Solo The Fastest Hunk of Junk in the Galaxy

    The trick, though, is not total asymmetry. It's generally simple and symmetrical (a circle with mandibles for the Falcon, for example), but with a little asymmetric tweak, which is the placement of the cockpit. That's great Star Wars design. A simple and striking silhouette, but with that extra bit to give it character. IMO, McQuarrie and Chiang are the two SW artists who understood/ understand this best.

    I love the B-Wing as well. They sort of replicated the idea with those ski-speeders on Crait in The Last Jedi, which I think have been the best designed vehicle in the sequel trilogy so far.

    Dash Rendar’s “Outrider” is another great ship design in the same vein.

    The Falcon is nice, but Han Solo made it cool, not the other way around in my opinion.

    I'd like to have that ship Dryden Vos had in Solo. (First Light)
