Hmmm, things are just getting interesting!

An equal 15 points between first, second and third.

You gotta start asking questions about The Jango Fettstar's. After leading the league for so long, I heard the bookies were even paying out on those who had made bets on them winning. However, they have blown their massive lead and now sit a worrying 30 points off the top spot. With Welshguy Rovers pumping in good scores and Loon FC maintaining a steady march to the a possible first title, it looks like the Fettstar's need to get back to the drawing board if they are to still challenge for the championship.

As of yet no statement has been issued by the Fettstar's and the continued rumors of the Russian porn barren's takeover bid.

Welshguy Rovers have moved a further 2 points closer to Loon FC and now sit 13 points off the top of the league.

The Jango Fettster's maintain their 30 gap to the top of the league.

The chasing pack of Daver's Darth Side, Hadjuk Beak, The Jonalution and the Championship Yellows have all made inroads into The Fettster's third place position.

Further down the league, ObiWonCon FC scored well and Everton FC has started to show signs of imrpoving by moving up a place to 16th. Though whether or not this will be enough for Everton to keep his job in the Spring remains to be seen.

    Still in contention.

Would've been even better if I hadn't transferred out Mido thinking he'd have left for the African Nations Championship by now:oops:

Welshguy you are either the most cunning man in the whole wide world or the luckiest! :p (I suggest the former)

Who would have thought it? An assist by William Gallas!

My small lead is being nibbled away :( I hate Sol Cambell. All he does is get injured, anyone else notice that he gets 'injured' each time England get a friendly? Yet he is always fit when England play a international... Suspicous ;)

Your lead would have been chomped, rather than nibbled if I hadn't made the double balls up of thinking that Mido had left for the African Nations cup, thus getting rid of him a week early and then replacing him with Camara, a player who HAD left for the African Nations cup.

So then I had to replace Camara with another player, in all costing me 8 points!!

Still, at least Gallas made up for it by getting an assist.

It's little things like this that can decide championships.[face_worried]

Edit: I think this could be turning into a two horse race. The JangoFettsters have had another bad week. Murphy didn't play and the rest of his team did pretty average.

Indeed, I think I may have to surrender the lead to but make some drastic changes, a winning move or a killing move ;)

Its annoying to see all the players I had in the first week of play scoring! I knew they would play well eventually ;)

How messed up is it that a team 4th from bottom has had the highest score this week. Bloody Henry!

Now who is the cunning young manager of this breakout side???

Why, it's non other than our supreme overlord Jairen!

A score that good could very well save him from relegation.

Looks like The JangoFettsters didn't do quite as badly as I thought. They gained a point on Loon FC and only lost one to Welshguy Rovers. Looks like they aint out of it yet.

Yeah, Sunderland did well Sunday. =D= Even the mighty reds let 4 in against Chelsea and you were unlucky with the deflection on the last goal. But thats Chelsea, they are the luckiest bloody sods in the premiership! They always scrap a goal to just about see them through when they don't really deserve it.

But again, well done Sunderland. =D=

IMO, if you lose then you didn't play all that well, or better then the other team.
But Sunderland played well, and did deserve a draw.

Chelsea are showing signs of being slightly shakey, and this could mean that a big team could topple them if they attack and defend equally well

Sunderland's problem was they attacked at the beginning and scored, then conseeded, then made one attack at the end of the first half and failed to score.
But in the second half they didn't threaten as much, they seemed unable to string conherant passing attacks together, and so just went about trying to defend.

This is what most teams have done against Chelsea, and it hasn't worked

What needs to happen is for a team to attack all the time, not go defensive cos they're afraid of counter attacking or cos their passing fails.

So maybe next time Chelsea play Untied or Liverpool then they might be defeated cos those teams will not stop trying to get goals.

I didnt realise Chelsea were playing while tied up at the minute- might explain Sunderland nearly getting a draw.

Welsguy Rovers move a few points closer to the leader, leaving them on 13 points off top place. Loon FC and the JangoFettsters continue their freakish series of results where they are getting exactly the same scores?

Further down the league, Ogli's Allstars and Rich-E-FC are the only teams in the top 10 to have made any inroads into the leaders. Despite their good weeks, it still leaves them around 100 points off the leaders, and at this stage in the season you have to wonder if it's too little too late.

Further down the league, Championship Yellows have lost lots of ground with a very poor score of 26. With only one player scoring more than 4 points (Harewood - 5) has seen them sent down to 9th place and bottom of a large group of clubs that are fighting for European places.

Further down the league still, Everton 2 have slipped back to 17th place with a poor 30 point return from his "trio of terror" midfield formation. With The Phant-ORN menace scoring an impressive 56 points and Cobra's getting a solid 42 points, things now look increasingly unatainable for Everton.

Towards the bottom of the league comes the biggest suprise of the week. Flying out of the relegation zone like Meatloaf astride a burning Hell bound Harley, KFC in hand, comes Big J's Bashers. Jairen's cunning captaincy of Henry resulted in the best score of the week with an impressive 65 points. This still leaves him some 80 points off the next team, but has given him a healthy 24 point cushion to the drop zone.

So who will win and who will get relegated? Who knows?

    RIO FERDINAND!

    I could kiss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seconds left and it looked like being a 0-0 draw, but Rio pops up, gets one in and gives me a mighty 12 point score!

If that wasn't good enough, he also took 8 points from Loon FC's Liverpool bassed defence.

    Just one point behind now!

    JUST 1 POINT!

I could even be in the lead after all the bonuses are awarded.

    Nervous yet Looney boy?

    LOL!

Nervous yes! You will probably go top after the points have been completed :(

However I would have been gutted had Town not smashed Southampton away but we did, can you imagine how depressing it is to go to a home match see you side put in a crap performance and then come home to find the Premiership games have gone against you as well? But Town have turned it around so I'm in a good mood regardless of Rio Ferdinand scumbag and them taking an assist away from Giannakopoulos, Lee McCulloch not playing and Chelsea failing to keep a clean sheet against crap teams, no wait I'm still gutted :p

I will wait one more week and if luck doesn't go my way I'm going to change the team! They are chanting 'Loon out' outside the gates of my home (I wish I really had gates).

    Bugger!

They have awarded the assist to Giannakopoulos after all. Which means that Loon FC have extended their lead by an extra 3 points to 4.

Looks like this may just about keep the fans off his back for another couple of days.

If only Rooney and Gerrard didn't get booked. I could be top by now. :(
