Orn, if you haven't already, you might as well boot Kippax FC.

16 points today. Not bad. Still got 3 or 4 players yet to play, including my captain.

25 points and still a few players to play (and subs to count).

The way it's going, Darth Terrious will be the first to be gamebanned :p Can he make up the points today? ;)

Personally I didnt like this "gameban" thing and I wish I'd not entered the league if we gonna be so stupid as to include that rule.

Having said that, I'll be a man and hold up my hands and say my team selection was shocking.

The irony of all this is my Telegraph team did far better than this ***** team.

I shouldn't have picked Dawson as I knew friday evening he was injured, and Benni McCarthy's injury was very unfortunate.

Still at least Essien and Evra got me some points but I'm accpeting I'm last this week.

I'm amazed that despite getting 39 points I'm well near the bottom.

well luckily it didnt matter I sneaked it by 5 points [face_laugh]

But I'm sure it was reported somewhere friday evening that he'd picked up a knock. I usually take that as a reason to put someone else in but I didnt get that chance.

Thank god for Essien and Ferdinand I guess.

It encourages competition. Don't see anything wrong with it. It's only a 24 hour gameban and you can post with a sock anyway. No biggy.

Also, congrats to elbertino for drawing first blood. Let's see if you can keep it up for the rest of the season ;)

Thought i'd give you guys a bit of a headstart before I smack you down, like the Leeds Utd that you all are!!!

Got quite a few changes to make to my team. With McCarthy, Essien and Dawson injured, there's going to be a lot of changes.

Still, fairly decent start to the season. The first game always has the big unkown factor about it. A player that was awsome at the end of
last season could really suck now. Give it a few games to get a fairer balance of where everyone lies.

But it does look like ObiWanCon will be my Chelsea again this season. Just gotta keep an eye out for anyone else threatening to get into the top 4.

Given Jenas and Berbatov form something of a centre to my team I am slightly stunned to find myself fourth, those 'scummers' (Essian & Van Persie) did me a few favours mind...I might need to swap Jenas for someone with a clue how to create a goal...

Welshy, you dismiss the Raccoons far to easily. It was a solid opening day, if I had made my keeper captain instead of the Portuguese idiot, I would of had 10 extra points, but hindsight is wonderful. 41 points with 10 players, a transfer made early doors has cost me 4 points, but the team has more strength all round now. It is a marathon, not a sprint.

To be honest, I don't really know what posters are what teams.

It would be a lot easier for me if everyone could have named their team after themselves.

    Like wot I did!!!

Still, the mighty Raccoon City FC are the dark horses for this season.

    But you know what?

I eat "dark horses" for breakfast! And wash it down with a steaming hot cup of "suprise package"!

There's a list of teams and their FF usernames on the previous page, Welshguy (that is, if you go by 50 posts per page. If not, I have no clue) :p
