    Only just started watching this after it being recommended by a couple people. Started it last night and had to force myself to stop and go to bed after episode 7 of the 1st season.

    I love this show.

    He did create a monster, I'm full on obsessed. We finished it a week or so ago and I went back and watched the first two episodes again last night. I ordered Amos' patches from his jumpsuit for an outfit I'm planning on making, got them in today and they are awesome!

    I'm early on in the second book and love them so far as well.

    That aspect is worse in subsequent series - my wife and I ended up blitzing the entire third series in a day.

    We didn't plan to, it just happened, OK?

    It's great. When you get around to the books, I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.

    As far as I've heard, Daniel and Ty are still working on the last book. There's not an official title or release date yet.

    Up to S3 E5

    I think my favorite character is Amos and I want to know so much more about him. His repeating Prax's words about best friends in the whole just gutted me.

    Other things that wowed me, the Protomolecule rising from Venus and the slingshotter who went first thru the ring... the visuals of this show are outstanding.

    I hate how quickly I'm going thru this and want so much more of this.

    Edit: Also very surprised about Miller showing up. Though that has given my certain theories about the protomolecule and Holden.

    Triple Point is probably my favorite episode of the series still. But then again on the whole, season was fantastic.

    I think for the most part. Season 3 in my opinion is where the most noticeable veer away from the books happen. But I won't go any further than that so I don't spoil anything.
    Season 1 consists of parts of book 1 and 2, season 2 parts of book 2 and and 3, and season 3 parts of book 3 and 4. At least that is how I viewed it. As far as the novels go, I have all 8 thus far, and am reading 6 (Not very far in)

    Season 3 finale was superb with a wonderful tease about 'what killed those that created the protomolecule'.

    Actually that is a question I still haven't gotten the answer to yet. I reading my way slowly towards it.

    And season 4 also veers away from the book some. To me it wasn't bad, but there were indeed a few changes.

    Read the novellas! They're fun and generally provide hints of coming attractions. Strange Dogs might be my favorite.

    Finished the series... content sigh...

    So many good things, Miller's metamorphorsis/highjacking into whatever it is that he was and Dr. Okoye helping him. I was so pleased that another person got to interact with him. Draper's arc and coming full circle to Chrisjen. Ashford's end... whoa to that too.

    Looking so forward to the next season.

    If they can adapt Book 5 to the screen we will be in for some great television. I'm talking possible awards. Book 5 was just awesome.
