The EUC Starfighter Draft - Episode III: Revenge of the TIEs

After a little bit of a hiatus while yours truly was enjoying Celebration III, I would like to welcome you all back to the Third Installment of the EUC Starfighter Draft!!

After completing two successful Drafts in the EUC, won by Saber_Leader and Talon_Kenobi respectively, we're back and ready to continue our triumphant game for all to enjoy! First off, let me go over the general rules of the thread:


Rules:

1. 1. VIPs - Colors - Titles: Once again, the winner of the Starfighter Draft will be awarded VIP status and colors for the duration of one week. The Winner is the only person who will get colors, so don't even ask. However, all others involved in the Draft, (GMs, judges, etc.) to put their information in their sig.

Also, though I mentioned it last time around, I would like to get some people to submit a "SFD Winner" icon. I'd love to have multiple entries so that we can vote for one in the Draft and I can submit that.

2. One Draft at a Time: It's confusing enough as it is to keep one Draft a float, so we're going to be sticking to the single Starfighter Draft.

3. Leave Your Problems At the Door: If any personal problems or disputes arise in the midst of the Draft, please refrain from playing them out in the thread. Take care of things outside the Draft, and if problems persist, contact either myself, or one of the Mods, and we'll see what can be done.

4. Obey the Forums Rules: Talking and discussions is encouraged, so long as nothing gets too heated. Just follow the normal forum rules, (no flamming/spamming/trolling, etc.) and you should be fine. Please respect everyone else in the game; it'll work out better for everyone.

5. (New Rule) No Replacing the Commissioner!: If I'm going to be out for an extended period of time, then i'll arrange for someone to act as temporary Commissioner until I return. GMs and Judges will not take it onto themselves to find a new Commish to fill in if I happen to be absent.

Ok, now that I've got that all out of the way, we are all set to begin th next edition of the EUC Starfigher Draft!!

I've already filled the judges positions with those people who contacted me with an interest in judging, and I must say we've got three excellent judges. Our judging table will be filled by Gaeri, Saber_Leader, and Pellaeon-Firke.

What we do need, however, is our compliment of 12 General Managers. The GMs will be responsible for creating a competitive team of 6 pilots, creating a squadron name, and managing their team for as far as they get in the competitions. The judges will be responsible for deciding the winners once the competitions get underway. I'll be going over the requirements of the GMs and the judges once we get underway, but if you have any questions, check out the previous two threads:

If you still have any questions after that, let me know and I'll see what help I can provide. If you are interested in being a GM, all you have to do is put your name down on the list. It's pretty much first come, first serve, aside from defending Champion Talon_Kenobi who is guarenteed a spot. Also, per special exception, I'm putting adaml83's name on the list.

I think that takes care of all my official business, so what do you say we get this thing underway?

EDIT: I have a recommendation for someone to be added to the draft list: Lt. Erk h'Arman. He's in the Jedi Trial novel, and I think we see enough of him that he could be easily added to the list.

I hope not! I've relied on luck and "sexy"-ness ( ) for the past two drafts.

 

Talon, why does the sig still say "Starfighter Draft Runner Up (Twice)"? Since you won the damned thing, you ought to put it in your sig.

Corran: are we going to put Atton Rand on the list, or are we sticking with the ONLY FIGHTER PILOTS rule?

 

Who would pick Rand anyways? All he does is crash.
