The type of weapon Kylo is going against though, those are probably like what the Praetorians are gonna have though right? Kylo is totally gonna fight them at the end of the movie.

I honestly have so much faith in RJ to create a movie that completely subverts our expectations but does it in a way that is grounded in the characters and the story that's being told. this movie is going to be so good lol

 

I don't have the exact wording, but it goes like:

-Snoke betrays Kylo for not killing Rey
-Rey goes with Snoke
-Luke sacrifices himself/has an ambiguous fate
-Kylo/Finn/Poe are left on the falling ship

 

It's good to finally get a close up look of the Spacehorse's face. I am betting the little boy that Finn is patting on the shoulder (at the 2:04 min mark) is the stable boy, in charge of the Spacehorse. I remember someone Posting about an Extra Casting part, for "Stableboy".

DJ is wearing the pill hat type of hat, that MSW was talking about. It looks funny.

 

Damn that's way better than the teaser for me. So stoked. Looks like Finn could end up planetside on Crait. Wasn't expecting that.

Loved all the emphasis on it being new and unexpected, and then it closed on CF saying it's all about family. Perfect for me. Family makes SW. It's different, but it doesn't change the fundamentals.

 

I do - it's the finale:

Snoke betrays Kylo cause he won't kill Rey

Rey leaves the crashing SD (it's actually MD - mega destroyer) with Snoke.

Luke sacrifices himself but it's ambiguous (whether he dies or not meaning not)

Kylo, Finn, Poe and BB8 are left on MD that's crashing on the planet below

Kylo kills Phasma (not specified when, how and why)

Posted this in the D23 thread but given that some of it is my wild speculation on the footage, this thread is probably better:

Things the presentation revealed and/or seemed to confirm:

Finn vs Phasma is happening

Rey and Finn are on Crait

Snoke's throne room? (the big red room early in the video, plus Kylo looking fancy as he exits an elevator to cross a catwalk)

Poe, Rose and Finn hatch a plan together.

Finn and Rose either break out of or into a jail.

DJ on his ship.

The trenches on Crait (exploding red sand shot, and possibly Poe sliding to a narrow gap that could be part of their defenses)

Rey winds up in the water (wait, does Jakku have swimming pools?) on Ahch-To, and it looks like an underwater sequence was shot.

Someone gets thrown hard (force pushed?) into the air at the Canto Bight Casino. Combined with the strange, lightsaber-y destruction of a Canto Bight speeder, is this confirmation a force user is on Canto Bight and if so, who is it?

 

Based on that video, I'm guessing that "fresh and new" is the new "real desert"?

 

I wonder if Finn and Rose get captured on the SD. Also good point about Canto Bight. I'm really wondering if Del Toro is a force user now. Maybe this trilogy will introduce us (onscreen) to the idea of non-Jedi/Sith/involved in galactic affairs, underground force users through him? Could be cool world building.

That's valid actually, and a nice way to differentiate how the two approach problems.

And a flight suit, which makes me wonder if his flying one of the fighters in the Walker scene.

Just looking at the few shots we new have of the Casino scene, it looks to me that it is going to take a lot of inspiration form The Shining's ballroom scene.

 

It's freakin hilarious they spoiled Rey and Finn reunion on Crait but they just won't show Kylo on Ahch-to even though the actors were caught arriving to Ireland. Like, seriously. Why such mystery?

 

Ok, it';s official, these 2 are going to have the best story line hands down. I'm waiting for Finn in jail cap (I think he's in jail) but this looks awesome:
