Dooku fangirl? Well that's cool. Nice to see that a character besides shirtless Anakin is gettin' some fangirl lovin'.

Yep I felt the poor Count was left out so I wrote several one posties, couple songfics, and even a saga (so to speak 3 parts) with my ole Master as Dooku in his younger Jedi days (when he was Master of Qui-Gon Jinn)

I try to give the poor man credit he's due!

So what's your fave character to write?

 

We got nailed by a wet, heavy snowstorm last Wednesday into Thursady, Kyn. Power lines went down-and in some instances caught on fire. My house lost power 4 times over the night and we also lost cable for most of the day. Wasn't too fun, there.

I just found out that I am going to go and see the Dalai Lama in a couple of weeks. My husband surprised me with tickets just a few minutes ago (it's near impossible to get into this engagement). I am very very very very very excited.

Kyn, we're both doing all right Hubby finishes up the last of his test prep classes tonight and then he'll be free in the evenings again, at least until June

 

I've been trying to write the same songfic on and off for the past six months. I've even changed songs, but maintained the theme. Anyone out there with songic experience that would be willing to help?

And I can help with songfics, sorta.

 

From the existing cast of characters, it's hard to say. In my limited career I?ve been all over the board: a little ?what if? fic with the Mustafar scene, one with 2-1B, one with Luke telling the Solo children a story, a short little piece with Asajj Ventress, etc.

I can tell you which I wouldn?t like to write: the post-ROTJ characters. Although I?ve read a majority of the novels dealing with the era, I swear I have a hard time remembering events, who is the boyfriend/girlfriend of whom, etc. I?d be afraid of butchering something pretty badly.

Of course, a little research would fix that right up.

My most recent stuff has been pretty OC-centric.

 

Snow in April? I recall four years ago, snow on April 10th or so in Connecticut. This winter is getting out of hand.

Okay, someone tell me when they think that Breha Organa died.

 

I think she died not too long after Leia was brought into her life. Cuz according to the comics (Republic ones) she had a rough recovery if to be ever fully from trying to have a kid. Bail looked really concern on that page.

I think that part with Leia stating she saw her mum's face and it being sad and beautiful is Breha and not Padme...but shoot Lucas might've meant it to be Padme *shrugs* Juz my humble ole opinion

It ended up being not terribly serious and there was no lightsaber play. Probably disappointed a lot of people.
