Of the stuff I've seen...

1. The Empire Strikes Back (Classic gold standard.)
2. Rogue One (I cried, which rarely happens so kudos to you movie.)
3. The Last Jedi, The Mandalorian and Solo (Couldn't decide, I love them equally!)
4. Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars (Essential, as far as I'm concerned.)
5. Rebels (I like it, but there's a few things that I would have done differently), Star Wars / A New Hope (Put both titles for completions sake, the one that started it all.)
6. Return of the Jedi and The Phantom Menace (I love both of these, but there are enough things that bug me that have bumped them down over the years.)
7. Clone Wars (Really fun, but also really stylized. To the point that it took me out of it. Still fun though.)
8. The Force Awakens (I love the characters, but the similarities to A New Hope are a little to striking for me.)
9. The Rise of Skywalker (I debated with myself as to if I like this more or less than TFA. It's a very visually beautiful movie, like the rest of the trilogy. The story is rushed and I don't like Palpatine coming back, or at least how they did it here. That said, it didn't ruin the film for me and I still had a good time, which I would consider a success.)
9. Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars (The last of which isn't really a movie but more a couple episodes edited together, but again for completions sake...)
10. Galaxy of Adventures (Very nice animation, no real story though.)
11. Ewoks and Droids (Very similar to each other, I don't hate them but it's hard to reconcile them with the rest.)
12. Forces of Destiny (I like some of the episodes, others feel like they could have been better though.)
13. Roll Out (Really fun and cute, but it's kinda doing it's own thing. XD)
14. The Star Wars Holiday Special (Good for a few laughs, but alas, not well made at all.)

I unfortunately haven't gotten a change to see Caravan of Courage, The Battle for Endor or Resistance yet (though I very much want to) so I can't give my honest ranking of them.
I also left out the video games, cause I thought that might be too much.

 

Those really have nothing to do with SW, just use one setting and "characters" from one of the SW movies. It's like Stephen King often sets his stories in Castle Rock. It's the same universe but the stories are very different, not coherent at all. I remember I really disliked the second Ewoks movie. Not just bad in the SW universe, but simply bad film-making, period. You missed nothing at all.

 

I just read The Star Wars Archives by Paul Duncan. I may need to increase my ranking of ROTJ as a result. It truly is a great film.

 

That may very well be the case, but I still wish to see them for myself.

 

You didn't miss much with the first stand alone Ewok movie either.

 

Star Wars: Ewok Adventures is a lot of fun. Do not hesitate to watch the two movies.

 

I still haven't watched the ewoks movies and holiday special as i'm afriad i might just not look at star wars the same way i have any longer.

 

The former has Willford Brimley and must be treated with the utmost respect, lest ye get diabeetus.

 

i just stay with canon storytelling and not fan fics or horrible commentary's.

Nice to see A New Hope get some love. It seems to be falling down a lot of rankings. I still have it number two behind ESB.

 

It’s a difficult one, when you look at it as an individual film I’d say ANH is better. But when I’m rewatching all of the films, ROTJ just evokes so much emotion. The final scenes of:
- Vader turning on the Sith
- Anakin/Vader’s body burning, mirroring Anakin watching Qui Gonn’s body burning in episode 1.
-The music, the scenes of Coruscant, Naboo, Endor, Tattoine, Bespin
- Seeing Anakin, Obi Wan and Yoda stood alongside each other

It all just comes together to provide a completely satisfying ending to the whole saga and that’s what makes me put it above ANH

Nice to see TLJ getting some love! That film grew a lot on me recently.

Also, I’ve been rewatching Rebels and that show is starting to grow on me a bit too! I may revise my ranking again, once I get through the whole show.

Looking at those ranking lists, it surprises me that ANH often gets rated so low. I mean, after all it's the movie that started it all. Do you really think the dialog, acting, effects, story, music etc. were THAT bad?
