Safina gulped at Master Jahid's question about how she met Adon and August. Now that was a long story.

"We, ummm, ran into some trouble on Nar Shaddaa. These men helped me. We should arrange for some recompense for them, when we meet on Eriadu. I am afraid I still only have old Republic credits."

The images of the Jedi masters faded away and Safina sucked in a deep breath. The warning had been passed, and she was on her way to reuniting with the other Jedi. Perhaps not as quickly as was needed, but she had to make the best of the situation.

She also needed to focus on her near brush with the Dark Side. The monster still prowled at the edges of her subconscious.

"Everyone, please may I ask for some time alone? I need to... meditate."

She almost said atone, but did not want to reveal her inner turmoil to these people. These people just did not understand. She gestured for them to leave by the door into the bedroom.

"If you could let me know when we are about to land?" she said to Adon.

    IC: Farnun Venat
Aboard the Genet Galar, en route to Eriadu

Farnun blinked several times in disbelief.

What did she mean, she needed ‘time alone’? After what just happened? There was so much the two needed to talk about, but alas, that was not to be. Farnun could feel an odd sense of ‘distance’, or perhaps a ‘wall’ that now surrounded Safina. She didn’t even look him in the eye as before.

“Fine.” He muttered under his breath as he turned to leave her presence. Perhaps it was for the best. Everyone who got too close to the scoundrel would either end up hurt, or dead or betrayed. He was alone in the galaxy, nothing would change that. He wasn’t living inside a fantasy holo-drama. But as long as there was an Empire, he would fight to his last breath.

Hardening his features, Farnun marched himself out, for the moment, ignoring everyone else. They couldn’t get to Eriadu fast enough, as far as he was concerned. The scoundrel positioned himself near the ship’s cockpit so he could gaze out into the hyperspace tunnel, which seemed a metaphor for his life. He was traveling fast, going in circles, running from his past, but what was his destination, what was his purpose?

At least he wouldn’t be handed over to the Empire as bounty. That was a comforting thought, but he couldn’t afford to let down his guard. Only the armored bounty hunter, Adon, has promised as much, the other man, August, had said nothing of the sort.

    Farnun sighed.

Fine. Safina would return to the jedi, like she so desperately wanted. He would focus on fighting the Empire, then in the middle of it all, find an opportunity to disappear again. No one would miss one lonesome pilot at the end of the day.

Yeah. That sounded like a good plan.

The sudden turn around in attitude and the smile from Safina made Adon wary. After all the heated push-back, there was no way she had suddenly changed her mind. Something else was going through her head, or he wasn’t Mandalorian.

Still, the break in discussion was not unwelcome, and he nodded to Safina when she asked for some time aside by herself.

“We’ll be linking up with help mid-flight, but I’ll let you know when we drop out of hyperspace and reach the rendezvous point. Then we can decide if we need to land somewhere or push on,” he informed her. “In the meantime, feel free to make use of the room.”

He watched Farnun leave, noting the expression on his face, before turning and walking out too.

With fewer people in the small room, details were a bit more noticeable. The bed she had woken up on was against the wall opposite the doorway, set into the paneling like an alcove to maximize space. The sheet on it was red and not bad quality. Along the walls were several display cases of various sizes, their contents locked away behind transparasteel doors that showed the contents but kept them secured. Most items were trinkets of various origins, or weapons. A Gungan energy shield, an Imperial E-11 blaster rifle, even a lightbow from Jedha.

From the assortment of the collection, it was clear that Adon was a bit of a collector. The most notable display, however, was a stand in a small case at roughly chest level on the wall. On the stand was perched a lightsaber, made of simple silver metal and a leather wrap. It was slightly smaller than the average hilt, but it was in excellent condition, aside from some signs of hard use. Set into the stand of the lightsaber was a single blue kyber crystal, the kind that would be set in a lightsaber to focus the blade and give color.

Above the lightsaber display, another similar display was set up. The contents, though similar, were of a different story. In it was an identical stand, and on it a lightsaber. However, this one was no Jedi saber, but an inquisitor’s blade made of dark metal and featuring the half-circled emitter that was so common on such blades. Most notably, however, was the condition of the hilt. Where the lower lightsaber was taken care of, this one had a sizeable gouge midway on the hilt, and the crystal inside was completely missing. If not for a slim band of metal holding the hilt together, the entire weapon would have been cut in two. On the stand itself, there was no kyber crystal, but instead the same leering face of the Nexu that was painted in the cargo bay. Somehow, this Nexu appeared more angry, and the paint was less neat compared to the mural in the cargo bay.

Beyond the bedroom, Adon had made a stop at the lockers under the painted Nexu. With a low buzz, one of the lockers sprung open, revealing a suit of Mandalorian armor on an armor hanger. With a quick tap on his gauntlet, Adon reached up and pulled his left pauldron free. He then pulled the pauldron off the suit in the locker and fit it onto himself. It was somewhat bulkier, painted black with red markings, and had a blade catcher that helped cover the side of his neck. Inside the locker were also a few weapons, such as blasters and a tall glaive fitted with a vibration generator.

Shutting the locker, Adon went to another locker and repeated the same process, though this time with his right gauntlet and some belt items. This locker also had Mandalorian armor, though the thickness of some of the plates were seemingly far heavier than the others. There was also an assortment of small explosives, some of which Adon took and attached to his belt, and a TL-50 repeater that Adon swapped for his slugthrower.

After updating his armor, Adon headed toward the cockpit, where he found Farnun again, staring out into hyperspace. He glided by the man to take a seat in the pilot chair, looking forward at the tunnel they were flying through. Close by, Prowler sat at his droid terminal, his optical lenses turning to look at Adon, then back at his work.

“A bit hypnotic, isn’t it,” Adon quipped, glancing back at Farnun. A subtle nod of his helmet indicated one of the open seats for him to sit in.

    GM Update.

    IC: Tanal Jahid
    Eridau, Spaceport.

Tanal came out of hyperspace and the planet of Eridau filled the viewport. It was truly a magnificent planet even by his standards. Tanal took the ship and touched down in a public spaceport. He then left the ship and began to take in his sorroundings including the exterior of the new scarlet vessel. He watched as many civilians and workers alike went about their daily life's without a care in the world that the empire was now in control of almost the entire galaxy. Tanal's large black eyes spotted an old castle in the distance. He boarded the vessel once more and sent corridents to Safina. Hopefully she would get them so that they could meet the Nutolan Jedi master at the castle. He then took off and made his way towards the castle. The castle looked old and looked as if he and the others would not be bothered not with the nearest town being some miles away. He touched down outside the main castle and powered down the ship before sitting back in the poilets seat and awaited the arrival of his Padawan, Farnun, The Mandolorian he had seen and his gingar haired freind.

    IC: Avinn Neir
    Sullest Space, Prison Barge.

Avinn fought bravely against the inquisitors and the stormtroopers. He could tell that he wasn't the only one who was. Both Ash and Gerald were well into this. That's when he heard a voice that was not familiar to him.

"Watch your left flank" He heard and Avinn only just spun in time to block the blade of another inquisitor. It was lucky the new being had shouted or Avinn may as well have been Scrambled Rebel. Avinn turned his head and saw the being in his armor which had a skull painted over the helmet and bones painted over the shoulder, chest, and arms and he was welding a blue Lightsaber. Avinn rebounded blast after blast as he made his way to this figure. It was difficult reaching him but he did it.
"Who are you may I ask?" He said as the blaster fire threatened to drown the sound of his voice but it would reach thearmour clad being. Just then the group was sorrounded by the stormtroopers and the grand inquisitor was stood ahead of them, chuckling as he took in the scene around him. The rebels and their new freind were sorrounded.
"You have been a thorn in the empires side for far too long. If you join the empire and help us to take down the rest of the Rebellion then we will mat you live. Refuse us and you will die. Either way, the Rebellion will not survive must longer than it has." Explained the inquisitor taking in the fact that every being ahead of him had either a yellow, green or blue saber. These were clearly Jedi and he chucked the grand inquisitor chuckeld.
"Foli's Jo op hio Jo?" Asked Avinn in his native language of Inani. Unlucky for him there was a protocol droid standing near the grand inquisitor.
"What did he just say?" Asked The grand inquisitor to the protocol droid.
"He asked what's in it for us" Replied the droid. Avinn was surprised that the droid knew his language but he shrugged it off as he remembered that C-3P0 had understood him and he was fluent in over six million forms of communication.
"If you join us. You can be sure that you will have a good place amoung the inquisitor army. Either way the choice is yours." The inquisitor added.

    Eriadu.

You could get no more Imperial than that.

Dev came out of hyperspace and was immediately on his guard. A Y wing flying into an Imperial system might as well have a neon sign on it with TARGET PRACTICE written in big letters on him.

If they did decide to come after him though he would make sure to put a show on and take as many out as he could.

"Right, this will have to be a quick stop" he said to Q "We sit around too long we'll have Imps all over us. And we can't land, that's too risky even for me. If we get spotted we'll be roasted and I don't fancy dying today"

Unlike normal ships, Y wings could not change thier transponders to disguise themselves. He would be broadcasting his own transponder code.

Q whistled "I know, there has to be a safe world around here somewhere. Let's see…."

Dev quickly pulled up a map and scouted around, he grinned. "Bingo, Polis Massa. There's a Rebel base there. It'll use up the rest of our fuel but we could get some there, do a weapons reload and it's not far from a junction. Brilliant".

Q whistled happily "Alright buddy and we'll get you out and you can stretch your wheels. Plot the coordinates".

Dev settled back in his seat to wait whilst Q got busy.

    August
    Genet Galar

August smirked very, very softly. He wandered around the ship until he found a spot to himself. He sat, crossing his legs and resting his hands on his knees. He lit yet another cigarra, leaving it between his lips and closing his eyes.

The smoke curled around him, creating a haze covering his features. He mused to himself. He had indeed found a very strange group to keep company with. He wondered what would come of it. Safina surely had a fiery temper that would come back to cause trouble. August also wondered why Adon had so willingly handed Safina her light-saber in return. August caught a glimpse of that hunger. It was in her eyes. He could almost... taste it.

It seemed all had a degree of darkness in them, these days.

He pondered. What of Farnun? Perhaps he may grow frustrated with Safina, with her seemingly complete lack of communication. It was entirely possible, after all.

Adon still continued to elude August. He couldn't quite... read him. Of course, this may well be easier if the helmet was absent, but all the same, August would continue to keep an eye on that one.

He shook his head, exhaling a large plume of smoke.

Such a fragile group. It seemed that at the smallest push, it would topple like a house of cards.

August smirked. What excellent luck he had, to be surrounded by such fine comrades.

    What excellent luck indeed.

    IC: Safina
    The Genet Galar... in body
    [IMG]

Once she was alone, Safina gathered herself and sat down, straight backed and cross-legged in the centre of the now empty room. She rested her hands palm-up on her knees. Then she closed her eyes.

Breathing in and out, she tried to find the state of inner calm as instructed by her masters. The red-eyed monster of the Dark Side was still prowling at the back of her subconscious, but as she tamed her anger, it began to fade from existence.

Safina felt the Force, and concentrated. It was an attuning on the physical, mental and spiritual levels. Her body lifted from the metal grated deck plate. Still in her crossed-legged pose, Safina levitated upwards until she hovered one metre above the deck.

Her consciousness of her surroundings fell away. She was now deep in the Force, looking internally.

Safina’s subconscious chose to project her to a place with a river winding along a grassy plain. She recognised the vision; the Solleu River, from her short time on Naboo. She smiled. Though she had not spent much of her life on Mirial before she went to the Jedi Temple, she still instinctively found the cool tranquillity of this river to be relaxing compared to the hot harsh desert worlds of the Galaxy, such as Tatooine.

Strolling along dreamily, she considered the stones on the riverbed. She marvelled at the smoothness, with wonder at the eons of infinitesimal nudges and rolls and strikes from particles in the river, that had gradually formed these beautiful spheres. She stopped and stood at a point at the side of the river. The water flowed on by, babbling and chatting, like the continuous and never-ending passage of time.

Safina studied the river. Why had she felt the draw of the Dark Side? Why was her spirit in turmoil?

She reached into the river and thought of Adon. She pulled out a large, round, smooth stone. It was too heavy to hold one-handed.

Though as captain of the ship Adon had been the primary obstruction to her mission to save the Jedi, now she weighed the stone she found it cool and not conflicted. She could not have expected him to just do what she asked. She had nothing to offer this stranger. It was not a failing of his understanding, it was a failure of her ability to explain.

Safina replaced the stone carefully and strolled on. She stopped, reached into the river, and thought of August. This time she brought out something amorphous and slippery. It might have been a weed or some lifeform, or some unusual gel-like mineral.

Though he certainly had not helped, August was not the cause of her anger. She could not quite discern how his path had crossed hers, nor what role he may have to play in her future. He was an unknown quality. One to watch.

Safina walked on. Her spirit was quietening. Self-realisation was the most important step to self-resolution.

She found a bank of shingles and reached into the river, and thought of Farnun. Her hands emerged clutching a jagged shard of a flint-like stone. It was hot and hurt to hold.

Safina did not react with surprise. She knew what the problem was. She had always known. This was a moment of self-realisation. For a long time she held onto that stone hard, and felt the pain burning into her hands.

She had felt his bristling anger, too, when she asked to be alone. He had stomped from the chamber, fuming, and one did not have to be a Jedi to sense it. She sighed. The sadness washed over her, like a cold river.

Now that Safina stepped out of herself and looked inside, examined everything that had been said and done, she knew with eternal sadness; Farnun was her problem.

No, that was unfair. Rephrase. It is not his fault.

Her feelings for Farnun were the problem.

Every decision she had made since meeting him, each had progressively led her to the point of falling to the Dark Side. The feelings had felt so good, how could that be? Only now was she starting to realise why the Jedi taught against allowing oneself to be guided by one’s love for another.

She should never have asked him to join her on her quest for the lightsaber. She had thought it would be an exciting adventure, allured by his roguish ways. She was a silly child.

She should never have agreed to go to Nar Shaddaa. It was true she knew little of the place, but she had heard enough rumours to have known better.

Safina cringed at the next thought. She should never have made that stupid, stupid plan to dance for the Hutts to try and earn money for Farnun. Was she trying to impress him?

And then, when they were apart, she had done many things right. She had even touched enlightenment into a Force ability at which she had never before succeeded.

Then, almost as soon as she had set eyes upon him again, another mistake: Safina had known there was danger on that space dock. She had sensed it in the Force, clear as a Kyber crystal. How could she have missed that ambush? Why did she go rushing in?

Because of my feelings for Farnun.

And that had led her to this place, on this ship, and the confrontation with Adon.

It was again too much to ask for Farnun to understand the difference between just acting on impulsive emotion, and acting on Jedi instinct. He could not understand that the Jedi were about to become extinct if they had not acted immediately to get there and warn them.

But it had deeply burned her that he had turned against her; she had really, really needed a voice of support in that discussion. It had hurt her so much that he could not have just trusted her judgment.

This was not Farnun’s fault. Her pain had come from her feelings for him.

And pain leads to suffering… suffering leads to anger… She heard Master Yoda’s words echo in her mind.

The end of that path was inevitable.

Safina lowered the jagged stone back into the river. As she held on for a last moment, she caught a strange sight in her reflection in the water. It was in shadow, but suddenly her reflection looked exactly like the outline of… Vader’s helmet!

She dropped the stone and jumped back, alarmed. But the moment passed, she remembered she was within her own subconscious, meditating.

She looked to the other side of the river and saw Vader standing there, just watching her. She did not jump this time, but only looked back and wondered. Eventually the black-armoured figure turned with a swirl of cloaks and faded into the shadows beneath some trees.

    The river flowed on.

Safina frowned. What did this mean? Her sadness deepened when the answer came.

If I try to hold onto Farnun, I will one day become like Vader.

She wept then. Was there really no other way?

But with the insight, another thought crossed her mind. Was Vader once a Jedi? Was it for love that he had made bad choices, and become the monster he is today? Would it be important for the remaining Jedi to know this?

The questions were not answered. Not yet. The river flowed on. Time would tell.

Safina opened her eyes, and looked upon the metal walls of the Genet. She recognised a subtle change in the engine hum. They were coming out of hyperspace…

Ash fiercely slashed the stormtroopers and dodging their bullets.

He turned to Gerald, "How many did you count? I counted 23!"

A wave of stormtroopers then appeared from their back, "Watch out, Master Starwalker!" screamed Ash

Minutes had passed, it almost felt like the stormtrooper reinforcements were infinite. But then, the stormtroopers disappeared. No more reinforcements. They felt something was off.

"Master Starwalker, don't let your guard down, do you sense it?" said Ash to Gerald cautiously

They ran to the corridor, but behind them they heard a lightsaber ignite, and again. The two ignited their lightsabers, and saw an Inquisitor.

They both striked the two blades, then they heard another Inquisitor. "You fight that one, and I'll fend off this one" said Ash.

    Looking Back to look Ahead

The scoundrel stood motionless for a moment longer, before he returned Adon’s nod and moved to sit where indicated. Despite himself, Farnun released a heavy sigh. It was a telling gesture. He carried a heavy weight, something that was perceptible now that his mask of aloofness had inadvertently fallen. Clearly, he’d tried to ‘mask’ up once again, but this time doing so was turning out a bit more difficult than anticipated.

Farnun continued to stare at the hyperspace tunnel- before he forced himself to look away and regard the armored man next to him. An unbidden thought pass through his mind: Armor and a helmet, perhaps he should avail himself of something similar. It was a clever ‘disguise’. The idea had some merit.

“Guess I should thank you….” Farnun heard himself say to the man, finally finding his voice and pushing his less pleasant thought to the side. “For the rescue, I mean.” Farnun clarified.

“Since you’re not turning us in, guess that’s what it was.” He concluded, a dry mirthless chuckle issuing from his lips.

Farnun’s eyes roved the instruments and the cockpit around them, taking in the controls as well as the 'decor'. He touched nothing, but pointed at various monitors and controls, naming them aloud.

“Looks like you’ve modified a few features…” He observed aloud, before returning to the topic.

“So….” he began to say, taking in a breath and sinking deeper into the chair.

“What’s your angle. Why let us go, I mean?”

Farnun grew silent, though he side glanced around the cockpit. He grew silent as he was curious as to the answer, yet he wished the conversation to remain between the two of them. He had no reason to trust August, who had yet to reveal anything about himself or his involvement.

    IC: Avinn Neir and Inquisitor
    Prison Barge, Sullust space

Avinn continued to look at the inquisitor. He then looked at Ash, Gerald and Grimm before turning back towards the inquisitor and deactivating his Yellow saber.
"The rebillion is a cause that is for the weak. I am stronger and wiser than Falcon Squadron. I give myslef to the empire." Explained Avinn with a pined expression on his face. The inquisitor smiled at this.
"Someone of your Species could be useful to the empire. Come and stand beside me and assist us in stamping out the rebels." The inquisitor Replied and Avinn went and stood beside him. Avinn waved his hand over the bottom of his saber and pointed to the side, Ash would notice this and take point. The trap had already been sprung so there was no point even trying to resist the empire. The inquisitor then turned to Ash.
"You see Padawan, the empire isn't all bad, be wise like your freind here and join the empire. We can offer you a better home than the rebels can. Face it, you ain't getting out if here, not alive anyway." The last part he aimed at the rest of the rebels as well as Ash. Avinn stood on and ignited his Yellow saber to stand beside the red blades of his allies. Avinn knew what he was doing but he feared the others might see the same thing he was.

Tanal stood in the grass of Eridau. He kept an eye on the sky looking for the others. He had told them he would meet them here and he hoped they belived him. Tanal then sensed something was wrong and when he reached out with the force he realised that Avinn had joined the Empire. The one who had helped him build Falcon Squadron and become something like his his brother. Avinn Neir was an Inquisitor. Tanal was hurt and felt betrayed and lashed out with the force sending force lightning at a nearby tree setting it alight. Tanal then began to mediate on this recent turnout. The tree was quickly extinguished beside him and his white saber floated ahead of him. The white saber was taken apart bit by bit until each piece began to circle around the Nutolan Jedi including the recently installed white crystal. He remembered an important lesson from Master Windu when Tanal first showed signs of the dark side.
"The Dark side is a path many Jedi would have fallen to but you show the ability to use it whilst remaining the light. Not many Jedi have that skill we are amoung the very few."
Tanal rembered the day he entered battle with his purple saber. Many had feared him like they had Master Windu. Tanal smiled at this. He continued his meditation session and he would only leave it once the Genet Galor showed up. He was eager to see his Padawan again and Farnun too, he had to see them with his own eyes in person, he had to make sure they were alright. He also needed to meet the Mandolorian that they were with as he had always been fascinated by the Species.

    Polis Massa, rebel base.

Hilda was overseeing things here on Polis Massa. It was quite she'd give it that, but it was in this area of the galaxy and she was thankful as she wasn't what she was during the clone wars. She was one if the few that truly knew what happened to the jedi order and that the emperor was just using the jedi for his own sinister plan. She had fought alongside the jedi against the sepertist invasion on her Homeworld of Kamea and was owed them a great deal especially that Jedi master that had been there that was similar in age to her. He was a fine general and it was a pity that he was nowhere to be seen. But that's what the galaxy had become for the remaining jedi after order 66, a gaint game of cat and mouse between the jedi and the inquisitors. She looked down from her position on the catwalk and saw that she was wanted by a senior officer. She sighed deeply and walked down the few flights of stairs to meet him in the landing platform.
"Hilda, we need you to sweep the sorrounding area for a quick routine check, take your squad with you." The Kaminoan rebel commander said.
"As you wish, Commander" Hilda replied before she headed back inside the base to gather her stuff and her squad.

Adon checked several of the gauges around the control panels in front of him as Farnun found a seat, doing a few last-minute checklist things before they dropped out of hyperspace. At the sudden thanks from Farnun, Adon swiveled his chair slightly toward him and nodded.

“Not a problem,” he replied. “I wish the first meeting could have been a bit less…dramatic…but we made it out in one piece. Whatever you were there for, apologies that you weren’t able to get it. After this ordeal in Sullust, perhaps we can fix that somehow. You never did mention what it was.”

He hoped the answer to his question didn’t involve going back into Hutt space for it. Returning to Nar Shaddaa would prove to be a bit more interesting the next time.

“A few things, yes,” Adon replied with a small chuckle. “When you basically live on a ship, you tend to find ways to personalize, I suppose. Some things are made for multiple crewmembers, but only having one pair of hands and a droid, I find ways to automate or link to other things. Some things are just sentimental.”

He reached up and flicked the chain of metal hexagons hanging down, producing a series of clinks.

“Pieces of my family’s armor, for example. The rest of their suits are in the cargo hold, or sometimes on me when I need them.”

He let out a sigh before turning his chair fully toward Farnun at the last question. Noticing the look he gave around the ship, Adon nodded and hit a button, making the doorway to the cockpit shut.

“It should come as no surprise to you that there’s resistance growing all around the galaxy against the Empire. Based on what I heard between you and the two Jedi that appeared back in the cargo bay, you’ve already gotten yourself elbow deep in it, along with Safina. While some people like to be a bit more up front in pushing back, others, like me, are better suited resisting in other, less obvious, ways. I have a bit of a reputation as a bounty hunter, and yes, I do that line of work when the need arises, but mostly I find things for the rebel cells scattered out there. Sometimes it’s blasters, or food, or even ships. Many times, it’s people I find, and the bounty system sometimes works very well in that. Sometimes I find legitimate thugs who deserve a detention cell, and the bounty goes toward the cause, but other times I find people who the Empire wants to lock up simply for dissenting. My droid picked you up on the bounty database, but when I saw the charges, I had a hunch you might have hit back at the Empire once already. People like you and Safina are the ones I try to find, someone who could benefit from having a group of like-minded people to work with, rather than be alone and limited. Had you not already been wrapped up with the Jedi, I might have been working right now on getting in contact with some groups looking for a…pilot, if I guess right.”

Adon smirked under his helmet as he gave the man a chance to digest the information, while he turned and checked another couple of gauges.

“On the rare occasion, I run across a Jedi in need of safety. Safina is not the first one on this ship, and hopefully not the last. When I find a Jedi, making sure they reach a safehouse in a priority. The more I can keep alive, the better chance we have at standing up against the Imperials.”

“Granted, sometimes it’s hard to convince them to get safe first before jumping back into the fight, which has led to more than a few arguments,” he commented with a laugh. “It doesn’t help that Mandalorians and Jedi have many times been on opposite sides of a fight in history, and both sides are sometimes too stubborn for their own good. Despite all that, the best chance I see for us is to work together. Mandalore is occupied by the Empire, the Jedi Order has been scattered. Seems like we’re all in the same boat. We just need to agree on which way to paddle.”

He looked back at Farnun to see how he was taking the new information. The sigh at the beginning of the conversation made Adon think he needed something encouraging, and he hoped the news of others out there working to help him would give him a boost. If nothing else, Farnun wouldn’t have to worry about getting handed over to Imperials.

A beep on the instrument cluster caught Adon’s attention, and he turned to look at the navigation. They were approaching Eriadu. He reached up to take hold of the hyperdrive throttle.

“Fair warning about my sister. Don’t make her mad. I’ve seen her throw a droid halfway across the cargo hold for pestering her.”

Prowler chirped indignantly while swiveling to glare at Adon.

“Same for you, Prowler. Now, if your navigation aim is right, we should be…”

Adon pulled back on the throttle, causing the ship to decelerate with a low boom. The hyperdrive tunnel quickly began to shorten until the blue streaks disappeared and were replaced by black space. Ahead of them, the planet Eriadu suddenly loomed large, and in front of it, a very close distance from their ship, hung a large, blue gunship waiting for them.

“…right here. And there’s Serra’s ship, the Kkowir Wraith, right on time.”

The ship mimicked Adon’s in the design, with two large engines set at the tips of the wings. However, where the Genet Galar was armed a bit subtly, this ship was very visibly armed to the teeth, with sizeable cannons on the engines, blaster cannons on the leading edges of the wings, twin torpedo launchers, and a chin gun set into the tall bubble canopy dominating the front of the ship.

Suddenly the comms chirped to life.

“Took you long enough, vod. I was beginning to get bored.” The voice was that of a woman, clear and full of energy, with an accent not far off Adon’s and tinged with a hint of sarcasm.

“A good opportunity to practice your Cu’bikad, sounds like,” Adon chided back with a chuckle. “Standby, we’re coming alongside. Prep for airlock linking.”

With that, Adon fired up the main engines and started the ship on its path toward the Kkowir Wraith. Once alongside the ship, he maneuvered the Genet so that the airlocks were facing each other, then pulled a lever that caused the ships to magnetically link.

“Good lock,” Adon said to no one in particular. Then he spoke into the ship intercom while Prowler began guiding the ships toward the planet surface, where the new Jedi would likely be waiting for them. “Everyone prep for friendly boarding party.”

Down in the cargo bay, the airlock hissed and sprung open with a fine spray of mist from a hydraulic line. Through the mist came the voice from the comms.

“Vod, what did I tell you about replacing these hydraulic lines? One day they’re going to burst and stop working. I’m not fixing them every time for you.”

Immediately following the voice came thudding footsteps as into the ship walked a rather tall, furry Wookie donning panels of what was clearly Mandalorian armor, her face hidden behind a proportionally sized helmet. Her words were in Basic but came from a vocoder in her helmet. Under the helmet, the faint growls of a Wookie were heard as the vocoder quickly translated.

    Welcoming Committee

He was headed back to base having completed an impromptu investigation. That’s when he saw it on his sensors.

“Well, that’s curious.” The pilot commented. “R1Z4. Get me closer, nice and easy, then open a hailing frequency.”

Sequential beeping sounded within the ship’s cockpit, indicating a response. The channel was open, just as the muffled sound of thrusters heralded a course adjustment.

“Unidentified Y-Wing, come in. This is ARC Razor, system patroller. What’s your status? Your thruster emissions suggest you’re flying on vapors. Do you require assistance reaching the base, copy?”

Navigating an asteroid field with low or no fuel could prove to be an unnecessary risk any pilot would rather avoid.

From the port side of his cockpit, Dev would be able to see the ship which was attempting to hail him.

The pilot silenced his com for the space of a few seconds as he spoke. “RZ, inform Base Control that we have a visitor.” He managed to say, before switching back the com, even as he waited for a response from either the Y-Wing or Base Control.

    Ash Qir
    Prison Barge

"I can give you a better home than the Rebels. Join us." said the Inquistor "You're not getting out alive anyways"

Ash was tempted. But he knew what was right. He ignited his saber when Avinn ignited his.

    *Kwishuu!*

"I guess you made your choice. Suit yourself. Boys, get them!" said the Inquistor

"Come at me, you eggheads!" said Ash enthusiastically

He aimed at the red sabers, as well as Avinn and Gerald. "You two okay there?" asked Ash

The Inqusitor striked but Ash countered it. Ash went for the blow and pushed them both back. Ash Force pushed the Inqusitor and aimed his lightsaber at him. A perfect-timing counter was done by the Inquisitor. With the Inquisitor cornered, Ash wanted to keep it that way. The Inquisitor backflipped and striked the back of Ash. A counter was done. This was truly an intense fight. Blow by blow and strike by strike, both of them was getting tired. Until this happened.

"Give up, Jedi scum!" shouted the Inquisitor

The Inqusitor charged against Ash, but Ash ducked at the right moment, which gave him the opportunity to pierce a hole through him.

    "One down, boys. Come on!"

OOC: Landing on Eriadu GM appproved

    IC: Deveraux "Dev" Bombardier
    Location: Y wing, Eriadu

Whilst Q was calculating Dev had a look around. Not much else around where he was but with this being an Imperial world there could be Star Destroyers or TIE's lurking around. There was another ship nearby, looked like something bounty hunters could use. Luckily not interested in him.

His sensors pinged "What's this…" Dev wondered aloud as a ship appeared nearby right next to the other one "well well what do we have here…."

Q whistled in what sounded like an impressed tone "Yeah I agree that looks a good bit of engineering" another thing about Corellians was they loved ships to look at "I wouldn't mind flying that. That's a good looking craft".

"And no you can't tinker with it" he said to Q before he suggested something, in response Q made a rude noise. "Hold on the jump for now, let's see what's going on…"

He and Q watched as the ships locked together and headed towards the planet "Well that's either pirates or smugglers or whatever doing something. Not our problem. Time to-"

All of a sudden there was a spark and his sensors went dead as well as some of his electronics "What the hell?" Dev said fliniching away from the spark "Weapons and shields offline, sensors gone, engines still running….Q can you detect anything?",

The purple and silver droid was silent as he ran through diagnostics then beeped "Great, electronics short, do we have to land to fix and can you fix it?"

Q responded in the affirmative on landing then beeped a response that sounded like Dev had asked a stupid question as to whether he could fix it. "Fine, fine you can fix it. But we need a safe place to land".

As Dev began to descend towards the planet as quick as he could to try and avoid any Imperial pursuit he knew he would have to fly on instinct as he had no sensors. At least Q would be able to alert him as he had 360 degrees of swivel in his dome.

"Let's follow those two ships and see where they are headed. If they are pirates…well we'll deal with that. Maybe you might be able to use your toys on 'em"

Q beeped happily at the sound of that. It looked like they were heading towards a castle, as Dev got closer and throttled back he could see there was a scarlet coloured ship and…was that a person there?

"Hello folks, we have a rendezvous. Let's crash the party shall we?"

Dev landed near where the scarlet ship was parked and shut down the systems before removing his helmet and sorting out his brown, one floppy side moved to it's usual place. He pushed up the canopy and pressed a button to remove Q from his socket.

Jumping down he retrieved the ladder from the cargo section on the underside and after attaching it helped Q down. The other ships were still coming in.

"See what you can do about the electronics, and if anybody approaches who isn't supposed to…you know what to do"

Leaving Q to it he headed over to approach where the other ships were coming and the person he spotted.

    IC: Farnun Venat
    The Great Weave

    ***

    'Everything is interconnected...'

At least that's what Farnun's mother used to say to him from time to time, when she was alive.

Adon’s words prompted the scoundrel to think back on their short-lived adventure on Nar Shaddaa. A brief, though refuel smile appeared on his lips.

“We were there to get parts….” he began to say, his head turned and his gaze seemed to look beyond the closed door for the space of several heartbeats. “…but that’s in the past now.”

Farnun allowed the pang he felt to move through him and out. The past was just that, in the past. What mattered now was the present and the future.

Farnun nodded as he continued to listen and payed attention to the Mandos words. Adon seemed a very experienced adventurer, one he could learn a thing or two from. When he mentioned ‘family’ Farnun kept his facial expression impassive. At least Adon possessed mementos as reminders, yet there was far more to the Bounty Hunter than he could have guessed.

The tale Adon regaled him with was quite an incredible one. The Mando was both a Bounty Hunter and part of the Resistance as well? Farnun couldn’t keep the expression of awe from his countenance. His adventurous side enjoyed such stories - and his practical side was now connecting dots that weren’t originally present in his thinking.

This was ‘too good to be true’! Adon was part of a network of like-minded Resistance Fighters, opposing the Empire in all parts of the galaxy. Farnun didn’t think he’d ever find ‘The Resistance’ after escaping with his life. Technically, he was right. If Adon was indeed who he said he was, then the Resistance had found him, if only by coincidence.

    Was his ‘luck’ coming back?

Farnun felt a surge of both elation and trepidation come over him. Wasn’t this what he’d always wanted?

“But…but…..I’ve done TERRIBLE things……” Farnun stammered in an attempt to object. The scoundrel winced for a second, his mind beating back a particularly unpleasant remembrance, before turning back to the conversation at hand.

“How’d you guess I was a pilot?” He wondered aloud, now self-reviewing to see what could have given him away.

Despite himself Farnun chuckled dryly at the mention of the Jedi.

“Yeah, I guess it is complicated…Jedi business, I mean.” Farnun averted his gaze, mentally forcing himself to not focus on the face that nearly materialized in his mind’s eye.

“But….yeah, fighting the Empire. That’s all that matters.” He asserted.

The scoundrel paused, taking in all the information that was shared, even as he went over it again.

“That’s quite a story.” He confessed, still trying to find a hole in what was said, but he couldn’t find one. His mind was trying to determine if this was an elaborate ruse of some kind, but his gut did not confirm this, nor did he get that tingling warning when things took a bad turn. Adon would notice that Farnun was mulling over things, but slowly nodding his head in contemplative agreement.

A beeping console brought the scoundrel out of his reverie as the Genet Galar approached Eriadu.

It was happening. From here, they would resupply- then would be off to fight the Empire and help the remaining Jedi.

“I’m in.” Farnun heard himself say as he strapped in. “So…do you happen to have some rookie armor I could maybe borrow?” he added, half-joking, but serious enough in his delivery.

As the ship descended, the scoundrel acknowledged Adon’s warning about his sister. He well knew to avoid women with bad tempers. In his travels, he’d grown quite familiar with the old adage: Hel hath no Fury…

Farnun had to admit it, at least inwardly. He was excited for the apparent turn of events. Having some kind of direction was a welcome change. Continually running away from Imperial forces was not the kind of life he wished for himself, as it only continued down an ever darkening path.

For the first time in a very long time, the scoundrel took a moment to appreciate his surroundings and the view outside the ship’s cockpit. It was a simple pleasure, but one he had deprived himself, mostly due to justified paranoia. After a moment, his gaze caught sight of a ship waiting for them.

    “Wow.”

As if reading his mind, Adon mentioned the gunship.

“The Kkowir Wraith…” Farnun echoed. He also made a mental note of Adon’s ill-tempered sister, Serra. Best to get her name right the first time around.

In the moment, Farnun took his time unstrapping himself, while listening to the amusing comms chatter. “Vod?” Farnun repeated, becoming suddenly curios at Adon’s other name. He noticed how Adon maneuvered the Genet expertly to airlock link the two ships. He’d never had the opportunity to try such a maneuver himself, but it was good seeing it performed. Farnun could feel the controlled micro-pulses in the ship thrusters and wondered if Prowler was responsible for that level of precision.

In short order, the two ship crews would meet in the cargo bay. Farnun would do what he could to be the last one to arrive. This was a simple precaution he’d adapted for sometime. As he watched figures moving about the steaming hydraulic lines, his eyes grew wide in surprise.

    Adon sister is a Wookiee!?

Thankfully, he did not voice his thoughts aloud, though his surprise was genuine. He’d never considered the possibility, that other species could actually become a Mando.

Hanging back, Farnun patently waited for introductions to be made. That’s when his eyes shifted almost automatically as he peripherally perceived a very familiar shape.

    “Is that a Y-Wing?”

Farnun didn’t move from his spot, but imagined the sighting of the starfighter to be some kind of sign.

    Rec Tren
    Polis Massa Space

In Polis Massa Space, a Delta-7B Aethersprite jumps out of hyperspace. "Alright, alright, R7, I know my flying is reckless, but we got here, ain't we?" said Rec to his borrowed droid, R7-12. "Get ready for landing, we're headed for that Rebel Outpost."

The ship landed, and Rec got out of his cockpit. "Stay here, R7." he said. He approached a fellow Rebel, and asked him, "Heya, um, how do you join the Rebels?"

He knew he didn't make that first impression he wanted to make, he tried to stop stuttering. He followed the Rebel that he asked. As he walked, he glanced at the ships, and was excited to get his new replacement.

They went into an office and he asked, "W-what now?" He was nervous, he gulped and tried to fight off the fear.

IC: Gerald Starwalker & Avinn Neir
    Prison Barge, Sullust space

Gerald watched on Avinn left the rebel alliance and joined the empire. Gerald's face widened in disbelief and he suddenly wanted to strike down the jedi master. He heard the inquisitor trying to urge ash into the empire but by the looks of things Ash wasn't going to give in, not easily. As the inquisitors ignited their crimson sabers, Avinn ignited his own yelllow blade .Gerald ignited one of his green blades and stood in a Soresu stance, one arm over the head with the lightsaber and the other streched out in front of him. Gerald waited for the first move of the inquisitors or Avinn.

Avinn watched as Gerald took up his stance.
"Get them boys" said one of the inquisitors and a few of the inquisitors leapt forward with his yellow blade extended ahead of him directly for Gerald.

Gerald brought his blade up to block the blade of the former Jedi master and twisted his body around in case of a counter attack. Gerald knew that Avinn was a former member of the jedi council and knew that he was a skilled fighter as one didn't get onto the jedi council for being one of the only members of a Species. Gerald had often seen Avinn as a Jedi who knew what he was doing and could work around things if they didn't go to plan. The two force sensitives knew eachother well as they had often spared together within the jedi temple. Even as a master one had to keep their skills sharp if not on point.

Avinn's yellow blade collided with Gerald's own green blade and as Avinn twisted for another strike Gerald had already moved to avoid it. Avinn was expecting something of the sort however as he and Gerald knew eachothers why of fighting. Some times it was outside the tradional Jedi ways but it worked and that's all that mattered to the two. Avinn held his Yellow saber with a reverse grip and brought his Hilt towards the back of Gerald's head. The yellow blade was pointed away from the jedi master as Avinn couldn't bring himslef to kill the jedi. Not yet.

Gerald was hit full force with the hilt of Avinn's saber and his head seared with pain in response. Gerald brought his green blade around at Avinn aiming to injure the former jedi master.

Ash aimed a force push against one of the Inquisitors, the Inquisitor then turned his lightsaber off when he hit the wall. Ash took the opportunity and strike.

"Okay, up next, is.. another egghead.." said Ash. He was really bored, the opponents seemed to weak for him. He then went for the strike on the last Inquisitor, but it seems like he underestimated him. The strike was countered with a kick rather than a lightsaber strike. Ash was pushed to the floor, and as he got up, the Inquisitor went for it. Thanks to Ash's quick reflexes, he rolled and nearly became beheaded.

As Ash saw the marks on the floor, he was starting to be nervous. He stood up and aimed at the hilt. It wasn't easy, and it ended up as a wrong move. Ash again nearly got sliced, and he asked for help.

"Master Gerald, I need some help here!"

He swam alone in his thoughts. A watchful, brooding face hid any chance of understanding his mind.

He stared at the wall, smoke continuing to curl around him. Minutes pass of complete silence, the only sound was the thrum of the ship and the slight hiss whenever August would draw from his cigarra.

Without warning, a smirk slipped on August's face. His teeth glinting with the lights.

Indeed. He thought to himself, as though conversing with himself, before his thoughts were interrupted.

    There was an interruption.

He stood, finding the others, before he set his eyes on the Wookie. He hid a deep frown, simply staying quiet and staring.

Adon chirped something about a Y-Wing. August took a breath, and then drew from his cigarra.

What a peculiar set of events. Thought August...

    The Genet Galar
    [IMG]

Safina recovered her wits and transitioned back from her Force trance. She felt calm and cleansed and refocused in the Force.

A strange clunk echoed throughout the ship and Safina cocked her head to one side. The high hum of the hyperspace engines had definitely ended, but they were not yet landed.

The Padawan levitated back to the deck, lightly touching back down. She uncrossed and stretched her legs, then rose and opened the door to the sleeping chamber.

Where is everyone? she wondered. Then she caught voices drifting up from the cargo deck. Safina slipped down and halted at the entrance to the hold.

They had docked with another ship while in orbit. That explained the noises. Safina watched as Adon's "sister" entered from the docked ship. Even though she was away at the edge of the hold, Safina took an involuntary step backwards. The being was massive, with full armour and the faceless Mandalorian mask making it even more imposing.

The Padawan caught the growling beneath the vocoder translations and realised; This being is a Wookiee. I wonder what other secrets our esteemed captain is hiding?

Safina searched for Farnun, and soon found him near to Adon. She sensed a subtle change in Farnun's aura, and anxiety clenched her guts. She still did not know what to do about Farnun.

Then she caught the whiff of cigarra smoke and noticed the other scoundrel, August, across the other side of entranceway. Like her, he was lingering away from the group. He had an unreadable expression and Safina considered again how this one had been interpreted in her Force trance. More questions to be answered...

Safina centred on her focus in the Force once more. She did not approach the group. She did not want another confrontation.

But when the joined ships finally landed on Eriadu, she went to the cockpit to find Adon. She offered her credit chip.

"I thank you for your assistance on Nar Shaddaa. These are Republic credits, I am afraid, but it is all I have. There are still some systems, I believe, that will exchange for local currency - they had to, to save their banking systems from collapsing at the time of Imperial declaration. Otherwise, please be assured the Jedi will seek to repay the debt at another time."

    She bowed to the Mandalorian.

"And now I must follow my path, as you must follow yours. Perhaps they will cross again, one day."

She faced Farnun next. The open door to the Eriadu landscape, and the way to find her Masters, beckoned. She took a deep breath, tried - and failed - to keep the anxiety from her voice.

    "Will you come with me?"

    IC: Farnun Venat
    Self; Despised

He had watched her from the moment she’d entered the cargo bay, his brown eyes tracked her, his head swiveled accordingly. His expression was a mask of neutrality, his voice - silent.

Farnun watched that which he was able and heard that which he was able, as Safina made good on her decision. It came as no surprise, for she had stated her intentions even before they had landed- and now that moment was upon them.

Farnun thought he was ready. He had prepared his mind for the eventuality. By now, it had become far easier than he’d care to admit- to say ‘good bye’, to ‘part ways’ - no ‘hard feelings’ and all that ’noise’. Fine then. He could live with that. It was good while it lasted- or whatever…..

The scoundrel felt himself cross his arms over his chest as she approached, though his face still remained impassive. Expectant. Yeah, it was better this way. He would even test his resolve, his strength by looking her in the eye as he said his last ‘good bye’. It had become so much easier by now. After all, he was a scoundrel.

The door opened to the Eriadu landscape, a soothing soft breeze rushed in. She stood there, before him, with the wind caressing them both. folded his arms tighter and fidgeted. He could almost hear the words. Cold. Final. Detached.

Safina turned to him and spoke five words he had not expected to hear - in a tine of trust he wish she had not.

    He wasn’t ready.

    No. It was worse.

He was suddenly in that moment- again. The moment he’d been running from for more than a year now. Someone else had said those same words to him.

    ‘Will you come with me’

Farnun had worked at the shipyards for months as a lowly mechanic, trying all he could to get access in order to accomplish his secret mission, but had made no headway. He’d been at the commons, his mood sour, barely eating. His eye had caught a lovely attendant staring now and again, but he didn’t initially pay it any mind- until an idea suddenly blossomed.

The next day and the day after that and so on, he began to befriend the lovely attendant. They conversed avidly- for she was a gentle spirit. He’d come to find out that she worked at the shipyard on certain days, ad been doing so for some time- and therefor knew her way around. This was fortuitous.

Farnun continued his friendship with the lovely attendant and made his desire to see other parts of the shipyards known. Building these new Star Destroyers were simply- fascinating feats of engineering to a lowly mechanic.

The lovely attendant was soon showing him to areas he couldn’t simply access, interestingly enough. How very kind she was. She seemed to like how he laughed and wished to indulge his fascination.

The secret mission was proceeding better than he had anticipated, except, he suspected the lovely attendant was fascinated by something other than shipyard engineering.

It was becoming increasingly harder to keep up the ‘facade’ as he collected intelligence on the shipyard. How did a simple ‘lunch room attendant’ have so much unrestricted access to an Imperial shipyard. Did she suspect his real intentions? This was worrisome, but there was no turning back now. So he continued the charade, for many more months- until the fateful day.

By now, from their previous conversations, he had concluded that her access was not accidental. She had connections, Imperial connections- but neither of them had inquired about each other's past. It was never brought up. Conveniently so. There was no way she could know, that Imperials had killed his parents. That the ship which bombarded his parent's camp was built in the very shipyard they worked in.

On that fateful day, she had one out ‘sight seeing’ with him. Apparently, she suspected what he carried ins satchel. Not only that, she’d mention how much ‘colder’ he’d been acting in the past few days.

She’d also mentioned, in quite a casual manner, that he ‘talked in his sleep’.

    So they argued.

Did she know? If so, for how long?

The charges had been set. The escape route planned. The detonator was in hand. All was ready. Farnun would have tis revenge. To top it all off, there was even a special treat. The ship that had bombarded his parents camp was docked for maintenance.

“The Armageddon? That’s my father’s ship.’

    ‘Your father? Your FATHER!?’

    ‘It’s not what you think….’

But Farnun was now in a rage and long past listening. He did not hear that she too hated the Empire, that she too wanted to end pain and suffering in the galaxy, that she too wished to go far away from here.

That’s when she spoke the words:

    “Will you come with me?”

There was deep trust in her eyes- and longing.

To think that in a moment of anger, he would betray it, for Farnun had already depressed the detonator switch. All that planning, could not be for nothing.

The sequence of explosions that followed were far greater than he could have ever anticipated. The damage more than he could hope for. Everything happened so fast. Everything shook and came apart at the seams. He hadn’t thought of the countless workers - many, many the casualties his actions would bring about. At least not at that moment- but in dark and solitary reflection The pain and the suffering his hands, his planning, his blind thirst for revenge had wrought, was tantamount to what the Empire would do.

He just wanted to hurt the Empire. To return the favor. Eye for an eye.

The world around them went up in flames- that was the last time he saw her - the last time he knew trust.

But now, after all this time, there stood Safina; Not knowing, but trusting.

Did he deserve such trust? Was he not a scoundrel? A deceiver? A betrayer? Was he not - a wanted man? Was not the shadow of the Armageddon forever gnawing at his feeling feet?

Farnun’s eyes grew large, his mouth opened to speak, but no sound came out.

Safina was a Jedi, born to do noble things, to be an inspiration to others. She was everything he could never hope to be, not after what he’d done. The Empire already wished to wipe out the Jedi, how then could he bring his own troubles to them?

The scoundrel’s face began to burn with unconfessed shame. Farnun covered his face with a hand, lest she see his ignominy in his eyes. His heart was suddenly heavy, heavier than it had ever been. Farnun did not trust himself to speak, much less to explain.

The only thing he could do in that moment, was to turn away.

OOC: Sorry if this is a bit disjointed. I was about to fall asleep and the scene simply blossomed and refused to allow me to rest ( I shall spare you the maudlin piece of music that inspired it, lol ) Time for some zzzz. Here's hoping for some Pew! Pew! in due course. [face_laugh] 8-}I-)

Tanal watched as two ships entered the planets orbit and touched down closely followed by a line Y-Wing. Tanal went into the cargo hold of the scarlet Vessel 2.0 and lucky for him there was a speeder bike. He jumped onto it and fired it up before going in the direction that the two vessels had landed hoping to find his Padawan. When he did arrive he found more than what he was looking for. The Mandolorian, A Wookie, Farnun, Safina and the gingar haired lad where all near one of the two ships. Tanal powered done his speeder bike and studied the scene before he made his approach. The Mandolorian and The armour clad Wookie seemed freindly with one another. Safina was shying away from the group in the doorway of one ship. The Nutolan Jedi didn't sense any conflict between the two crews and so he approached. The only sound that gave him away was the clink that his Lightsaber made as if collided with his left leg as he walked, the silver hilt was like a stranger to Tanal and he felt that the saber felt the same way about him. The jedi master ignored this as, overtime, the jedi and the saber would become one. At least that's what his master had said just after Tanal had made his second saber all those years ago over Illum.

"At least we now meet in person, my freinds." The sound of his voice carried over the area. He was at ease but in guard both at the same time. You never knew when a peaceful conversation could turn into a full on fire fight.

    IC: Avinn Neir
    Prison barge, Sullust space

Avinn continued to fight Gerald as the inquisitor army were close to capturing the rebel alliance. The former Jedi master was not going to allow them to escape. Not now that he was a part of the Empire. The dark side of the force would serve him well. His Yellow saber swung towards Starwalker and he responded, the human preformed a saber throw sending his Yellow saber at Ash. The Gungan Jedi would either join him or die and Tanal would do the same. Avinn broke his attack away from Gerald and launched himslef at Ash instead. His Yellow saber had returned to his hand and now the Neir swung it at Ash's head. The clone trooper was still on scene and fighting against the Empire

Hilda walked through the foyer of the rebel base and she and her squad went their separate ways. They all needed a rest after their scouting mission but as a trooper approached her, she knew that she wasn't going to get one. The rebel seargent waited for the trooper to reach her.
"What is it, Telo?" Hilda asked as the trooper finally reached her.
"There's a Trandosian waiting in your office Seargent." The white skinned Togreta. Hilda began to walk to her office before she turned back to Telo.
"Just one thing. Don't call me seargent. That's an order." The human seargent commanded before finishing her journey. As the seargent entered there was indeed a Trandosian in the room. Hilda's left eye flicked to thr Trandosian's lightsabers and she had all she needed.
"Sorry for making you wait, Master Jedi. How may the Rebel Alliance help you today?" A smiling Hilda asked offering her hand to shake the jedi's.

    Prison Barge, Sullust Space

As Ash was taking a rest, he saw Master Gerald and Avinn fighting. He was confused, but then he thought that Gerald turned against us. He firmly held onto his lightsaber.

Moments later, he saw Gerald charging into him, into his head. Thanks to Ash's swift movements, he ducked and turned his lightsaber on. He striked Gerald and said, "Master Starwalker, I don't want to do this. How could you? Over the past few days, I trusted you, and if you want to kill me, I'll let you, but just think about how wrong your actions have been. It's not too late." he said

Ash became weaker and weaker as Gerald was too strong, he was nearly about to give up.

OOC: Since there's a bit more back-and-forth dialog in this post, I'm going to color code it for clarity going forward between Adon and Serra. Just to avoid confusion.

    IC: Adon and Serra Haran

    Genet Galar

Adon could see by the look on Farnun’s face that whatever “terrible” things he had done, maybe now wasn’t the time to talk them out. Still, it seemed like the man was on board with the idea of joining the rebellion.

“Whatever you did, the good news is you at least have a conscience about it. The Empire does worse, and simply doesn’t care. Sometimes we have to do stuff we aren’t proud of, but we do them to help others, not put them under our control.”

At the mention of armor, Adon chuckled a bit and nodded.

“I’m sure I have something around here. Not sure what you mean by ‘rookie’ armor, but what I have should help keep you alive. Let’s go see what we can find.”

The door opened and they stood to leave, though Adon didn’t get too far before Safina caught him with a credit chit. He gently waved it away.

“I don’t want your credits, Safina. That’s not why I helped, and not why I’m continuing to help. I apologize for letting my frustration take over earlier. I will help you, but I hope you’ll forgive me for trying to keep you in one piece while I’m at it. I may be a Mandalorian, but I don’t want the Jedi to be destroyed. I suggest we meet with your master before making the next move. However, if you still insist on going at it your way, I won’t stop you, and you can resupply out of my ship. Food, water, lightsaber parts if you need to repair your blade.”

He would stand by his word and let her go her separate way if she insisted, though he hoped she didn’t. Still, he wondered what effect it would have on others if she left, namely Farnun. The tension between them all but blipped across his helmet optics, and he could have cut it with a beskad. However, he wasn’t about to get in the middle of them once Safina looked to Farnun to go with her. Instead he made his way to some crates in the cargo bay.

Opening one up, he pulled out a flak vest with some armor mounted to it. It was obviously Mandalorian armor, though some pieces were missing, like the right shoulder bell and the gauntlets. Other pieces were separate, like two thigh plates, a long shin guard that also covered a knee, and a helmet with the signature t-visor of a Mandalorian helmet. All the pieces matched and had seen more than a few fights judging by the scuffs and marks. They were in solid condition, though.

Another crate produced weapons. An Imperial SE-14r light repeater, an old DC-15s from the Clone Wars, and a current model E-11 blaster, most likely taken from a downed stormtrooper. All this he set out on top of the crates and looked over at Farnun to pick from, while Serra stepped over toward him. Adon also cast a glance over at August to indicate the weapons, should he need something. His supplies were available for rearming, within reason.

“You never mentioned having a Jedi already on board, vod. I thought we were here for more,” Serra said curiously.

“We are. Safina is a padawan, but she got wind of a trap in Sullust,” Adon said with a nod. “Prison barge with inquisitors, with star destroyers waiting for the Jedi. Safina wants to go right in, but I think there’s a better play.”

“Like knocking out the destroyers? Is that why you asked me to come along, for my ion cannons?”

The rumbling from Serra’s helmet needed no translation, as it was clear she was chuckling at the whole idea.

“The thought might have crossed my mind,” Adon admitted. “They would make this whole thing a bit easier, knowing we could get cruisers off our backs.”

Serra looked down at the armor Adon had pulled out and tilted her head pensively.

“Isn’t that your old armor?” she asked.

“It is,” Adon said with a nod. “Farnun asked if I had anything spare, and no one is using this set.”

“The helmet too? Does he know what wearing it comes with?”

“No, and I’m not concerned with that yet. If he chooses it, that’s good. At least he’ll have beskar covering his head. After we make it through this, I’ll let him choose to keep it, if he wants the rest that comes with it.” He glanced over to where Farnun and Safina were talking, noting the looks on their faces. “Right now, I think they both have their hands full, so we’ll keep them alive so they can sort it out later.”

Serra looked over at the pair and observed for a moment before looking at August and turning back to Adon.

“What about the other one?” she asked.

"Narudar,” Adon replied, switching briefly to Mando’a to get the idea across to Serra. “Still working on the details.”

“Pare sol! You mean you don’t know,” Serra said, stopping mid-stride. “Wayii…”

“Burc’ya vaal burk’yc, burc’ya veman,” Adon said looking up at her. A friend during danger is a true friend. He just hoped that was true here, at least until he could run August’s records. The saying made Serra run her hands over her helmet.

“If he turns out to be a spy or something, I will beat you with your own shin plates,” Serra growled. Adon couldn’t be sure if that was a joke or a legitimate threat but would treat it as one regardless.

“Well, we better get to this new Jedi then. We’ll handle August after to see what his thoughts on the situation are.”

After a short walk down the ramp, Adon spied the Jedi moving in their direction and walked out to meet him.

“Indeed, Master Jedi,” Adon replied to Tanal’s greeting. “I’m glad we could meet in a more solid form this time. I am Adon Haran, and this is my sister, Serra. It’s good to see more Jedi roaming around, and I hope we can help keep it that way.”

Adon waited until the others caught up before pressing on to the matter at hand.

“Getting other Jedi off the prison barge is not going to be an easy job. Knowing there are star destroyers nearby makes me wary of running straight in, but I believe if we can distract them, we could get a boarding party onto the barge for an extraction.”
