BTW: Can one of the judges make a list of wing-mate pairs so that nobody tries to cheat by making an insane wing mate pair such as Klivian/Jansen (just to give one egregious example)?

 

no, no, no. The point of wing pairs is that you can make it as stacked as you want.

You don't get two pilots on a single pick. You still need to pick six pilots individually. You just get two free "trumps" to use together. So, If you wanna use your top two pilots as wingmates, go for it.
