My sister finally returned him two days ago. But my mother got mad at me for leaving Galax lying around, so she threw him and I don't know where he landed.

The good news is, the first post of Celebrate the Power will be ready to go up as soon as I type it up. Math class is a wonderful thing.

Hmm, Ewok related stuff...

I used my baby Ewok puppet to teach science to fifth graders this week.

 

An Ewok Haven thread. Interesting! You folks are probably aware of both of these, but I thought I'd post them anyway:

A gem of a story I found on the fanfic boards here at TFN: Scales of the Dragon: Keiko, a young Ewok on the verge of adulthood, uses his memory of an old legend to rescue a "good'un" (Rebel soldier) from an Imperial stormtrooper. (I think this takes place pre-RotJ.)

Also, the Databank at the official Star Wars site has several screens of information on Ewoks.

 

I hadn't seen that fic before! Thanks for pointing it out, it's great!

I found the Databank entry while looking for pictures to make a calendar for a friend.

 

You're welcome. I've also got a short Ewok fic of my own on the "Fairy Tale Thread", about midway down the board, here: Tegra and the Three Explorers. It's an adaptation of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears", with a bit of a twist.

Ewoks rule! I loved them ever since I saw Wicket talking to Leia. It was funny watching the Ewoks beat up stromtroopers and AT ST walkers. The two Ewok movies made for TV were awesome and I hope they come out on DVD someday.
