It's actually been a while since I've seen some of these movies (I usually only watch the prequels every year since they are my favorites and have only seen the sequels once in the movie theater) but my plan for this year is to watch all 11 movies again so I'll have to return to this thread after that to see if my opinion has changed!

 

coming from the Uk im really loving your use of tiers in your selection.. rather different to mine although same bottom choice. how i wish we had some definitive pie charts with everyones choices.. but now i feel we have to include the tv shows too

Then they're much of a muchness for me. I don't dislike any but they don't stand out like my top four. I know it's not a movie, but The Mandalorian is up there with TESB and R1.

Updated ranking. As you can see from the colors my ranking doesn’t really skew toward any trilogy.

Also it’s a ranking of how much enjoyment I gleam from rewatching them now more than anything. So, while I think TROS is incredibly disappointing and squanders so much potential, I still enjoy watching it. Same with Phantom Menace in a way.

My girlfriend and I just completed a full watchthrough of Episodes 1-9 in chronological order. She didn't grow up with Star Wars, so it was interesting to see someone's take on them with fresh eyes. Her list is

I can't believe that you haven't got the Ewok movies in the Top Ten. Wicket speaking English is Star Wars gold.

 

Teek should have been the protagonist of the sequel trilogy.
