Title: The Diary of a Jedi Archivist
Author: moosemousse
Timeframe: A few years before TPM
Characters: Kavra Thane, Keyan D'Shan, other OCs, with mention of canon characters
Genre: A diary, it will cover lots of genres.
Keywords: Tapani, OC, diary, journal, padawan, Jedi, academy
Summary: A Jedi Archivist starts to keep a diary recording all the interesting happenings in the Jedi Archives.
Notes: This is a response to the [link=http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp?topic=29588737]Dear Diary Challenge 2009[/link], a challenge to keep the diary of a character for a year. I have chosen to the diary of OC named Kavra Thane. She appears in [link=http://boards.theforce.net/a/b10475/27629365/]Things Lost[/link] and its sequal [link=http://boards.theforce.net/a/b10475/28271585/]Things Found[/link]. Here's a summary, blacked out for those that want to read them without spoilers: [hl=black]in Things Lost it's revealed that she was thought dead but it turns out that she might be alive, so Keyan D'Shan, her lover, sets out to find her. In Things Found, D'Shan finds her and returns to the Academy with her.[/hl]

It's is mostly set in a Jedi Academy somewhere in the [link=http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tapani_Sector]Tapani Sector[/link]. While it is in the Tapani Sector it is not known where exactly. It's main reason for being set there is that I like the names of the days and the months. As the diary progresses I'll be expanding the notes to include information that's relevant to the latest entry.

I will be updating this every ten days. This might seem weird, but I have my reasons. Each day that goes by is another day in the diary, and each week in the diary is fives days long. I will be keeping a PM list, so if you want a PM when this is updated just leave a comment saying so here or PM me. You will then receive a PM with a link to the latest entry as soon as it's posted.

After a long search I finally found a few pictures that look like my OCs Keyan D'Shan and Kavra Thane.
The first is Kavra Thane

Entry:
So, this is the first entry in this journal, and the second day of the New Year. I was meaning to start this yesterday but I spent all of Winter Festival with Keyan and we ended up over doing things a little bit too much. At least yesterday was Natunda, and Natunda is always a day off. I was glad for the chance to recover. We didn?t have anything to do so that meant that Keyan and I could spend all day in bed together without having to worry about anything.

There's another first for today. Since I returned to the Academy I was put to work in the Archives. It's all been interesting work so far but I'd been 'apprentice' to old Archivist. Today I start working there alone. I think they trust me enough to be alone in there, but they don't seem to trust me enough to put me in charge. They certainly don't seem to trust me enough to give me my lightsabre back, not that I'm bitter about that. I mean, would you trust someone with a lightsabre knowing they'd fallen to the Dark Side?

Still, it's not like there aren't chances to prove myself. I guess I just have to work hard and do the best I can. At the end of the day it's not like it really matters. I have Keyan and they're letting me live here. They could have just killed us both when we returned.

*sigh*

I guess I just miss being able to do my own thing without having special permission first. Mostly I'm allowed to as long as Keyan is with me, but sometimes I'm sent with a chaperone as well. It kind of makes things very awkward. We get by though, somehow. At least we do get to go out and about.

That reminds me of something. I think we might be going out somewhere. I've come across a rumour in the Archives. It's just a fragment though and it seems hard to get anything from it alone. The Archives are badly organised though and there could be more to it than what meets the eye. If I get everything in order it might just lead to something. I'd been worried about sorting things out before in case it looked suspicious. Now that I'm working alone I can have a proper look.

I should make some resolutions in this entry. I should make some, though I don't know how well I'll be able to keep. If I keep them simple then I should be ok. I think the first one will be to work hard and do my best. It seems easy, though I'm prone to slacking sometimes. The second will be to write a diary entry every other week. Knowing how busy I'm not, this should also be easy. And finally, don't eat too much. No chance of that happening so I should be safe with that one.

But now I must dash, I don't want to be late.

Well I've never read the other stories but I like your character's voice. I'm glad she's aware that they could have killed them both and is granting them a mercy to let them live at all.

Most interesting start! If you're keeping a PM list would you mind adding me to it?

Entry:
So, I did a bit of digging and researching on the rumour in the archives and I came across some very interesting information indeed. Unfortunately, there's a lot of the text missing, and some of it is very important for translation. From what I can tell there's an information storage device somewhere in the Tapani Sector. It doesn't say what it is or what information it contains, but it seems to be revered and highly respected. I'm guessing it's very valuable information, possibly worth a small expedition to retrieve.

I've managed to narrow down its location to the planet Alisandor, which helps a lot. It's a large planet though, so it could take months to find the thing. There are location indicators in the texts, but, like I said, there are parts missing. It's very subjective in places, and the translation requires knowledge of the context the word is in. For example, there's a word here that could mean cheese, mountain, valley, or river. There's a key word just in front, but it's only got the last few characters, and that word is probably what I need to translate it accurately.

On the up side, I do know for certain that a Force user owned it and that it was hidden with Force powers. It was also fairly near a settlement, so all we have to do is find disturbances in the Force that are near settlements. Shouldn't be too hard, right?

*sigh*

That assumption was fairly wrong, as I found out when I started looking at maps. Using the texts, I spent many hours scouring the maps. I eventually found a dozen possible locations. It'd help if I knew whether to look for a river or a mountain or a valley, that'd narrow it down to four locations.

At least finding the location is the hard part. One I know where to look I should be able to find the device with ease. There's only one account that I could find, but it's very detailed and there should be lots of identifiable markers. It should be a simple case of following the directions, which sounds easy enough. Fingers crossed on this though, things have a habit of being more complex than they first seem.

Oh well. I submitted all I found yesterday and I'll find out what they say tomorrow. I hope they let us go, and I hope they let us go alone. Alisandor looks like a nice place, almost romantic. It'd be shame to be there with someone watching over us while we're in the mood for romancing.

Talking of romance, Keyan and I are off on a picnic later today. We're going to the crash site where we 'landed' on our return. I'm curious as to see what's left there. I doubt there'll be much left, if anything. I remember it being a nice and quiet place those and I'm really looking forward to it. We haven't had a picnic in too long. I've finished preparing all the food, I got something nice for us to drink, and now I'm waiting for Keyan to finish in the 'fresher. Once he's done, I'll go clean myself up and we'll go.

No, wait, talk of the devil. He's just finished.

Entry:
So the trip to Alisandor didn't quite go as planned. We still got to go though, which is something, but we had to go with a newly knighted Jedi, and that wasn't a good thing. Still things could have been a lot worse in the department. But before I go off into the adventures on Alisandor, the picnic!

It was really weird seeing the crash site for what is effectively the first time. When we 'landed' we weren't really in any fit state to take in our surroundings. All the debris had been cleared away and had it not been for the craters in the ground or the broken trees it was almost as if nothing had happened. Almost, but not quite. There was a slight off-ness in the Force surrounding the area. I guess tensions had been running high then.

We settled down on a small mound after spreading out a large blanket over it. It was somewhat of a surprise when I opened the basket and found some of my favourite snack foods in there, especially as I hadn't packed them. Keyan noticed my surprise and grinned before kissing me on the cheek. I flung my arms around him and gripped him tightly. In the basket he'd added some egg bites which were small eggs wrapped in a sausage meat type thing and coated in crumbs*, these balls of white fluff coated in chocolate and dipped in flaked nuts**, and a bottle of Corellian 'wine'. I call it wine as it comes in a wine bottle but it's more of a fruit drink, and it's alcohol free.

We did get a bit amorous but we felt too exposed to do anything. The thin trees didn't provide much of a screen and there wasn't enough cover overhead to provide any real protection. We did spend a long time talking rubbish and cuddling though. That was until it started raining. We arrived back at the academy worn out and with just enough energy to collapse into bed.

That was the picnic, and then we had that trip to Alisandor.

We got the confirmation that we could go on the Atunda. We would take one of the larger shuttles with room for four people. At first I'd feared that we'd be sent with a Master and Padawan, but it was a slight relief to find out that it was only a newly knighted Jedi that would be going with us. I spent a little longer going through the pre-journey preparations. I had all the provisions stowed, the list of sites to check all sorted, last minute checks on the shuttle done, and everything was ok.

We arrived on Satunda and began searching the most likely sites. There was nothing at any of them. We didn't even find a single clue either. We had all but given up and the Jedi with us was starting to get disgruntled and was openly saying that this was a waste of time. If it hadn't been for Keyan I would have just snapped at him, and him. We were discussing what to do next at the dinner table that night when I had an idea.

I'd only listed the most likely sites, ones that had all the important features nearby. There was one other location that seemed to fit, but I'd dismissed it early on. I did, however, keep a not of it. The Jedi just shrugged, and Keyan agreed with me so we decided to check it out any way.

Did I feel silly that day or what?

Remember that word that could mean cheese, mountain, valley, or river? I had thought that the word before was only part of a longer word. Looking back at it now I can see the mistake. We found the site easily enough from the Force residues that were left behind. It turns out that the word was complete and that the phrase in the text was 'cheese factory'. I almost cried.

We set down nearby and began to explore. All the instructions that were seemingly so clear were now just confusing and the whole thing had to be worked out from the beginning. We spent the rest of the day figuring things out. On Katunda we set out to find what we were looking for.

Once we had our bearings sorted and we'd found th>

Once we had our bearings sorted and we'd found the start of the trail, the instructions were fairly easy to follow. We found the object at about lunch time. It turned out to be some sort of holocron. It was a plain looking cube with no specific markings or identifiers. It was Keyan who retrieved it from its resting place. He held it up for me to look at before handing it over to the Jedi. It was then stowed away securely.

Can't wait to see what this means. [face_thinking] =D=

Subject: Wow!
Mood: Shattered

Entry:
The week following our return was uneventful to say the least. Lots of work had piled up in the Archives and I found myself spending most of the working day down there. I didn't even have time for lunch on most days, and I usually spend lunch with Keyan if he's around. I'm torn as to how I feel about him being away for most of the week. On the one hand I felt a bit alone during the night, but on the other hand, well, it was probably for the best. Being a Jedi can help with the body in many ways, but we're still pray to certain other functions. It also meant that I would have spent lunch alone, so being busy meant I was able to take my mind off of that.

After a long Natunda alone, I was called to see the Head Archivist. She'd finished analysing the holocron. I was eager to see her to get her news and I almost didn't get dressed fully. I managed to realise my mistake as I was about to leave though. Probably just as well, what little clothing I'd put on wasn't clean. When I was fully dressed in clean clothes, I hurried to see the Head Archivist.

She's a kind woman, a silver haired Cathar. I always feel uncomfortable around her. Even in her advanced years she's still so beautiful. She's so much better than I am. It doesn't make sense to be jealous but there it is. I guess I'm jealous.

*sigh*

Still, she'd finished her analysis of the holocron. After making a cup of tea, we knelt at her low table. The original had been stowed away for safe keeping, but the data had been copied out. She slid a copy across the table.

"I've completed the analysis," she said, "and it's an interesting record. I wasn't made by a Jedi or a Sith, but it was made by a Force User. I suspect that it was someone who wasn't sure what their abilities meant, or someone who wasn't strong enough to become a Jedi."

I frowned at this point. "What does that mean?"

She sipped her tea, "it means that the knowledge contained isn't any way of using the Force, so it's not some long lost Force ability. It is, however, rather delicious."

I paused with my cup to my lips. "Delicious?"

She watched me closely as she finished her tea. I knew she was taking her time, a test of patience as I lack that. Placing her cup down, she picked up her own copy. "It's a recipe for a noodle soup. The ingredients are fairly easy to get hold of, and it's very easy to make. Have a look", she indicated the data pad in front of me.

Picking it up, I scanned it through. The images were flat, but it did look nice. I finished my tea and stood up. "Thank you for the tea," I said, "but I must return to the archives." She smiled kindly at me, and I hastily left.

I felt so stupid as I made my way back to the archives. I checked everything again and again and again. I was so sure that the holocron would be something important. How could it just be soup? Frustrated at myself I stumbled through the day and collapsed on my bed. After a while I picked up the data pad again and read it through in more detail. With a sigh, I made arrangements to have the ingredients delivered.

The rest of the week was less busy, and Keyan was back. He suspected that something was going on, but he didn't have a clue what. I wanted this to be surprise. I managed to keep everything a secret as I got the ingredients and made preparations. Keyan had to go out today, which was lucky. It left me with a whole day to sort out the soup. In the end it didn't take long, and I managed to time it so that it was served up in time for his return.

The soup was so good. I can see now why it was so highly thought of. It was almost enough to have spent so long chasing after it. It did make us a bit passionate. We're so passionate that we've been going for over three hours now. Keyan is taking a 'fresher break as he's running out of energy, poor thing. I'll be goin>

Not had a happy two weeks. A sudden surge in workload in the Archives has left me feeling tired and irritable. It doesn't help that Keyan is being a pain in the neck. He's either getting under my feet or ruining perfect moments by saying something stupid. Still, he *is* a man, so I guess it's to be expected. I've come so close to zapping him lately, it's a wonder that I haven't. Well, not really, I know he went to a lot of trouble to find me and bring me back. He also did a lot to make sure I could stay here. He can be so sweet sometimes.

*sigh*

Lula Dain, the Head Archivist, has been helping out in the Archives. She's always so calm and graceful. She also makes the best stim drinks ever. They've helped a lot as we've been working till late most nights and we have to start work again early each morning. Well, I do. Lula comes and goes at the normal times, which is understandable. She is getting old. I don't begrudge her this as she works hard, though you wouldn't think it if you saw her working. Not like me.

Still, as wonderful as her drinks are, they do make me pee a lot. It's not been unusual to see me hopping around and fidgeting in the Archives as I rush to finish a task so I can run to the loo. I hope the work lets up soon so I don't have to keep drinking strong drinks. I used to go for ages without going to the loo and now it's getting ridiculous.

I think it's been making me feel sick as well. I've been feeling a bit queasy lately. It's really not nice. Normal smells that I usually enjoy seem to set me off as well. I think I need to see a Healer soon as the drinks and the stress from the Archives seems to be affecting me in more ways than just this.

We were just curled up in bed and Keyan started touching me. I could swear that he was being rougher than normal with my breasts but he swears he was being gently. That's why I'm updating this at this stupid time, I just got so fed up with him that I didn't want him touching any of me at all. That and I needed to pee, again. I haven't slept yet so it still feels like Natunda, so I guess I haven't broken the New Year's resolution.

*yawn*

I'm going to see if we have anything that'll help me sleep, and then I'll go back to bed. With any luck Keyan will be asleep and I'll be awake and gone before him in the morning.

Entry:
The influx of work began to slow on Atunda 7 and by Satunda 9 it was back to normal. Normal was a steady trickle of not much. Unfortunately we couldn't ease up on our work as we still had a large back log of work that needed to done.

I was mildly surprised when Lula stayed when the working day was over on Datunda 10. I asked her about it and she smiled saying that if she worked an extra two hours now then we'd have caught up. I thanked her, glad to have the help. All the extra work had left me tired and all the stim drinks left me needing to pee a lot. The nausea kept up as well.

Keyan had been called off planet on the Atunda 7 so at least I could be grumpy and miserable on my own. Not that I didn't miss him. I missed him a lot. Lula noticed that I was missing him and offered to make me lunch the next day, Natunda 11. It was nice offer and I accepted. As well as making great stim drinks she was also a great cook.

On Natunda I arrived at her quarters a little early and she sat me down at her low table. After getting me a soothing tea she finished preparing the food. There was an assortment of dishes to be eaten with chopsticks. I sat hesitantly looking at the food with the chopsticks in hand as Lula helped herself.

She paused and looked up at me, "is something wrong?"

I sighed, "I'm not sure. I don't want to sound rude but those drinks you made us are safe for humans, aren't they?"

Lula nodded, "perfectly safe. Is something the matter?"

"It could just be nothing," I said, "but I've been peeing a lot, feeling nauseous, and tired. I've noticed myself being irritable with Keyan too." I sighed, inwardly cringing and wondering why I was telling Lula this. "Being tired could just be down to the heavy workload, and the peeing could be down to drinking a lot."

"But you think there might be more?" she asked. I just nodded. She thought for a moment. "I'm not a qualified Healer, but if you want I could give you a quick check. I probably won't be able to do anything, but I'll be able to tell if you something is wrong."

I looked up at her, "would you do that?"

She smiled, "of course. But I think we'd better eat first before it gets cold." I nodded in agreement and started helping myself.

After we'd eaten, Lula showed me through to her sleeping chamber. It wasn't lavishly decorated but it had a pleasant feel to it. After lying down on her bed she knelt by my side and moved her hands over me.

"Well," she said after a few minutes, "I can tell you that there's nothing wrong. There's something not quite right, so you might want to see the Healers."

I sat up hastily, "is something wrong?"

She shook her head, "no, nothing's wrong, it's just that something is amiss, I'm not sure what though. I didn't cover this in the little training I had." She pointed to a boor behind her and said "it's through there."

I must have looked confused, as I was feeling confused. Then my stomach lurched and I ran to the door, busting through to find the 'fresher. I made it just in time.

When I was feeling better, Lula showed me some techniques to help with the nausea and let me stay until dinner time. I was glad of her company and she was very caring. It was just the right amount of fussing without it being smothering or patronising.

I went home in the evening and slept well.

The week hss passed like it normally does. Lots of tedious tasks that are easy but take a long time, lots of hard tasks that take very little time, and lots of very important tasks that require me to drop everything. Still, at least I was kept relatively busy. But today I went to the Healer for a check up. I was still worried about what Lula had said and I still didn't know what she meant. This was the next surprise.

After putting on a medical gown I lay down on an examination table. The Healer did various tests and poked around, feeling my insides through the Force. It seemed to take longer than it did, but he

It was a comforting thing, and strangely full of wonder. I felt a motherly warmth spreading as I thought about it. Two hearts beating together in the same body and a new life just beginning.

Beautiful! [face_love] =D=

Date: Tapani Day
Time: 21:37
Subject: Excitement a go-go
Mood: Tired

Entry:
These past few weeks have been stressful and tiring. For a few days after I last updated it felt like Keyan was testing me. I hadn't decided how to tell him the news and I was trying to keep it from him. He could tell I was being secretive about something, though he was very wrong about what it was. He thought I'd gone back to the Dark Side or something. In the end I just blurted it out.

He seemed shocked at first, and then thrilled. He also seemed very relieved. On the Natunda he told me about an archive that had been found in the Expansion Region. He explained that he wanted to be sure he could trust me completely as we were to go there to see what we could find. I was thrilled, or would have had the pregnancy not made me so ill. I was doing everything I could to reduce the symptoms and for the most part it was working. We spent most of Natunda getting ready and we left on the Atunda.

We arrived the next day and we were all ready to trek the short distance to the ruins when things went wrong. Just as we were about to leave my body decided to have a tantrum that stopped me doing anything that wasn't unpleasant. When that stopped it was too late to go anywhere so we had to wait until the next day. I then decided to rain heavily for the next week, with various storms and whatnot going on non-stop.

The noise of the storms made sleeping extremely hard, which made my exhaustion from the pregnancy even worse. Keyan was beginning to show signs that it was affecting him too. All the rain battering our ship made it move around too. It wasn't a lot but it made my insides a bit . . . stormy too.

I think it was the worst week I've ever experienced, and I've seen a few bad weeks.

By Datunda it had settled down to just heavy rains, and on Natunda it was just a light drizzle. I was still feeling unwell so we delayed going out until Atunda. Hiking through unknown territory while feeling tired and horrible and yuck is not my idea of fun.

We left early Atunda morning and spent all day hiking. I would have liked to have landed closer to the ruins themselves but it would have been impossible. After yet more hiking we finally arrived at the ruins late last night.

The ruins are more complete than we'd first thought, which was a nice surprise. We found the living quarters after a short time too. Some of the doors were locked but I was able to slice into them easily enough. After finding a room that was good enough to sleep in, we settled down for the night.

Today was largely spent making maps of the layout. To cover more ground we'll be splitting up and neither of us wants to get lost. We noted the locations of anything interesting as well, such as locked containers and sealed doors. I'm not sure but I think we covered most of the ruins.

But now we're both really tired and in need of sleep, so it?s time to stop writing and go to bed. This wasn't what I had planned to do on Tapani day, but I can't deny that it's been fun, or at least interesting.

Great update!
Seems like the ruins will hold secrets that will

earlybird-obi-wan: he might like it now, but later? We'll have to see if he makes good father material. ;)

XANl: you'll find out now. :)

VaderLVR64: thank you. :D

Entry:
After completing the maps of the Archives we spent the next few weeks exploring more thoroughly than before and looking through all the artefacts that we found. Most of the important and valuable stuff had already been removed, by who we don't know, or when. What was left was either trivial, not worth much in terms of money, or was just fragments and incomplete.

We gathered what we thought could be of use. With a lot of time to hand we could afford to search through everything more thoroughly than anyone hoping to make a quick few credits. We managed to complete some of the fragmented articles and some appear to be of use.

After checking through the open rooms and searching through them, we began slicing through the locks in to the locked rooms. Some of them contained valuable artefacts, too valuable to leave in easily accessible rooms. Some of them contained cleaning and maintenance equipment. And some of them were just private quarters.

One thing became clear while going through the private quarters was how lucking Keyan and I are. There were flimsy pads and data pads containing diaries and journals. A lot of them were about Jedi training and Jedi missions, and there was a lot of day to day nothingness that seemed important at the time for those that wrote it down.

There were a lot of romantic troubles too. Not surprising really as Jedi are people too, and they fall in love just like everyone else. The difference is that normally Jedi are forbidden to have attachments, which means no relationships. The number of time we came across mentions of unrequited love, forbidden love, troubles with the writers being in love with another, it was astounding.

Keyan and I are lucky in that regard. The Academy we live in allows us to be together and have a relationship. It's why it's kept secret from the other Jedi. If they knew then who knows what might happen? There are only so many Jedi the Academy can support.

We are luck as we are allowed to love and be loved. We are allowed to be in a relationship. We are allowed to live together and stay together. We are allowed to marry and spend our lives together. This all forbidden in every other Jedi Academy and temple, and it's clear from the journals and diaries how much suffering this causes.

Last week we felt two Jedi approaching the planet. They were on the run from the Jedi order, all because they fell in love. They broke into the Archives with a lot less subtlety then we did, and they took refuge in the inner chambers. When we caught up with them they attacked us, thinking we were there to get them.

After a brief fight, we managed to over power them. It was easy. They were weak and hungry after days of running. They seemed more than grateful for the food we offered them, and after a while they began to open up.

After confessing their love for each other to the council of their Academy they had been ordered to leave. Not willing to go, they had then been chased like animals. They had ended up here.

Keyan and I talked for a long time about what to do. They seemed so alone in the universe. They wanted to remain Jedi and they wanted to be together. We couldn't tell them about the Academy in case they led others to it, but we couldn't stand by and do nothing.

In the end, we took all forms of communication device and their weapons from them. We had decided to take them with us back to the Academy. They'd be locked in their quarters for the>

earlybird-obi-wan: isn't it great? It'd be nice if all Jedi were like Keyan and Kavra.

VaderLVR64: thank you. I'm rather fond of them too, so I think there'll be more of them. :)

Subject: What a month!
Mood: Who knows?

Entry:
It's been a very weird month. It's had amazing moments of happiness, some utterly bizarre and strange moments, and other moments that defy classification. This is all going to take a long time, and as I'm not doing anything today I thought I'd make the most of things. D'Shan is off scouring the galaxy (or so it seems) for something elusive. He said "I'll know it when I see it" and left it at that. I'm not sure what to make of this, but it's just me and the baby for a while, so I have some peace and quiet to write this. All the better for me really as I am so far behind. Is it bad that I forgot what I wrote in my last entry? That just shows how long it's been.

The day after I wrote that entry we secured our guests in a spare room on our ship. It wasn't the most comfortable of rooms, but they were happy enough. They seemed to be quiet and they kept to themselves mostly, which was nice in a way. During the journey neither Keyan nor I sensed anything bad from them. They seemed to be sleeping most of the time.

Before we arrive, Keyan checked our quarters and removed anything that could be used against use or the Academy. Our quarters were comfortable and as Moen and Jolla might be here for a while it seems only fair that we make the comfortable.

Our arrival back was rather exciting and nerve wracking. We had informed the Council of our passengers and as soon as we came out of Hyperspace there was a fighter escort ready to meet us. It sees a bit over the top, but I understand their caution. Landing was uneventful, except for the small gather of Jedi waiting for us. It felt like the day when Keyan brought me back, and I felt a panic rising in me. Keyan sensed it too and he gripped my hand. I heard a slight intake of breath as I squeezed back, perhaps a little too hard.

After a brief discussion with the Council in the shade of a nearby tree, we went back onboard our ship and moved Jolla and Moen to our quarters where they'd be comfortable. We also made sure that they'd have food and water. We left them there with the door locked and a guard posted. It didn't seem right somehow.

The rest of the week was spent unloading everything and organising it properly. The dataslates and holocrons had to be loaded into the archive, which wasn't as easy as it sounds. The artifacts were old and they don't fit into the new equipment, so converters and adaptors had to be found. And then the information had to be converted into a format that will work with our archives. All the artifacts were left as they were and their storage locations were attached to the data in the archive in case the original needed checking. I'm not entirely sure what happened to the other artifacts, but I'm sure they were dealt with properly.

During the next week I was summoned to the Council chamber several times a day. On some occasions I'd just left when they called me back again. It's like they were trying to get me angry or something like that. Testing me, and whether I'd fallen to the dark side again. They seemed to ask a lot of the same questions as well.

They did ask a lot about our guests in our shuttle, though in a very indirect way. There was a lot of little questions and going off on tangents and mind games, it seems. It was all very tiring and more than a bit confusing.

Keyan was there for a few of the meetings, and he seemed to be there a lot while I wasn't. Our evenings were mostly spent with me c>
