very own lightsaber crystal. Finally, after so many years.

She still remembered how she had gotten her old saber, she and Asajj had discovered it on the black market, a relic of a bygone era to be sold amongst criminals. The blue blade had been a trusty companion during her training and her first years as a Jedi, but something was... off about it and would always be. It wasn´t her blade but that of someone else. After she had joined the Jedi order Mira had looked through the archives to determine who the blades original owner had been, but it seemed that this information had been amongst those purged by the Jedi in the final hours of the old Temple, as they had desperatley tried to prevent as much knowledge as they could from falling into the hands of the Sith. So it had remained a mystery, but Mira had decided to leave the lightsaber behind in the icy caverns of Ilium as a tribute to the Jedi who had once owned it.

"Leaving you here," she muttered to the other Jedi and gave Jira a long glance. She had informed her padawan before that she would leave to seek for her own crystal. This was a Path every Jedi had to walk alone.

She turned around and began moving through a dark tunnel from which she could hear the call of the force. At first it was large enough for her to walk in it with no problems the tunnel soon became smaller, first forcing her to move foreward hunched over, than she had to get onto her knees and start crawling through the small shaft. The cold was around her, but she barely noticed it as she began to sweat. Having a fear of enclosed spaces since her childhood Mira felt how fear rose inside of her and her heart started to beat faster and faster.

The way ahead became even smaller with every inch she moved, now barely being able to squeeze herself through the tunnel. A part of her wanted to turn around, to try her best to leave. To give up on the crystal, if she just got out of this nightmare. But she continued, fighting down her own fear and pushing ahead. Other Jedi had told her that this place would throw obstacles in her way.

She wasn´t sure how long she was following the tunnel but it felt like an eternity to her when she could finally see light at its end. Squeezing herself through the small opening she noticed a pit below, but by now her desire to get out of the hole overuled all other considerations and so she jumped into the darkness, using the force to slow down her fall and stablizie her flight. Landing on a small pile of snow inside a larger cavern.

"So you are finally here," a voice called over to her and Mira looked up. Four figures appraoched her.

One of them wore a simple black and white maids uniform, the woman next to her the traditional red grab of a nightsister, the third was clad in a long and clearly expensive dress, while the final one well her revealing, black clothing showcased what her ignited red lightsaber confirmed a second later. But that wasn´t the thing that made Mira shiver. No, it was the fact that all four of these women... were her. Despite having different hairstyles and expressions each of them looked at her with the same blue eyes she saw in the mirror every day...

Not knowing where he was going as he couldn’t see a thing, Hawke ventured into the caves to find his crystal. All he had to rely on was the force. But where was it taking him? Hawke had no idea what he was going to endure. As he was itching himself closer which seemed an eternity as he walked slowly, he took a step and pieces of a small cliff fell below. “PHEW!” Almost went down there, Hawke said to himself. Hawke wasn’t afraid of too many things except heights and motion sickness. Heights was the biggest. As he can feel the force telling him he has to go down, Hawke started to sweat and breathing heavy. This was like the cliff they had to climb down to get to the caves, atleast he was able to see the bottom. No, he can’t see the bottom here, pitch black. How far down? Hawke had no clue. Throwing things off the edge to see how high he was? That was not an option. He couldn’t hear the bottom. How far down? Hawke said to himself. Taking a deep breathe, Hawke threw down his rope he had and fastening himself to it and started to inch himself down.

Pain coursed through his body. He had broken multiple ribs and his middle finger, "Great, I've gone and broken some stuff and now I have to climb 5 meters with one working hand, Great just Great!" He searched through his bag and took out multiple items: a long coil of rope, his multitool and a stim. He undid his Robe leaving his chest exposed to the frigid coldness inside the cave. He examined his rib cage, a large bruise was forming on the lower left side, he prodded at the bruise and a large wave of pain and nausea flooded his neurological systems. "Ouch, at least I got some Stim to reduce the pain" He injected the serum into his Jugular vein and soon felt the pain drift away. He wasted no time in trying to get out of his little ledge, he unfolded his multitool leaving a blade at each end poking down at 40 degrees, "if it works, it works" he tied a cow hitch knot to the centre of the makeshift grapple device and pulled it down tight. He lobbed the rope over the cliff edge and felt it dig in. He gave a sharp pull to test its weight. The line became slack. A large snow boulder came crashing down the side of the cliff taking a large chunk off of the platform. He tried again but this time he felt it latch to a large rock. Slowly he climbed up the side of the cliff, each step closer to home and closer to his crystal. A hand clawed at the top of the cliff, its middle finger bent askew, broken. Diric hauled himself up onto the safety of the cliff. He unhooked the multitool and kissed it, a way of saying thank you for saving my life. He wasted no time in continuing his search to find his very own crystal. A large cave appeared as he stumbled in hurting from the fall. The path soon began descending and the whistling grew nearer. Hours passed yet he still walked, when Diric sets his mind to doing stuff he does it quickly and effectively. An eternity passed and Diric finally came to a break in the path. It was a river and on the other end of it was his crystal. The whistling deafened him and the light emitting from it blinded him. He touched the water, It was cold. This would be his final test. A test of Patience.

Mira knelt in front of the four other women, refusing to even look up to them. "This is an illusion, nothing but an illusion." She muttered to herself. She wouldn´t play this game, she wouldn´t let herself be told lies about who she was or could have been. But at the same time her curiosity was growing stronger and stronger, she wanted to know. No she needed to know. Had she tought about this herself? Of course she had and even know as she tried to ignore them her mind was already coming up with theories on how each of these Miras had ended up where they had.

Eventually her resistance broke and she looked up again. "Let me guess," she told the Sith version of herself. "Ventress killed Anakin on Yarvin?" She tried to keep her voice confident.

The other Mira grinned, she wore her hair long and open, her skin even more pale than of the others. "She did, and later Dooku, becoming a proper Sith. Eventually she and I teamed up against her new master tough. And as she savored her moment of triumph I brought her down as well. The Galaxy is mine..."

Ruling the galaxy... was there any kid that didn´t have this naive dream at one point or another? Mira sure had. For a moment this vision appeared before her, an Empire without war or oppression, where everyone was equal, where free love reigned and cheeseburgers were the national dish. The notion alone made her grin. But looking up again she knew this wasn´t her way, and would never be.

"Is that so Great Empress?" she asked. "Then if you are so powerfull, why do you run around in little more than your bra and panties?" She gave the vision a twinkle, it was just too ridicolous to be taken seriously. "Tell me, what did betraying your friends actually earn you? Except a bad dental plan?"

The Sith took a step back, but kept her smile, as she slowly faded into the shadows before she was gone completly.

"You did right not listen to that brute." The Mira in the fancy dress stepped closer. "What does it mean to rule the galaxy but pointless busywork? Why should we bother to do so."

Mira swallowed hard as she realized who this vision represented, or rather, what... If there was one thing she wasn´t proud to have inherited from her aunt Ulrika it was her occasional lazyness. "So you are Mira Kyr?"

The other Mira nodded, "I accepted the offer, why should I risk my life for others when the money I gave me allows me to do even more good, and that without having to put myself on the line."

The offer, becoming the heir to the noble house of Kyr, Elena´s family. It had been tempting Mira couldn´t deny it. It would give her a wealth far beyond what she stood to inherit right now, which was already no small sum by any means, but it would have meant never becoming a Jedi, to take the path of a politician. Of a socialite. She would be allowed to sleep late every day for the rest of her life, have maids and servants to take care of her needs. Would attent fancy parties and eat only the best food the galaxy had to offer. And she could still help people, maybe even more than she ever could as a Jedi... and yet...

"I can understand why you took the offer, at least more than with that underwear model..." Mira said with a smile. "You have a life many dream of, but... its not my way. Besides the boredom would kill me in no time." There was another reason, one that once and for all shut down this path... but she didn´t need to mention it.

The other Mira gave her a polite little bow before fading into the shadows and Mira turned to the other two. She suspected the temptations they represented, and knew in her heart that saying no them would be far more of a challenge than the first two.

A mission to the Unknown Regions had ended with a skirmish against some enterprising pirates. He had been alone. They had mistaken that fact for weakness. As a result, their ignorance and greed had cost them dearly, but he hadn't come away unscathed from that conflict.

Somehow, the cloaking device aboard his Infiltrator had been compromised and he was in need of replacement crystals. How curious then, that the only location capable of providing what he needed was within reach. That location being, the icy planet known as Illum.

    But there was something else.

    A disturbance.

    He could feel it.

    The Light.

That, and an opportunity. A new mission.

To dim the lights in the galaxy.

    ...To be continued

Climbing yet another ledge, Adalia had one focus, the injured woman. She could sense she was getting closer but the woman's place in the Force was wavering. Hoisting herself up she crouched low and listened, felt her way. Turning her head to the right she stood slowly. "Hang on, whoever you are, I'm almost there."

She'd only taken a few steps when something tugged at the corner of her mind, something ........dark. She turned to look behind her, there was nothing, but the 'pull' was still there, faint and distant but somehow important. "One thing at a time." She murmured before resuming her climb, she had to find the woman.

    IC: Diric

What felt like eternities passed yet the lake dividing the Padawan and his crystal was still liquid. To pass some time Diric made use of the snow and ice, forming and moulding it into several large snowmen. He didn't want to give them any Clothing as he was starting to feel the effect of the cold. He scavenged searching and looking for any rocks and stones that he can use to give the Snowmen some character. "Right about now would be a good time for a Top Hat to show up eh?" Silence followed. As he walked away from the Crystal he marked a path in the snow directing him back to his crystal and his snow family. A dark rock protruded out of the snow.
Diric ran towards it but he slipped and knocked his head against it. "Oww. There is a rock there." He stumbled to his feet dazed and barely conscious. His vision went cloudy and grew dark. A loud dark voice spoke to him in a sinister tone. "The order is weak, You are weak, Join us, let us rebuild the Sith order together. Jedi are weak and old. they don't care about you but we do. We give you Power. We can save those you love. The orders time has come, You don't have to go down with it. You will join. You will be a Sith. You will crack and crumble like many other Jedi or you will be Killed." "hey whatever this is, Cave Demon thing, you don't scare me. You try to persuade, you fail, you try to kill us, you fail. I am no Sith. I am a Jedi. You say we are weak, You won't even show yourself. You say the Sith can save those who I love. Well, save the order then smart guy."
Diric Rubs his head trying to rid himself of this vision.

The caves grew even colder and soon turned crimson red. "Oh sh-" A figure dressed in dark black robes towered above Diric, a scar running down his cheek. His eyes were visible in the dark cave. Yellow eyes peered into his, Learning and trying to persuade him. A large scaly hand reached out. "No thanks, You can't turn me. You can't persuade me. None of your militant tactics will work on me. I'm a Jedi" He swatted at the hand finding the hand to not be physical. He swatted it again but Dirics hand just passed through it. He limped to his crystal and his family. He collapsed in front of the snowmen. He clawed at the ice, dragging his limp body to his backpack where there was fresh water and provisions. He wolfed down one of the ration bars and chugged his drink. Diric knelt in front of the Snow sculptures and focused his mind on The Force.

"I'm one with the force and the force is with me."

Inching down slowly not knowing where he was going, Hawke felt something touch his leg. Or so he thought? Not knowing what it was, Hawke wanted to think it wasn’t real. Kept telling himself “there’s nothing there, there’s nothing there”. The dark has a way to mess with the mind. “I have the force and the force has me” Hawke reminded himself. He knew at this point he would have to rely on the force to get through this time and get to his crystal, which he is hoping would show up any time now. After a few moments of calming himself down, Hawke continued his way down slowly. Lowering himself down, he reached the bottom. Unhooking himself from the rope, he turns around and sees nothing but darkness. Pure darkness. In the distance, Hawke notices a little light, very faint light. Hawke telling himself “maybe there’s a nice warm hot spring there? Could use some warming up”. Hawke always had a sense of humor from time to time. “OH maybe some hot cocoa also?” Hawke being the adventure guy as he is, began walking towards the faint light to see what it was.

She'd done her climbing and she knew her quarry was close, she could feel it. The woman was not responding her calls, and in the clearly unconscious state, she could not ascertain for certain it was who she thought it might be. There was no point in calling out, there'd be no answer so she pushed on, things were getting dark so she pulled out her hilt and ignited her lightsaber. The ice of the caves was lit with a magical purple colour that not only reflected but sparkled, Adalia took a brief moment to admire them, but she pushed forward wondering how someone got hurt so deeply with in the cave system and assumed the calls echoed off the ice walls.

The Ongree stepped forward cautiously down the trail in front of him, keeping his senses keenly alert of his surroundings.
The footsteps were echoing down one of the tunnels off in one of the right branches of the cavern. It was difficult to tell how far.
One step in front of the other.

A tapping sound? This noise was not in front of him.
Semajj ignited his green blade just as the emptiness in the force was filled with a Dark Shadow, and that tapping quickly became a roar.

    An Avalanche.

Walking to the light, Hawke thought to himself “is this the end? Maybe there’s a party? But why would there be a party in a cave? Hmm”. Hawke always had a way to try and make a funny in a not so funny adventure. Not really sure what it was, Hawke began his walk to the light. What was only a 200 yard walk, seemed 5 miles in the pitch dark to this little opening. It’s amazing what the dark can do to you. Images of his past, that he tried hard to forget, came back to him and all he though about was his parents getting killed. Hawke always hated the dark for this reason. He never wanted to relive his past always wanting to move forward. “I’ll get those darn stormtroopers back for what they did” Hawke keeper saying to himself. The force though, kept telling him that’s not the way to go about it. After what seemed like an eternity, Hawke made it to the little opening in the wall. Looking with aww, he saw a crystal, a blue crystal. “Is this, is this my crystal?” He kept repeating. Trying to fit through the hole but couldn’t, Hawke began to dig away at the hole saying “I just need to get my crystal”, just enough to squeeze through. Climbing through the hole, Hawke stood face to face with his crystal.

Mira looked up at the next of the hallucinations. The Mira in the simple serving maids outfit. "I know who you are, what you are."

"I am what you should be," she said, her voice wasn`t hostile, but soft yet every word hit Mira right into her stomach. "You are a spoiled brat Mira, you terrorized your babysitters, your aunts, you´ve been squandering the money they gave you. You are irresponsible, selfish, lazy and impatient. And yet... while billions of good kids suffer from poverty in this galaxy, you, you of all people was chosen to become a noble, and even that wasn`t enough, you were also blessed with the Force. Tell me do you think you deserve any of this? That you above all should get all these priviledges despite having never done a thing to earn any of it."

"No," Mira responded, her voice was nothing but a wispher, but she knew it was the truth. She had been given far more than she deserved, especially considering what a brat she had been as a child. And the guilt, the guilt over the luck she had in her life, it had always been there, even if she usually had been able to ignore it. But now, to pass this challenge she needed to face. "You are right, I don`t deserve this. What I would have deserved is your life, being forced to mature and become responsible. To spend my life serving and aiding other...." she made a pause. "...and yet, it happened, the past can`t be changed, I can`t go back to Eriadu and beg my aunts to disinherit me, ask the Jedi to strip the force of me so I can truly be just a serving girl. Its not possible and even if, what would it achieve beyond silencing my own guilt? No, I was taught that the galaxy isn`t fair, but that means that even if I have been dealt a better hand than most I can`t use it for good. Because that would be the real injustice, if I hid my powers. If I were a servant girl I couldn`t pay for education programs for poor worker children, I wasn`t a Jedi all the people whose life I saved over the years would be dead. I am who I am, and this is my path."

The other Mira gave her small courtious bow, than she faded into the shadows.

Mira took a deep breath before turning to the final hallucination. "You don`t have to say it," she said as tears began to form in her eyes. "You took her offer?"

    The Nightsister Mira nodded.

Mira had trouble even looking at her, "the Sith Mira represented my darker sides, the noble my lazyness, the servant girl my guilt and you are my jealousy. The worst of my sins..." she chuckled a bit, "got that from aunt Elena." She made a pause, "a life on Dathomir, side by side with Asajj, as sisters running over the meadows and fields together, hunting, fighting, exploring every cave and defeating every tribes champions." She swallowed hard. Asajj was her mentor, an older sister and best friend in one, the person who she trusted and admired the most. They understood each other on an almost instinctive level due to their long years of training. And in some ways their relationship was the living proof about the Jedi´s warning about attachments. "When she offered me to return to Dathomir together I wanted to take her offer more than anything else in the galaxy... but it would have been selfish, to shut myself off from the galaxy, wasting my potential..." she took a deep breath. "The day may come when I accept her offer, when I leave the Jedi behind.... but this day isn`t today. I am Mira Grau, I am a Jedi."

She looked up to see the other Mira again, but she was gone. They all had. She was alone in the cave and it seemed she always had been. "May the force be with you sisters," she muttered into the darkness before slowly walking forward again, towards a weak glow at the end of the cavern, a glow, growing stronger and stronger with every step she took towards it.

After an eternity of meditating, sleeping and crafting snowmen, the lake was finally solid. Diric collected all of his equipment and stepped out onto the ice. It was hard work trying to keep upright and not slip and fall like a slip and slide but that was inevitable. He ended up sitting down and trying to scoot forwards. No luck. He tried many times to get up and on the 9th time, he finally achieved it. He slid his bag across the ice, a curling stone flying towards the button. Diric was no curler. His bag flew past the small parapet on which a large stalagmite stood holding his crystal. "Yay! I'll get that later" Diric tried to achieve the same outcome as he had with his bag: barring getting it on target. He placed his foot in a v and pushed out with his right and left. it was slow going but he managed to do it in a short enough time that the ice only started to melt when he got to the small Island.

When he arrived on the island, Diric was in disbelief. They had travelled all this way for a 3cm crystal. His arm reached out and he pinched the crystal off its base. The light died down as soon as t was taken off of the stalagmite. A smile lit his face. He was in disbelief. Half of his life had led up to this moment. He placed the crystal into his zipping pocket. The ice bore a thin surface of the water but the sheet should still be thick enough to support Diric's weight.

He stepped out onto the ice. crack! "Oh, Sh--" He plunged into the cold waters below. It wasn't that deep but still, it would be a challenge to swim the 50m underwater. He took several deep shuddering breaths and he dived down. He swam fast but not fast enough. He was losing oxygen and fast! He had to break the surface but how. His bag was now ages away and he had nothing to smash it open. He managed to dive down and find a fairly large stone he could use as a hammer to smash the ice. Water-resistance made it nigh on impossible. His head broke the surface, the frigid wind made him wish he hadn't but it was better than drowning. He retook many large breaths and then dived down for the final part of his swim. The sea bed started to rise to the little dock where he had spent many hours meditating and making snowmen. His head broke the surface. He was home. He was alive.

It hadn’t taken long for him to land his stealth ship and secret it upon the surface of the icy planet. In short order, he’d sent half a dozen DRK-1 spy droids to quietly locate the crystals he would need. The data he possessed was old, but reliable. Like a hunter, he was patient, he knew he’d have to wait for them to report their findings via secure channel.

A short time had passed, before a discovery was made.

It wasn’t what he’d been expecting, but something else.

    A camp.

Long range reconnaissance revealed some interesting details, the sort that coincided with what he’d been sensing.

Slowly, he turned his head towards the disturbance he'd felt. The light. It seemed to have gathered around the area marked as ‘Temple’. Even from here, he could sense it: anxiety, surprise, distress, desire.

A small smirk tugged at his black lips.

The disturbance. It called to him.

As it was, the droids had their assigned task.

He had no reason to remain idle, no. He sensed an opportunity, one he did not bother to resist, as he immediately set himself on a mission to fulfill his duty, as one who adhered to dark tenets. But first, he would conceal himself, then observe and gauge the intensity of these so called 'lights', prior to snuffing them out.

With a quick dexterity that surprised even the Master, he managed to avoid the oncoming rocks and ice that surely would have spelled certain doom, quickly finding himself on his hands and knees in an unfamiliar tunnel, it took the Ongree a second to catch his breath. Feeling the force flow through him, he knew he was only a few dozen yards from the Temple entrance, but the sole direct path to it was now caved in. In his mind's eye he could see the endless interconnected tunnels, each interweaving the caves, most would take him deeper into the planet, only a scant few would bring him back to the surface. Quickly he realized at his current juncture in the labyrinth, no matter which way he turned it would inevitably take many hours for him to find a secondary, or even tertiary branch that connected back to the main one that would return him to the Temple.

At that thought he realized this was planned by an intelligent mind, whoever or whatever had lured him back into the caves had wanted him out of the way. Semajj felt his nerves rise, not merely for the implications of that on its own, but because he knew the Padawan's would be arriving at the Temple shortly to build their lightsabers. It was a trap!
"Focus on the present." Semajj told himself. Master Addie was waiting for the Padawan's, and Mira was in the area too. Surely, they could handle this phantom menace?
Yet even as the Master began the first steps of what he expected to be a long walk, a dark warning at the edge of his awareness left him with the impression the Padawan's were about to be put to their worst test yet.

Being able to squeeze through the hole to get to his crystal, Hawke took it off the pedestal. Inspecting it and making sure it was real. “I finally got it” Hawke said to himself. Placing the crystal into his bag, Hawke began his journey back. Again squeezing through the hole, which seemed to gotten smaller since obtaining the crystal. Hawke had a focal point on the way in, but now that he has gotten his crystal, he now to get to the climbing wall he faces complete darkness. He started to say “The force is with me and I am with the force” over and over, knowing he would have to rely on the force to make it to the wall. He started to have doubts, “this doesn’t feel right”. Not doubting the force, Hawke continued to rely on the force to lead the way. “Finally”, Hawke said in excitement. He has reached the wall where his climbing gear was waiting for him.

She'd only walked for a short time when she was confronted with a wall of ice, and the 'feeling' of who was behind it was right there. Leaning in with her hand she pushed, but it wasn't going to be pushed clear, not easily at all. Adalia glanced at her lightsaber, "that'll work." She muttered as she turned the blade to face the ice wall. This has to be done carefully, reaching high the blade was plunged into the upper area of the ice wall, easily enough. The ice gave way, melting as Adalia moved the blade to make and almost perfect large circle, not completed at the top, once done the blade was withdrawn. Leaning to the side she looked through the burn hole and saw the woman about 3 meters away from the wall and to her shock she not only recognized the woman but her robes. "Edo." She breathed in disbelief. Moments latter she'd planted her booted foot into the centre of the ice, breaking the ice at the top and stepping back as it fell in. Crashing to the hard floor it shattered and broke apart but while it was doing that Adalia was stepping through and moving over it toward her quarry. Bending down she touched her face before taking her pulse at the neck. "What happened friend, why are you here?" She muttered as examined her.

The woman was not rousing, Adalia decided a less gentle approach may be required. In the cold she began to gently slap her face. "Come on, wake up, I need to find out how bad this is." She said before raising her voice, "EDO!!! WAKE UP!!!" A harder slap for good measure. "Snap out of it!!" It wasn't working, she was breathing and that was all that was important.

Having dragged her fellow Jedi Companion from the Caves, un aware of what happened to her or how she got there, Adalia now sat back at the remains of their camp. She'd erected a survival tent with warming pads for Edo, she now sat in the waning light waiting, her senses telling her a few things. The Padawan's were successful, her Masters companions were on their own journey's but there was something dark, something she couldn't put her finger on, but it was there and she was alert and ready, just in case.

Placing the crystal in his pouch and putting his climbing gear on, Hawke climbed to the top of the cliff. Unhooking himself from the gear, Hawke looked straight ahead and saw his mother and father. “Is it real or is it because of the dark?” Hawke said to himself. Hearing them say of how proud they are of him and watching over him made him tear up. Running up to them, they disappeared. Hawke knew what he had to do. Hawke had to continue on this never ending journey of being the best Jedi he can be. Running out of the cave, Hawke made a fire to stay warm and sat waiting for everyone to come out.

Mira slowly walked out of the cave, the crystal, her crystal in her closed right hand. Had she ever doubted its colour? Even even considered for a moment that it could be something else? Maybe, but... if she was entirely honest she had known from the start. She wondered if her friends had made bets on it, or if even they had considered that pointless.

She arrived at the remnants of the camp alone. A part of her had wanted to wait for her padawan but the force told her that Jira had to walk this path on her own. Just as Mira herself had. "Hey Addie, three guesses on the colour of my crystal?" She said with a grin as she saw her friend had already arrived. Only then did she saw the body next to her fellow master. "Who is that? What happened?"
