    ooops - did i really sound like a USC brat there?]-}

sorry SSS - didn't mean to rile ya - but I really do hate the NFL - L.A.'s two most recent teams flew the coop and left us high and dry - how would you feel?

anyway, your proposition is most interesting and I would most gladly take you up on it, save for two things:

#1 -we might not have a winner til January - the ROTS dvd comes out early NOV and I am not waiting!

#2 - i'm not wholly sure SC will three - peat (again didn't mean to sound like an SC brat) the Vegas oddsmakers are giving a three peat a 1 in 4 chance - so in other words it's against the odds. They are the favorites, but it's by no means a lock. I would put it at 1 in 3 or 1 in 2, but to bet that they would win it all is quite a gamble.

gimme the odds and i'll think about it???? just kidding again....

    Hello, my friends.

I would like two more judges for the contest. I am judging, and I would like to have multiple opinions. Please let me know through PM if you could volunteer your services in this way.

    I liked it to, Anti.

Hitchhikers Guide fits my quirky humor like a glove. Very Monty Pythonish.

The only better quote than the one for the dolphins is:

    Leslie Nielson says:
    "Nice Beaver!"
Priscilla Presley on a ladder handing down a stuffed beaver from a top shelf:
"Thank you! I just had it stuffed yesterday."

    . . . I have issues.

    MSRP: $27.95...

Put your money were your Jedi mouth is...[face_laugh] =D=

I love college football, but until hoops season gotta have something to watch on Sundays.

Hey Umbrus, you gonna go see the Steve Martin version of Pink Panther?

I know you said Monty, but ya gotta love the old Peters Sellers flicks too.

    "Mey ei eewws yeurr fuenn?"
    "My what?"
    "yeurr funn."
    "My fuen?"
    "No, u Eedeeowt! Yeurr fuenn!"

There is no one like Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau. I don't know if Steve Martin can pull it off . . . but he might be able to. He's just silly enought to possibly manage it.

see SSS - i'm too smart to be baited into making a straight low percentage bet like that -

i know my jedi mouth could be exactly where yours is by this time next week -

btw - never said SC was a 100% sure shot - just the favorite, so not sure where all this is coming from?

this is only sports, after all....

No Mah-Lord, I was just using sports to bait another Jedi...

I love all the Pink Panther flicks... timeless humor...here's to hoping Steve Martin can pull it off...
    *raises glass of milk*

Hey AP, a real fan would take that measely wager anyday...

Its ONLY $27.95, now if you were a ~SDO~ member you'd have to take that bet, but I understand some of you JTC'ers are all about peace love and hair grease...:D

Just say the word Master and I fry every Jeedai in here

Welcome all to the bi-weekly SDO Poetry and Literature Contest! Our theme is Tragedy (Natural Disaster)! The contest is also being extended this week to run not only today, but all day Sunday and Monday as well! Bring forth your entries, or volunteer to assist in judging! Though I am a judge and thus not eligible to win, I will be posting a short story tomorrow anyway.

Well, here's my post that can't be included because of my judging. It's another preview for my Clone Commanders fanfic:

Commander Bly looked up at the massive wave of water about to hit the city. The battle had gone horribly wrong. It was supposed to be easy to take over Mon Calamari?s only dry city. But the Calamari had flooded it. Water was coming on to the island, sweeping away the Empire?s AT-STs. His troopers were evacuating to the landing ships downtown. AT-STs, AT-ATs, and AT-PT walkers were running like a mouse chased by a very hungry kitten. The Rebels had taken over one of the buildings, and laser fire was raining down on the stormtroopers. Commander Bly shot at the building and saw a Rebel trooper fall. The water was at his knees now, and the big wave was destroying the outskirts and suburbs of the city. It was time to leave.

Bly finally gave the order on the comm link in his helmet. ?All Imperial troops, evacuate the city immediately! Repeat, evacuate the city!? Bly shouted. He really didn?t need to, though. Most troops had already abandoned their posts to get out. But Bly still didn?t move. He had just heard a familiar sound, one he had not heard in some time. The sound of a lightsaber. He found the source. There, at the top of the building, stood a Jedi Knight. One of the few who had escaped Order Sixty-Six. The wave was coming nearer, and the Jedi leaped into the air, onto a low-flying Alderaanian ship that Bly hadn?t seen. Quickly, he shot a cable at it from his wrist and was carried up with the ship. Bly pulled in the cable slowly until he reached an airlock. He blasted it open and entered the ship, determined to kill the Jedi.

Ok. The truth is, I could easily kill you all without even breaking a sweat, so there's no point in even trying to fight each other.

    Get it now?

Edit: Oh and btw, great to see you again, Skywalker Inc!

What has happened? The Domain is empty. Once again, no entries for the poetry/literature contest, even though I extended it to three days. The Sith Demolition Order is dying.
