    Still haven't seen Hobbs and Shaw, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest for an announcement for Hobbs & Shaw 2, 3, 4, and 5 to come out and "compete" against Avatar 2-5.

    More bad C-130 stuff. I hope that one they were boarding was not expected to fly; the forward nose landing door was hanging down about a foot when it should be tucked up even with the fuselage. Try to fly with it that far out of rig and it will probably buffet so bad it will tear off in mid-air, then you have to go through the butt-ton of paperwork for a dropped object.

    Sort of like how Cypher was the overall villain from Fast 4 on (like how Owen Shaw was behind Arturo Braga in 4 even though he didn't make his presence known until 6).

    Yeah- if they knew this would be 10 films and could somehow preplan it, there would definitely be more seeds for 4+ in 1-3 (and Tokyo Drift either wouldn't happen or would have been chronological and very different, instead of having to stretch out Han's death and then resurrect him).

    In fact, Vin talks about that in that same article, in the process revealing that Michael Caine will be involved in the franchise as Shaw's father:

    “I guess if I were to think where we’re going with the next chapter – Michael Caine. I might have found a way – you’re saying if I could have redesigned the mythology or added little elements of the mythology – I could have done something with Helen Mirren and Michael Caine’s character and played something out. I could have introduced something [for] the future.”​

    So, what's stupider? Space, magnets or the "secret brother" twist?

    Well, they handle the latter better than you'd expect. And the former much less than you'd expect. But magnets, while stupid, are awesome (but, really, how do they work? ;) ).

    And, yeah, the trailer is basically the whole movie, minus some flashback elements (which they do nod nicely to with the old-school Universal logo at the start of the film).

    It was also fun to see audiences utterly confused at the Jurassic World extended preview. [face_laugh]

    There is literally a line in this movie where someone goes "As long as we obey the laws of physics, we'll be ok." And I'm like "Oh, then you're so screwed."

    I was going to joke about having the cars do whatever they want, like flying without any means of creating lift, but apparently they already went there by flying a car into space or whatever.

    It's time for the Transformers crossover, that's where you go next. Unless they're also in 9?

    After that they can turn their cars into time machines and interact with themselves in the original F&F. They can also go back to 1977 so Brian O'Conner can become his own father, to explain why he doesn't remember him.

    One thing I do like, though,
    is that, even though it took 6 movies to do it, they've finally integrated the Tokyo Drift crew into the main crew- albeit in a supporting role in this film. Not just the cameo we had in 7 or 8 or whenever it was.
