I wonder if it will end like Anakin, Everyone thnks he's dead but no, he's really in a suit of armor and mask now forever. He's made hints of bad things to happen to him even worse then death.

 

Does anyone think that Kylo will be demoted again to 2nd in the First Order Evil Hierarchy with the new people being cast? Cuz I loved how Last Jedi set it up for Supreme Leader Kylo Ben, that's awesome.

I think JJ goes a bit more for Evil Kylo than Johnson did. Well, Johnson did double down on Evil Kylo by the end but he pushed his conflict up a lot more. However, Kylo had just, y'know, murdered his dad. "The deed split you in two, you were unbalanced!"

 

I don't know, I think Johnson gave a lot more nuance to Ben than the flatter one we got in TFA, but I think they both see him as pretty evil.

That being said, I think a lot of the characterization of Kylo in TFA came from the Kasdan half of the writing pair - for good and for ill, I remember him making some comments on how unique Kylo's backstory was that made it seem like he didn't know even the general outline of Anakin's prequel storyline. So I guess we'll see what Abrams himself (and Terrio) make of his character minus Kasdan.

 

Stop saying stuff like this or you're going to make me very disappointed when it doesn't actually happen.

Apparently, the big Ep 9 buzz is some Reddit leaks going on, and of course when I say leaks I mean, hersay that could be possible until proven otherwise....Man, we are desperately in need of some official stuff to talk about with this film.

 

Don't trust clickbait websites, don't even acknowledge them.

 

To be fair, the user who posted this new one is reasonably reliable, and has given accurate information before. However, even they point out this one's based on hearsay circling the production, so while it might be genuine, it's genuine rumours.

Still, I'm pretty much all for it if it turns out to be true.
