Amph The Fast & The Furious (Fast X)

Goddamn, I really hope Helen Mirren ends up behind the wheel of a really tricked out racer at some point.

 

My guess is she'll spend the entire film with her blinker on. I keed! I keed!

I love how far this franchise has come. I mean, I thought the Fast franchise was a fad film like Breakin and Breaking 2: Electric Boogaloo, but looks at it now, everyone wants a part of it.

 

I'm assuming she'll reprise her Oscar winning role as the queen of England who gets kidnapped by serial murderer Aileen Wuornos, played by Charlize who's also reprising her Oscar winning role.

It's like if The Color of Money got integrated into the Rambo franchise back in the 80's-90's.

 

I'm looking forward to the new trailer, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY! Woot woot!

The F&F film names have always amused me and now this.

 

The Fate of The Furious is a perfectly absurd name for this series, though it would make much more sense as a title if this were the last film.

 

If they don't do "Fast and Fur10us" there will be hell to pay.

 

Well, since Charlize Theron is the villain in this film and based on her character's name in Mad Max: Fury Road, the title of the movie should really be: "The Fast and the Furiosa."

 

8: The Fate of the Furious
9: The Fate of the Fast
10: The Duel of the Fates

 

They actually added another F-word to the series title scheme! (Tokyo Drift aside but that had the out of being a colon subtitle) Took 'em 8 movies but this is a huge development.

Anyway, I wonder what the scale on this one will be because they've pushed the absurdist superhero heist movies with cars to a point. Although they can't exactly go to street racing as a climax again. I'm seriously hoping the series eventually goes to outer space. And the outer space one makes a billion dollars because it would be awesome if the one time a franchise decides to go to outer space is a commercial success.

 

Why didn't they just call it F&F: Civil War?

 

Clearly the 9th film will be Redomemption.

 

So the Rock vs Vin Disel BTS feud drama was really just promotion for their on-screen feud, right? Anyway, more Hobbs would be for the best.

Looks completely ridiculous and stupid. And I absolutely love it.

The way this series is going and since Universal owns both, give me a Jurassic/Furious crossover

 

"DOM, you gonna turn your back on family?!"

Well, for Charlize Theron?! I don't blame him.

 

The only way this get more gloriously ridiculous is if it turns out Dom actually has an evil twin.

 

No worries, we'll get more crazier stunts next movie. Also can't wait to hear more cheesy lines from Hobbs. He's had several lines in each movie that has me laugh out loud inside the theater so far. And of course for Dom to say yet again for the third time i think? "One last ride."
