No, I'm just wondering where in all the Hells of Barab that ghost thinks Onimi would work with Kyp Durron and Luke. Not to mention there's Dooku in there too.

Because if that means good cohesion, then I really need to overlook my way of judging. Maybe Vergere really is better than Yoda, or something.

Please explain how Onimi was a hole in my team, as one of you put it.

Last game, he beat Plo Koon, and one of the reasons I lost the match and the championship.

So if he was so powerful as to defeat Plo Koon, and therefore that level of Jedi, where does he top out?

I think if he is a hole - is he a hole on my team or just in general to anyone's team?

So he is not a 4th rounder, but a 6th?

I think we may all benefit from this knowledge.

Onimi > Luke, didn't you know...except when he's facing anybody other than Plo Koon.

 

Madine, what I noted Onimi on in your team evaluation is that he's very weak in skill and that he is adds more detriment to cohesiveness along with Dooku.

And for the record, Yoda's fecal matter could defeat Plo Koon. And that would have been better cohesively.

So Jaden Korr is better for Cohesion, better for skill, and better for power than Onimi.

the reason I grabbed Onimi, well, Nyax too, was my cohesion was not going to be that strong with Dooku there anyway, so I was going for another strong singles fighter.

Now with Jaden Korr, I will get that strong singles fighter, and better cohesion.

Alright, starting out with a victory, good game Horax.

 

I agree with Ken that my cohesion of my team with Onimi and Dooku is...challenged.

But I think what Ghost was saying is that despite all the bad cohesion I have, it is still better than an all dark-side team where cohesion simply cannot exist.

With Jaden Korr now in the mix, sure, I have 5 Jedi who are solid cohesion-wise, and sure I have Dooku - but don't forget, Dooku for most of his life was a Jedi. He was corrupted to Sidioius' ways the same way Anakin was - the promise for something more.

I am not saying Dooku is 100% perfect for cohesion on the team, but he is not as bad as other dark siders I may have put there instead, given his long experience as a Jedi.


We only saw from bburditt on the question I posted earlier. I think we can all learn something about the judges and their pov on this Onimi thing, if they all post their ideas on the topic.

Because if that means good cohesion, then I really need to overlook my way of judging. Maybe Vergere really is better than Yoda, or something.

I still think Vergere could be a legit 6th rounder. Sure her skill is pretty doo-doo, but theres people like Thon who we've never even seen with a lightsaber who always gets picked. The place she really could help is she is quite strong in the force, and has a VERY deep knowledge of it. I'd say she is wise on the level of the top guys in the draft. Her broad knowledge base is due to her time in the Old Republic, time with the Yuuzhan Vong, and finally her time discussing the Force with Jacen. She may be crazy, but either way she knows things about the force that few, if any, others have any idea of. I think she could work in the 6th spot on team with Jacen, or even on a team with Onimi, to act as a go between from him to the "Infidels" and perhaps take away some of terrible cohesion he brings to any team.

 

A couple of things, here...

Cohesion "simply cannot exist" on an all Dark Side team? What about Exar/Ulic, hm? The Jedi Civil War with Malak/Bandon at their head? The Brotherhood of Darkness (who, despite even Kaan and Bane's rumblings, still all fought together, and Kaan eventually reconciled with Bane on Dxun)? Sidious saving AnaVader on Mustafar?

Cohesion can definitely work on a Dark Side team, especially when they have single-minded goals like destroying the Jedi.

Dooku was not corrupted by Sidious' ways. He voluntarily left the Order because he was growing tired of it, and disagreed with it and the Council. He trained with Sidious because he saw that as a way to, as a Sith, correct the corruption he saw in the Jedi and the Republic. He thought he was the Chosen One himself.

That's very irrelevant. Luke is powerful enough to beat Sidious, who is a great leader and cohesive on many Dark Side teams. You can't compare individuals' abilities and try and relate that to cohesion.

Mekot: Very nice. And she does show some skill in Rogue Planet, too.
